Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I believe this situation warrants one. Today, Sunday, July 20, 2025, I arrived at the gym at 8:00 a.m. To my surprise, no staff member was present to open the facility. I waited for an hour and a half, but no one ever showed up.

This is completely unacceptable. I pay my monthly fees on time and expect consistent service in return. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and that steps will be taken to ensure it does not happen again.

🚨🚨🚨🚨I’ve been hesitant to complete a review over all the set up of the gym it’s decent to get a good workout in the main reason I have it a ratting of 1star is the cleanliness of the location I’m in the gym by 530 before work and utilize the showers to head to work. The restrooms and showers are NEVER clean. That is completely unacceptable. Showers have grime on the walls only tooth last residue from the day before and restroom have toilet tissue in the floor and the toilets are not flushed nor cleaned. If you know what I mean. If you come here AVOID the woman facilitates is possible!!!!!🚨🚨🚨🚨

he place at Richmond Heights is average. But their billing system ABC Fitness Solutions is outsourced and the do not comply. If a person requests cancellation today the process should stated cancelled as of today 11/22/2024. But they didn’t due it. The just put you in a pending cancellation for a whole month this way the can keep charging you and not make a reimbursement and also charge another $10.00 for a pending cancellation in the day they desire to do it. Be careful and have your contract at hand because they don’t comply with standard practices. Operator handling the cancellations Kim ID KCUP01. She said she was the manager but at the end tresukt is that cancellation is under status of pending not as the date you requested. Customer Service is horrible the first operator was Ann and then she put me with Kim.

Era cliente de más de 5 años ,a principio de año empecé a padecer de dolores de columna el cual me impidió seguir con los ejercicios fue a que me cerraran la membresía hasta poder empezar porque estaba pagando sin poder hacer ejercicios, luego terminé operado de la columna ,seguían cobrando volví a ir y me dicen que fue un error que ya la habían dejado de cobrar el cual fue mentira , finalmente tuve que llamar a mi banco para pagar el cobro , ahora me pasaron a unos abogados que si no pago la cuenta me afectan el crédito , al escribirle que eran unos trabajadores que votaron porque estaban trabajando mal , es decir que yo pensé que estaba negociando con you fit no con los trabajadores, para mí son unos ladrones a los clientes y poco serios en los negocios , yo lo pagué y no quiero saber más de esta cadena

This has to be the worst location every they sign me up for a membership a year ago, I cancel the membership because they charge my account more then what was the contract. I cancel with in the 30 day window. This location employee really don't know what they are talking about and every time you turn around it's group of new that still don't know what they are talking about. Plus can I get someone to help that understands what I'm saying.

It's a good place plenty of equipment and weights to workout with, don't know about the "super clean" comments from everyone, am I the only that looks at the air vents? Those things are black with dirt lol the quail roost spot is much more cleaner imo

Update: 9/2024 this gym is still trash. I pay 30 dollars a month to breathe in dust. Hire a cleaning person to clean the return ducts and air vents. Replace the ceiling tiles that can't be cleaned because of the porous surface. This is ridiculous

This is my morning gym before I head to work, and I’ve been going here for the last 3 years. It was terrible in the beginning, bad smell, no A/c, water fountain was always down and the bathroom was terrible. But as of last year they have taken a lot better care and honestly Edwin has been a great asset to this location. He’s always friendly and greeting people and making sure everything is cleaned and tidy. He himself has done so much for this location alone, but I enjoy coming here now. Great job

Total... no me colaboraron y este febrero 2024 es el último mes del contrato y para broche de oro ... los muy LADRONES se cobran la anualidad del próximo.contrato y muy campantes y descaradamente dicen que no lo pueden regresar.....

The worst gym you could get a membership at. The gym is so small and limited, it’s not clean, something is always out of order and the staff say anything to get you to sign up. I signed up under the deal of the first months free and every month I get charge and I call in they say “oh we’ll take it off next month” the dishonesty was the last straw for me. I absolutely love this gym! The equipment is well kept and always clean. The fridge always has fresh cold drinks which I love. Not to mention how amazing the staff is. My name is Rick and went in to your location on Sunday, February 19 at around 3:00 in the afternoon. I walked in and was greeted with a “Welcome to Youfit” and a smile. I told the young man my name and that I am a member in Port Charlotte and I was in Miami visiting family. He reached out his hand and said “my name is Shane. Thank you for choosing our location.” I was at the facility for about 2 hours. Very clean facility - good working equipment. Shane was very helpful with customers, answering questions and even showing some proper lifting forms on the turf. When I was done and walking past the counter, he thanked me as I was leaving. This is one of the many reasons I choose youfit over the others. Thank you!

Personal muy amable,necesita más cantidad de pesas ya que estas son insuficientes en los horarios picos como lo es de 6pm a 8pm en muchas ocasiones tengo que detener mi rutina por falta de discos de pesas,igual sucede con las mancuernas que además solo llegan hasta las 90 lbs y sólo hay una barra pequeña(barra que se lo ponen y quitan los discos)con la que hacer bicep y tríceps,por lo demás tiene un ambiente agradable y el señor de limpieza siempre la mantiene muy bien

The good: This gym seems small but it gets the job done. To get the best price you'll need to pay yearly.

