Unfortunately, the music at this gym is consistently and excessively loud, even during late-night hours. I’ve seen other reviews mentioning this issue, and while the owner often responds by suggesting members visit during off-peak times, I specifically avoid peak hours—I typically go after 8:00 PM. Despite that, the volume remains unreasonably high.

On multiple occasions, I’ve politely asked the front desk staff to lower the music. While they usually comply, the volume often goes back up shortly after—typically when another employee or the manager connects their phone to control it remotely. I’ve also noticed that when staff members are working out, they often raise the volume even more, which suggests that the music is being adjusted for their personal enjoyment rather than for the comfort of paying members.

This has been an ongoing issue for over six months, and despite repeated complaints from myself and others, nothing has changed. There have even been times I’ve had to cut my workout short and leave because not even noise-canceling headphones could block out the noise.

The music isn’t just loud—it’s frequently vulgar and inappropriate for a shared gym environment. Please don’t assume everyone wants to work out in an atmosphere that resembles a nightclub. If that were the case, we’d sign up for a loud group class advertised as such.

We are paying to be here, and we expect a respectful and professional environment. I sincerely hope this long-standing issue is taken seriously and addressed soon.

Absolutely the worst experience we’ve ever had.
My wife and I joined with the intention of training consistently and even started working with a personal trainer. Unfortunately, my wife was injured early on and could no longer continue. Despite providing the gym with a doctor’s note confirming she couldn’t continue training, they haven’t taken action to cancel the membership.

It’s been over three months since the letter was submitted, and they continue to charging without taking any action. The lack of communication and accountability has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Gym doesn’t care about normal members and wants to be a personal training gym. They have two areas that are closed during the week for personal training and apparently they close it off complete on the weekends even when there is no personal training. For this price I would recommend EOS. Everyone there is nice and the personal training doesn’t take away from the general pop. Also they have massage chairs that actually work and don’t make you upgrade to use them. They also have a way better cardio cinema. They continue to add to the gym vs taking stuff away like youfit. Youfit is trash. 🗑️

This gym on 72nd is atrocious. When we first started coming here its was great, but now its all about the personal training. Almost a 1/4 of the gym is closed on weekends and during the day for personal training. The signs only say the portion of the gym is closed for personal training not on the weekends. Apparently they close it completely on the weekends and allow now one to use it even when there is no personal training. For this price just got to EOS. I’ve also ran into issues with personal training taking up the entire middle turf even though they have two whole areas with turf. I would give zero stars if I could.

I’ve been a loyal YouFit member for over 10 years, but I can no longer stay silent about the ongoing issue at the Miami location on Sunset and 157th. For the third time now, I’ve walked into the gym only to find that none of the bathroom stalls in the women’s restroom are functioning.

This is not just inconvenient—it’s unprofessional, unacceptable, and inhumane. Female employees and clients rely on having access to a restroom during workouts, especially when hydration is critical. It’s shocking that such a basic amenity continues to be neglected.

What am I, or any woman, supposed to do? Am I expected to risk my safety and dignity by using the men’s restroom? It’s appalling to think members might be forced into such uncomfortable or unsafe situations simply to meet a basic need.

YouFit Corporate needs to step up and address this immediately—whether it’s hiring a plumber or making necessary upgrades. Loyal members like myself should not have to endure this level of neglect. Get this fixed before members are forced to take further action.

I truly hope someone in corporate sees this and takes responsibility. Enough is enough.

Beware of Unauthorized Charges and Poor Customer Service at YouFit!

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by YouFit Health Clubs. Despite canceling my annual membership in person at the 157 Ave and Sunshine location in Miami, Florida, back in 2014, I have been continuously charged for it ever since.

After discovering this billing error, I reached out to their customer service department on March 27, 2024, and spoke with a representative named Matthew (Employee Number: MSAM04). However, despite providing all the necessary details and assurances of prompt resolution, almost two weeks have passed without any progress.

