While I have been coming to this gym for years it’s quality has lowered. Most of the machines have something faulty or don’t work as intended. Many gym goers here have been waiting for over a year for stuff to get fixed but it has remained the same. I’ve always loved this gym but now i can’t hit certain muscles because their machines aren’t working like they used to or are wobble or screws are loose.

Woke up at 4:30 am to show up to a 5 am class that was still on their own app. I checked prior to posting and all her classes are still there. I get there and the trainer doesn’t even teach the class. It’s still there, just frustrating I could’ve gotten more sleep. I’m also quite frustrated that they can’t fix the issues in the cycle room. I canceled my membership once, then rejoined and was excited about the cycle class. Yet they can’t even buy a new cord they keep just giving the adapter piece which isn’t the problem there’s a short in the wire that connects to the actual speaker. You can clearly tell it’s a short but will they fix it?

I was so skeptical about joining a gym but I finally did. I am totally pleased with all their classes and the staff are all so nice and welcoming. My trainer Ethan Waters motivates me with all the exercises that benefits me. He is knowledgeable and kind and I look forward to joining his classes every Monday and Wednesday. I had a membership here a few months ago, and unfortunately my experience was very discouraging. From the start, the staff was extremely pushy about selling personal training programs, which took away from just being able to enjoy the gym. I eventually signed up for personal training, but the sessions were only average. What really crossed the line was when my trainer began asking me for gas money on the side, saying he would pay me back, which never happened. I still had 2–3 sessions left but decided to cancel altogether and move to another gym. Overall, the high-pressure sales tactics and unprofessional behavior made this a very negative experience for me. Since then, this whole experience has discouraged me from going to the gym at all.

My 17 year old son practically lives at Youfit in North Lauderdale. He goes to exercise almost every day. He loves the staff, the positive vibe and machines. He has even made some great friends there. On the night approximately 7pm, of Thursday April 17, 2025; after leaving this Youfit my son goes to unchain his electric scooter, which was chained to the outdoor bicycle rack, only to realize it was stolen. He automatically went into complete panic and devastation. Realizing his electric scooter was stolen, he reentered the gym only to be told by the staff, his electric scooter was not their responsibility, there are no cameras outside and he should call the police. My son was devastated by the non supportive staff, who went back to doing their job. He then called me upset, totally devastated and I ( his mom)came to pick him up. The next day after work, I decided to stop by this Youfit to talk to the manager. Upon talking to Judy, the manager, a very passive manager, she too said the company is only concerned about what happens inside the facility, there are no cameras on the outside and they aren’t responsible for my son’s stolen chained electric scooter. I told her my son’s name, she automatically knew who he was. I then told her I was considering canceling his contract due to the unsafe environment and their non supportive manner. This deeply saddens me, to say the least. You mean to tell me, my son who is deeply interested and loves coming to your facility, mind you, could have chosen any other exercise facility but chose this facility, has his chained electric scooter stolen from in-front of your facility, only to be told there are no cameras, they are not responsible and to call the police. I would only hope and pray this Youfit facility would consider installing cameras and care for the safety of their clients, both inside and outside their facility. They encourage a healthy lifestyle with exercise but yet won’t install outdoor cameras to keep their clients safe. My son is so devastated, he is scared to return to Youfit North Lauderdale. My son hasn’t returned to YouFit out of fear his new scooter will get stolen, company refuses to up up outdoor CAMERAS. SMH

I’ve been going to this location for 6 years. But today my car was broken into and there are still no cameras outside of the gym. My car was hit outside this gym before and I’ve complained about this but Youfit says they’re only responsible for what happens inside the gym. So they are not responsible for anything outside the gym. I’m not saying they should be held responsible but having a camera outside would greatly help your customers and help them to feel safe if a situation happens outside of your facility.

I have been going to this location with my husband for several years. This location helped me overcome my gym anxiety when I was first starting out, as the staff was very caring and knowledgeable. I have worked with their personal trainers in the past, and I utilize the weekly HIIT classes.

However, there seems to be a lack of communication between this YouFit team, which ultimately affects guests. This location has been telling me for several weeks now that I have a free personal training session on file. I tried to utilize this, as I am in the military and wanted to work with a trainer on my PT test technique due to my test in June.

I tried three times to utilize this session. The first time I called, they did not see the assigned time on file and forgot to call me back with updates/a solution. That trainer ended up calling me the next day to apologize about the double booking. Since this was the first time, I paid no attention to the mistake. However, by the second and third time of my session not showing, I knew there was a major lack of communication and care between the staff. I would show up to the front desk telling me that the trainers had already left for the day, as I would need to reschedule once again.

They asked me for a fourth time today if I wanted to reschedule, and I declined. I asked to speak with the manager, Tamas, as he knows me and my husband as frequent guests. He was too busy to talk, so after a 15-minute cool-down from a workout, I decided to leave without the conversation regarding my concerns.

It's pretty disappointing seeing this gym not care for their guests, as it seems they tend to worry about new numbers. I will go to this location if need be, but plan to utilize other locations moving forward.