The bad: They hit you with a hefty yearly bs fee (yes, every year).

Update: YouFit 2.0. Gym was remodeled. Lot of changes. They got rid of those ugly green and purple walls. They updated & added a few machines, bars, benches & accessories along with a new astroturf area (more on this soon).

Update: Music selection used to be much better. Not sure what happened but lately I've just had to bring my headphones. 🎶

It is upsetting every time you go and workout only to find the doors lock. This is not the 1st,2nd, or 3rd time. Th ere is no # to call when tis happens, there use to be a #, but it was taken down. Maikol, Shayne , are great. I have a another gym membership to crunch fitness, that does offer more. I still go out my way to come to the youfit here. They changed the atmosphere and made the gym one to enjoy and come too. The energy, the presence they offer are second to none enjoyable. They have transformed the gym single handly and i will continue to come here while they are here. This youfit is growing and i will continue to support it here while it grows while they are here.

I have been to several different gyms including La Fitness, Crunch Fitness, Planet Fitness … etc, but this has to be the best gym I have ever been to. This facility has exceptional staff, top notch equipment, and is kept in immaculate shape. If you want to be greeted with a warm welcome and be given all the tools to take your physique to the next level this is the place for you. Shayne, Maikol, and Javi make this place truly special. Son unos estafadores como Javier Ayala supuestamente el manager del lugar y es el más descarado de todos. Mi mamá fue a ese lugar y solo queria un mes de entrenamiento personalizado, el fue el que hablo con ella y no le explico absolutamente nada, le dijo que eran obligatorios dos meses y ella le dijo ok entonces solo lo quiero dos meses, y el solo no dijo nada más. Pasado los dos meses le cobraron el tercero, o sea estafa porque aupuestamente tenia que avisarle 30 dias antes para cancelar la membresía y tenia que ser por escrito y no se cuantas cosas mas y por supuesto en el rango de los 30 dias vuelven a cobrarle el cuarto mes. Y el fue capas de explicar algo tan simple como esto ?? Pues no ! Been going to this Youfit now for about 4 months and i love it. Really good environment and the workers are very nice. They always greet you with a nice smiles and somehow always remember ur name. The gym it’s self is great. They only have 2 squat racks but it’s usually open for use. People use and once finished, they clean it and move on. The machines and free weights are great as well. The fitting rooms have very good lighting and enough lockers to put your stuff in. They also have enough cardio equipment. And the best part of this is that it’s only 10 $ a month. Insane. I paid for the regular membership fee, i believe 30$ entre + 10$ but it’s worth it. Really. Every time i walk in I feel at home almost. Really recommend this place for beginners and even experienced gym rats. Remember, dont feel discouraged to walk in. Truth is, everyone is rapped around their own workout to even notice you. Don’t be shy to use things and learn to become stronger/fit. I felt scared too the first time, but i realized that people will always respect you just for being their and trying to become the best version of yourself. For me, Youfit has helped me with my mental health. I’m not going to write anymore because I feel like i’ve written enough already, but if you are considering going to a gym, Youfit is the place for you. Seriously.

I have been a member since they first opened. I have seen so many staff come and go, but overall they are not a bad gym. I would say I would like to see they open back up at 5am that’s my only issue as Covid changed there hrs and I am hoping very soon they can open back at 5am as many gym members miss the early morning work out and it worked with there schedules.

Awwww youfit.. In Richmond Heights Florida...lets see I want to be as neutral as possible.. One thing I notice is the staff is really young and don't really mingle with the patrons. No initiative, for new members example: some individuals wasn't or didn't really understand certain equipment . Staff to busy on their phones.. But in all a clean facility..

While covid19 was spreading Unfortunately most business places had to close, youfit was close 2 months. I when today to pay my outstanding balance, the manager there told me I WILL NOT GET THE MONTHS they where close credit because September was the last month and email was sent patrons.. NO EMAIL WAS SENT! NO ONE WANTED TO BUDGE ON GIVING ME BACK MY REFUND! No matter what that credit should have been given back to people who didn't meet this so call email deadline....I will NEVER give them my or my friends business again.......I paid cancel and left.......!

I agree with Roberto, this gym was our home away from home but after a change in management it doesn’t feel that way anymore, will definitely be switching to a new gym !

gym had a “home” vibe to it until a Recent switch in staff. Let’s be honest, no one expects too much out Gym staff/greeters so to be disappointed speaks volumes.

Invest in staff quality, besides that.. one thumb up.. sorta. In the end, it’s a youfit. What can I say.

I LOVE MY HOME GYM. The staff is great!! Tyra. Cleveland ... Marcos... 😁😁😁😁 I love coming here daily and i prefer the gym layout better than any other gym. They ROCK. I enjoy all staff members and they are all friendly. You can ask any staff member a question and they will help you and even show you how to do a movement correctly. Ive been to other locations but my home gym is the funk over them all.
