Friendly staff and a variety of working equipment. Gets busy after 5pm but normally isn't too bad except after new years and when school lets out for summer. Not much has changed over the last few years there except additional equipment and a slight raise in the annual fee paid. Go before 3pm or on weekends for less of a crowd.

Been coming here for a while. But few months ago I saw they put up a sign no firearms permitted. (Not sure if thats even legal as it doesnt state any statutes) I find that very unconstitutional and violates the 2A rights as well as leaving us law abiding citizens vulnerable in a case of some crazy person comes in and decides to commit a violent act. I came to gym for almost 2 years, initially was fine, no problem. But as time went, they automatically charged me twice on annually fee within couple months, and originally membership was unexpectedly changed from around 22 to 45. And when I tried to talk to the gym manager, the manager was politely push the responsibility to a call center and guess what? The call center is located where? The call center has no manor, all automatic answering machine. I smell the rat out the situation. I cancelled my membership right away.

Run away from this gym. I bought a one time training session for my daughter as a gift. They secretly kept my credit card number then 6 months later charged my credit card two months in a row for $130 dollars. Then when my daughter went to complain, Judy threatened her that if she quit the gym she would be charged $150 and her credit ruined! They are committing credit card fraud and if you have also been ripped off by these crooks, pls report to State Attorney and BBB! I also wrote a bad review of this gym and they removed it so going forward, for every review i place, if it is removed, i will double down!

Overall: not terrible. Compared to another popular gym chain, this YouFit location is not crowded. However, I believe that is due to some broken equipment and missing weight labels not allowing me to know the weight to set on the machine. I am considering changing to either a different YouFit location or new gym altogether.

I'm very pleased to use Youfit Margate as my Gym. They have great machines and excellent personal. More so, the classes for Silver Sneakers are so enjoyable thanks to our Instructor Veronica, who keeps us on our tippy toes to get the best of us. Classes an fun, entertained and productive. I’ve been enjoying my time at YouFit Margate and appreciate the facility and services provided. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.
However I wanted to bring up a concern regarding the cleanliness of the ladies bathroom.
During my recent visits, I have noticed the bathroom hasn’t been cleaned as expected. Issues like dirty floors, dirty toilets and dirty sinks. I understand maintaining a gym can be challenging, but a clean bathroom is essential for a positive experience and hygiene.
I’m confident this can be addressed, and happy to see improvements in this area.

Caution !! BEWARE!!! I was a member more than a year. They required automatic Debit from my bank account. I cancelled my membership with the manager, he typing and said “My Membership is Canceled”!! But “You Fit” kept withdrawing money every month. They kept charging monthly fees. When I closed the bank account, and moved they said I owed monthly membership fees for many months. They will threaten legal action and bill collection, I wrote a letter to the collection agent disputing the charges and informing them of what occurred. The collection agency is still calling me about $60/$70 dollars!!

With those reviews anyone would say that this gym is perfect but no, try to leave and you will see the huge problem to get an answer on that phone number where you have to report a code that they give you at the branch where you go, they never answer and they keep charging you and also the last payment will be double because your withdrawal caused them discomfort and if you still haven't been able to communicate they keep charging you and so it goes the never ending chain, that of "you cancel whenever you want" is false.

Clean gym, good amount of machines, and multiple deadlifting platforms. I go during non peak hours so never a long wait and always clean. Dbells are always stacked in the right place and not lying around. Friendly and helpful staff. During the hours I go there are equally friendly gym goers with great gym etiquette. I've been attending YouFit Gym in Margate for almost three years, and it's been a fantastic experience. About 2 months ago, I started taking Pilates classes here, and I've genuinely enjoyed the new addition to my routine. Monique, the Pilates instructor and YouFit trainer, is a standout. She brings so much energy to every class and is incredibly informative. She emphasizes proper form and ensures that we're not pushing ourselves beyond our limits, which I really appreciate. Since starting Pilates, I've noticed significant improvements in my balance, strength, and midsection (if I would lay off the sweets and chips I could probably get nice abs, lol).

The front desk staff, especially Daniel P, make every visit pleasant. After only a few visits, Daniel remembered my name and now greets me personally, which adds a nice touch to my gym experience.

Kevin, the manager, is equally commendable. He truly values member feedback and works hard to make everyone feel welcome. Kevin encourages us to keep the gym clean and organized, reminding us to put away our weights and maintain the space. He will also go around with his other staff members to place weights back and to pick up napkins people leave on machines.

Overall, YouFit Gym in Margate is a great place to work out, thanks to the dedicated staff and supportive environment.

They have various of membership options to fit your needs. I personally am a Premium+ member and I take advantage their group fitness classes such as Pilates but I told myself I need to start using the Nutrition App to plan my meals so that I can reach my fitness goals.

Now about the gym itself… The gym is well-equipped with nearly every type of machine you’d expect at a typical gym, including cardio equipment, free weights (medicine balls, dumbbells, kettle bells, plates), resistance machines/smith machines, a performance lifting area, and more. Additionally, there’s a spacious turf/grass area for using the sled, stretching, doing abs etc.

If you're in the area, give it a try—I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Just remember to do your part in keeping the gym clean (while the staff are there to assist in keeping the gym clean, it is the members duty to clean up after themselves imo).

