I’m Anita, the gym is good my trainer Garrett is amazing he make the works very rewarding, if you are going I recommend him. I do body strength classes with TJ he is also amazing. If you decide on going ask for a full disclosure on your contract the gym doesn’t make it easy to cancel. Lack of information on that part. For a legal document as they told me, I should have gotten a copy and made to understand exactly what the contract holds. Did not want to quit that gym, it’s a good place with awesome trainers, but circumstances cause me to quit. Full disclosure needed not bits of information from multiple people. It would have saved me money. If you plan on canceling do it 2 to 3 months before. My mistake was trusting a policy that was designed to profit Youfit shareholders. It feels like entrapment. My 5 stars goes to my trainer…..

I only go here for Samantha and Kevin's class. There are never any weights left for the class. People scramble to share weights and it's ridiculous as other gyms are fully equipped for their classes. The room is barely ever clean. Samantha is the only zumba instructor that knows how to engage the class and makes everyone sweat with her routines. Wouldn't come here if it wasn't for them two.

This place is funny. So i just moved back down here to SoFlo after graduating from law school and currently studying for the bar. I also just got a small job to keep me afloat, while I’m couch surfing with family members until i can become a practicing attorney. I work in City Place, so i was looking for a gym not too far from there so that i can wake up early, work out, and head straight to work. I read the reviews of this place and I’m like nah i won’t believe it. People are just too sensitive. Let me just tell you, the reviews were right 😂😂😂 i sign up for the 3 day free pass to check the gym out to see if it was bad. It’s not as nice and spacious as YouFit in Boynton, but it’ll do. The problem is with the workers. I walk in and tell the workers straight up im here to check this place out before i commit to a membership. At the front desk was this girl and she just begins to tell me how great the gym is and gives me a tour. Fine. Then she begins to tell me how i need to sign up for a membership. Sure im considering it. Then she tells me i need to do personal training. I’m like no im good. She then proceeds to talk a million miles a second and tries to convince me to get a personal trainer. I tell her all that sounds good and dandy, except i can’t afford $300 a month because im working a small job and studying for the bar, when i become a big time attorney, i wouldn’t mind spending that cash. She proceeds to try and convince me for another 30 minutes. I’m like i hearrrr youuuuuuu i know the benefits of having a trainer to push you. I just can’t do it until like after September! Then she tells me i need to sign up for a membership today. I was like why? I’m on the free 3-day pass… she’s like if you sign up on the first day of your pass and you do the tour, you either get the annual fee waived or you get a half off discount (i don’t remember which one she said). That sounded good to me, because in January i actually had a YouFit membership for like 3 months and cancelled it cuz i thought i was moving away, so i already paid the annual fee. So i tell her okay I’ll do the month to month plan. She then proceeds to push and pester me about the personal training again. I proceed to tell her again i just need to get a better job after i pass the bar and then I’ll do it. She tells me she will give me a discount and that the best membership tier is included in the price. I’m like okay cool but i still can’t afford it RIGHT NOW just give me like 3 months and I’ll do it. Right now i just want to do light cardio and weights on my own before i go hard. She finally sees that i wont sign up and gets an attitude. She pretends that she has something to do and leaves me at the desk and calls this boy to come sign me up 😂 he’s filling out the application and he’s nice, so i don’t mind that I’m dealing with him now. When it comes to the payment screen, he tells me about the annual fee. I tell him that she said she will waive it because i signed up on the first day of my free pass. He was like oh ummm let me go check. Then he walks back to her at the front desk and he’s like yeah no. We don’t have the power to waive fees. I’m like 😂😂😂 okay fine whatever. I wasn’t mad cuz the reviews warned me that these ppl will try and bamboozle you. So it’s my fault for not believing them. The gym itself isn’t bad. Girls locker room is kinda small, but it’ll get the job done if you want to work out here, just don’t get played by the staff!

I've been going to this gym for 8 years. I've been on deployments with the army reserve multiple times during those years. I come back home and step into this gym and I feel at home. This gym honestly is not the most luxurious or up to date. But what it lacks in aestetics it makes up for in personality. The staff are friendly but not pushy, cool, and professional. The equipment is good and there's alot of it. The space is amazing very roomy. It can get crowded at times but compared to other gyms it's nothing(have you been in crunch at 1700 ?Jesus christ) anyway sign up, meet some people workout, do your thing.

Now, it would make sense for fees to charge up if one was still using the gym without paying their month in, however, is it really necessary add fees for inactively. Really? This place is TERRIBLE. They signed me up, we spoke about all gym policies. I signed up for many gyms in my life and I asked them what the cancellation policy was. They mention 30 days notice, very standard. I ended up calling to cancel and now I’m in a year agreement. This was never explained to me and of course they expect you to read the 30 page agreement instead of just explaining to me the truth. The place is SO DIRTY. The machines are rusted! The staff doesn’t clean the bathrooms. Everytime I went there they had trash on the floor and toilets unflushed, gross. Avoid this place at all costs! Staff doesn’t even greet you. Please avoid and learn from me!