Not only have I not received a refund for the unauthorized charges amounting to nearly $2,000, but I have also not heard back from any manager or senior representative regarding this matter. This demonstrates a clear lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction.

I urge anyone considering joining YouFit to be cautious of their billing practices and the poor customer service they provide. It's appalling that they continue to deduct funds from my credit card without authorization, and their failure to address this issue promptly is unacceptable.

In conclusion, my experience with YouFit has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and prompts YouFit to improve their practices and prioritize customer satisfaction in the future.

Their main goal is to get their meat hooks into credit card or bank account information. I have visited a lot of different gyms and this one is special! Brian and Ariel, the managers, are always there ready to help with a smile! The front desk, especially Gabby and Alexis always know my name and greet me with a smile and encourage me to have a great workout. The trainers are by far some of the best!!!!! Dee is excellent at being able to go ahead and tailor my needs for the day and my whole fitness goal. Jorge and Sebastian are amazing with their fun HIIT+ classes and always push you to do a little better in every class. The club is ridiculously clean and just amazing overall. I recommend this location to everyone.

When I spoke to an associate she told me that I would be charged $10 because I am cancelling my membership too close to my next billing date. I was fine with this fee and I paid it. I was charged my monthly payment two days later again. I called when the payment was pending on my credit card and they told me that it would not go through since I have already canceled the membership. When I called when the payment was posted I spoke to both an associate and a manager and neither one of them were able to help me or give me a refund. The manager told me that there was a misunderstanding and that I was always going to be getting charged for my February monthly payment. I understand that these miscommunications happen but it's very unprofessional to not want to help fix the conflicts for your customers that were caused because of miscommunication on their end and staff training on policies and procedures.

YouFit gyms offer the full range of equipment like 90degree bench, preacher bench, olympic bars/ ez-bars, etc. Only downside is the limited opening hours on the weekend. Most of the people working out here are courteous. As of January 2022, this location still offers the basic membership, which is about $15/ month (with administration fee, etc.) Reminder: they do want you to bring a towel at this location!

I went here randomly for a workout. This location is designed alot like the bird road location. The equipment looks very similar to most all youfit locations that I have seen. They had a non caffeinated citrulline drink that made my veins pop out, LOL I liked that and the workout was good. I was at a new location and was able to get a good one in at a mostly quiet gym. I do recommend and will come back

Es aceptable el lugar, hay momentos en la mañana q ponen música Rock fuera de lugar y tan alto q ni siquiera puedes escuchar tus audífonos realmente HORRIBLE esa parte de la musica, le falta aparatos y cada día aumentan más, eran 10 dolares subieron a 13 y ahora a 15 mensual adicional a los dos meses pagas 40, para lo que tienen no creo, algunos equipos viejos no todos. Si tuviese cerca mejores opciones me cambiaria.

They do not honor the schedule on Google maps and then you arrive and is closed. Other gym have better schedules, I'm really considering to go to a different l gym

Vendiendo son muy buenos pero a la hora de un reclamo, nadie hace nada ni en persona, ni por teléfono ni por email, me cobraron varios meses durante la pandemia, sin estar funcionando y cuando reclame y pedí mi reembolso nadie hizo nada, hasta me cobraron adicional por cerrar mi suscripción. I decided to start doing a routine of exercise believe me I could not have selected a better place than this location. Personnel are friendly and helpful. Place is super clean and organized. Machines are clean and well organized by sections. I will continue coming back

Most fraudulent gym membership in the history of gyms...during covid, their gyms were closed, but out of all gums they were the ONLY one to continue to charge customers without gibing a choice. Their website said you had to visit a vlub to cancel...they were closed....when you called their local ot national numbers....no one answered.....they knew they were ripping all their members off....there is no excuse for this! now that the gyms are open, they have the nerve to call and complain that when memebers have cancelled their accounts with their banks! If ANY business should close down for being a fraud and a true rip off it is Youfit! Please cancel golks and join a good honest gym like Planet fitness, this gym should not be allowed to exist!