I had a very disappointing experience with Carolyn, one of the personal trainers at this gym. Not only was she extremely rude, but she also spoke about me in another language that I clearly understand. This felt incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. To make matters worse, she actually yelled at me in front of other clients, which is absolutely unacceptable in a gym environment. As someone who has been a loyal member for over a year and pays for these services, I expect to be treated with respect. I’m both offended and upset that this type of behavior was allowed by the establishment. This experience has seriously made me reconsider my membership.

My membership allows me to use any YouFit location. The North Lauderdale gym is FAR and AWAY the cleanest, neatest, friendliest location I have visited. I've been going to this location for about a year and a half now. I originally switched from Crunch for a gym that's less crowded and closer to home. What I also found was a pleasant and welcoming staff, nice facilities, a cool little community, and THEE best trainer i could've asked for. Vinnie!

I was making steady gains at first working on my own and with the occasional advice from different trainers who work there. After some personal circumstances, I realized I needed a trainer. Someone who takes the time to get to know my goals, my limitations, and can set me on the right path. Vinnie has checked all those boxes and more. He's got a detail-oriented approach, patience of a saint, and crazy passion for the job! I was stuck in my bulking journey for a many months and in a comparatively short amount of time working with Vinnie, I've gotten up to my goal weight like it's nothing! Don’t come to this gym they’re inconsiderate rude have no customer service , they are unprofessional and cannot take constructive criticism on their poor lack of professionalism.
They don’t maintain their gym. The machines are broken and not lubricated properly . Thomas the “general manager “needs to be retrained and go to training and seminars on how to talk to customers. When a customer comes to you about an issue they’re having you don’t address the customer like they are your employee you don’t raise your voice, and you don’t have aggressive mannerisms towards a customer . Their employee was wrong we addressed with this “ general manager “ then was asked what should he do? We are not the employees employer … figure it out . And he seemed pretty racist him and Alex is it a coincidence that they’re both American and I’m Latina ? And his solution was yeah go complain to Corprate. I will happily don’t come here. This place is crooked!!!!!! Do not waste your money or business! I came here last year in November, paid money to start a membership and got covid 2 days later. Let them know that I would be canceling my membership due to getting sick and NOT wanting to be in public spaces. I was told that was fine and they’d handle it. Here I am 11 to 12 months later with this place sending me to to collections for $612.94. I NEVER USED YOUR MEMBERSHIP NOT ONCE!!!! SHAME ON YOU THIEVES! I HOPE YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE!!!!! CROOKS

We just signed up with Marc yesterday so we haven’t tried out the equipment or classes but we’re super excited to.

He was super helpful and friendly as we had a lot of questions about the different membership options and how everything works.

Definitely recommend asking for him if you stop by. There are all kinds of machines, childcare, and group classes.

Youfit Gym provides a decent workout environment with various equipment and amenities. Unfortunately, there have been recent car break-ins in the parking lot, and it's concerning that the gym has chosen not to install security cameras. This safety issue is a valid concern for members.

Don’t recommend this Gym to anyone they are Cons they are trying to collect money from me for a membership I cancelled on April 2023 By a Staff member that goes by the name Kevin they are saying I owe $150 and Something dollars Not nice to try and rip people off for charges that I shouldn’t have. My termination for youfit was done on April and I was clearly told by Kevin your staff Employee that I was good to go and that I am debt free. I don’t appreciate a Buisness that does not comply and breaks they own rules . I’m gonna make this a legal matter so that things like this don’t happen to anyone else .

This location has great equipment. There is always a machine available and they also have a daycare for families. I like the availability of the equipment and the smoothie. Overall it's a great gym.

How to get rich:
1. Charge a $60 yearly fee
2. Close down a month after you pay it
3. Laugh at requests for a refund
4. Charge you a fee to end your contract
5. Make the only solution paying a $250 dollar arbitration fee to file a case

After four years of being a loyal customer, they gave me two days notice before closing my YouFit in Miami gardens. When I tried to get my money back in person, they flatly refused.

Before you sign up, try contacting a national number. Notice you can't. There are other great gyms out there that won't rob you blind.

The gym and staff are exceptional. Best gym in south Florida. They have all the equipment you could possibly need and they have trainers there to give you advice and help you with whatever you need. Vinnie and Mathew are the best, these 2 trainers have helped me out for the past year. They have given me advice which I still use today, and they helped increase my workouts. If you ever need training, help or advice on anything fitness relating I would say to talk to Vinnie and Mathew.

I absolutely love coming to this gym. I go everyday almost and the staff are always so friendly. They go above an beyond when I need any help. Always the highlight of my day when I walk in every afternoon straight from work. They feel like my second family. The gym members at this gym as well are super friendly. This was not even my home Youfit location where I signed up, but I drive out of my way to go to this one because it is the most open floor plan and the best customer service out of all the locations I have visited.

Came in for my first time this week, and was pleasantly surprised. This gym has a cycle class with its own room, and HIIT room with classes and even a cinema room where you can run and watch a movie. There are saunas in the locker room I have yet to use but excited to do so! Plenty of machines and there was not a long wait if someone was using one. The machines are organized by muscle groups which made it easy for me as a beginner! Would definitely recommend to come by and check it out!