And Kevin if you are reading this, maybe you can see if we can get a childcare center in the future, lol, kidding, maybe sort of but no really.

Be careful here. My wife joined into the Silver Sneakers membership which is free to seniors. She also signed up for Zumba classes for $18/mo. She later injured her foot and could not attend Zumba classes. When she called the office to cancel her membership, she was told to call another number. Why can't they cancel our membership where we signed up for it?? You call the number and are told you cannot cancel until you go to a certain website and register. (See how hard they are making it to cancel?). After registering at the website, there is still no way to cancel. They tell you to call or write to cancel but don't give you a way to contact them. Proceed with caution. Try another gym.

I joined YouFit last month after my Jazzercise center closed, primarily for the classes. I didn’t know what to expect. I’d never done Zumba or Silver Sneakers classes before. Well… I absolutely LOVE the classes Veronica teaches Thursday thru Saturday. She is the most energizing, motivational, high-energy instructor on the planet! I work out harder because of her enthusiasm. I always break a sweat… the good kind! Her choice of music rocks! The cool-down at the end of the class is appreciated and necessary. She always stresses safety, which is so important. She encourages us to work at our own pace, which is perfect! In short, Veronica is the reason I come to YouFit!

But if there’s one thing I really value is the cleanliness of a place and the men bathroom stinks so bad, every time I go. So, if you are looking for a gym that you need to change before go to work I would check it out first before making a decision.
Another down side of it is the music, once you start going for a week you will notice it and understand what I mean. But that’s the least of my concerns, you can always bring your own music and earplugs and enjoy your workout music.

Haven't been in a gym in years and felt some apprehension....nothing to worry about. The ladies (Akyerah M. & Khyera) at the desk on 9/16 & 9/19, were very friendly & helpful.
The gym is clean and spacious.
I meet with my trainer at 6am. Not crowded. Not sure how it is later in the day.
Everyone was there to workout and had great gym etiquette.

I came in yesterday to cancel my membership because I was told over the phone that they can’t do it over the phone. So I walk in and I ask if I can cancel my membership after charging me $83 when my member ship is $26 and the man working at the front says they don’t do cancellations in store and he gave me a card to call so I call the card the automated robot doesn’t help so I call The same YouFit in margate today and now they’re telling me I have to go in the gym to cancel my membership so can you guys make up your mind? Old machines. Some don't work well and there haven't been any new machines in years.

Update: gave an additional star for the new machines. Still missing the mark on maintenance of the older equipment. They need to be oiled to run smoother. Also, usually out of towels at the cleaning stations. If you want customers to keep the equipment clean, you need to at least make sure the tools are always there to do so. Still, not a bad gym, but lax on maintenance. The new equipment is very nice, even if it wasn’t assembled properly.

I am disappointed with the Margate location. I signed up nearly 3 weeks ago and expressed my interest in the classes. I was shown the class schedules and was excited to get started. I showed up to class 3 times only to find out there was no class. Even though the classes day/time were listed on the app. I spoke with general manager who made promises that the class schedules would be updated and I would receive an email weekly with schedule. That did happen but it still was no class this week Tuesday at 6pm. I am discouraged and disappointed by youfit. They need to consider not everyone wants to use the equipment but we like a Zumba or cardio class!

YouFit sold their gym in Coral Springs to another chain and kept charging me after they closed it and then said they had transferred my membership to Margate 12 miles away. This is very unethical they should stop going after gym members from Coral Springs and Parkland once they closed their local gym location.

This YouFit is amazing. All of the staff are friendly. One of the main reasons why I still go to this specific gym is because of the bond I share with the staff. Lenny especially is one of the coolest people I’ve met. Always positive. If you go to this YouFit. You will not regret it.

No I have been a member at Youfit for a little over two years. The one by my house I had nothing but great things to say. But this is the thing they shut down do you fit by my home versus cancel my membership, but I noticed that when it was still coming out my account for the membership. Called on the phone and they said I had to cancel the person came to this Youfit that’s on 441 right next to Broward

When I came to cancel, they said that I had to pay a cancellation fee and then they tried to hit me up with extra fees for my wife counseling until they saw the contract. Be very careful with Youfit and cancel your membership.

This Youfit is such a vibe, the staff are very friendly with great customer service, it's definitely what makes this place feel welcoming. There's a variety of equipment, never over crowded especially for a person with social anxiety, its such a comfortable atmosphere being surrounded by so much positivity. The staff is awesome, the gym is kept up very well, the price is extremely affordable, and I haven’t had any bad experiences with other patrons. The only thing that could make the gym better is if they had a few more pieces of specialized equipment, but they’re not missing anything necessary.

My fiancé and I absolutely love our local YouFit at Margate. The staff is fantastic, the facility is always clean and it has pretty much all of the machines and weights we could need. My only ask of management is to consider adding a hip thrust machine! The smith machine works ok but it would be awesome if we had an actual hip thrust machine.

Insufficient amount of plates. All these barbells and no plates. It's clean. I don't know if the plates are hiding or what. Willing to revise if I see plates in free weight area on racks near barbells. It shouldn't be a scavenger hunt to find a few plates.

Love the gym but it seems that the hours are reduced every few months, when I first got my membership it was 24 hours a few days a week and then was reduced to 1am, than 12am and now 11pm, worst of all is a gym that closes at 6pm on a Saturday.