We had a very bad experience in this gym … our car got stolen from this place , they let homeless people join there facilities with any stolen driver license and use the gym for free as their bathroom and facilities to shower and while in the bathrooms they go through all the lockers and get anything they can … that’s how they stole our car keys and stole our car with a lot of electronics that we had in it … the gym took no responsibility and the police did not do a good job either … this place is no good

This gym was super clean when I first started. Now I’m seeing a lot of trash not being taken out every night and bathrooms dirty. Not sure why they stop requiring their workers to clean. Outside in the parking lot has trash everywhere. Makes the place not look pleasing.

The time that I go, it’s really slow and all machines are available. I love how all the machines are set up. Plenty of parking. They don’t have big fans like planet fitness which made me super happy bc I hate being cold at the gym.

Okeechobee and Military location in West Palm Beach, FL. For 2 days now there have been no paper towels and they just say, we're out. They have signs asking to wipe the machines down but that's not possible without paper towels. Workout areas are also not kept up. I would give this a higher ranking just because of the instructors in the class, but upon numerous requests, I have asked for not only better conditioned hand dumbbells for upstairs, but also heavier ones! I have also requested numerous times to have all the ceiling fans in the classroom upstairs calibrated so there is proper circulation Many times people have felt very nauseous and overheated because there’s only two functioning fans at best! By the way, I’ve been a member for over a year and it shouldn’t take over a year of asking Management and the people at the front desk to have these simple request met. YouFit is the Spirit airline of gyms. The worst. Went to get the $10 offer a month with a annual fee of $58. Ok. The sale rep said to get the 2 month free and it’s $27 after that which I can change it to $10. WELL that wasn’t true. You’re locked in once you sign up! After paying the annual fee of $58 an additional $27 was withdrawn from my credit card.

The manager agreed that the rep sold it incorrectly because the new sale that was launch. So he was going to credit $27 and was going to change it. That NEVER HAPPENED! No one called me back and changed it. Kept calling and nothing. Gone personally and they never have a manager.

Please read below***
You have to call customer service and send a file proof of reason to cancel the gym membership via email, takes 5-7 business to process, they send you a invoice document stating you have 1 business day to CALL-IN and pay the cancellation fee or the payments will recontinue??? No shame.

ABCFITNESS is a joke, don't belive me go to the BBB for proof. Not how it use to be 10 years ago where you walk in and cancel, not its hell to pay for cancelling a damn near $11 gym is laughable and infuriating process now. I hope I spared you a headache.

If you do choose this gym, the gym it self is great but if you cancel stay on their ahh and stay on top of your emails. Good luck.

Signed up a couple of weeks ago. I like the equipment. My StrongLifts 5X5 program requires Olympic bars and weights. I like that the have a heavy bag for my cardio days. The gym is supposed to be a positive uplifting friendly environment. The Saturday Female morning trainer does a poor job exhibiting that energy to members that do not attend her trainings. While writing this review, I have just been warned to not cross paths with that specific trainer by another gym member. The OKEECHOBEE RD location is truly something else. I actually initially enjoyed using the gym facilities for the few months I was registered there but there was a payment issue with my bank and as soon as I was alerted of the issue I called and paid my balance as a lumpsum of approx $140 over the phone directly to Youfit . Since I did that payment, it has been hell to either reactivate my gym membership OR cancel but they keep billing me. I was told only a manager can fix the issue and I kept trying to meet with a manager but every time I went they were busy in meetings but the front desk staff would verbally assure me that the matter would be settled internally to have my account cancelled . I really wanted to settle this amicably but now have no choice but to take this to Youfit Corporate and BBB. Both Managers Jaime and Chris did not even try to help to resolve the issue. To be honest I think their technical system is flawed because it puts you in a headlock to constantly pay monthly even when you want to cancel. I will update again after speaking with Youfit Corporate.

I feel like overall this gym is pretty great! New gym equipment coming in and the front desk staff is always super nice.
I gave it 4 stars because the bathrooms aren’t very clean when I get there in the afternoon/evening and it can be hard to find weights (specifically plates) because they don’t seem to get reset weekly/nightly.

Wasn't too happy when I got hit with some unexpected fees on sign up, but when trying to cancel almost a year later the guys working here had my back trying to help me through the process, which was difficult after some recent changes to the cancellation process and dealing with an overseas call center processing it. People that care and will fight for you are worth paying a little extra for.

Royal makes me enjoy Youfit at this location and he is the main reason that I continue to go here because I LIVE FAR! He always has positive energy and is the most helpful person you’ll know! Not only is he willing to help but he is happy too. He also educates me about different workout machines. If you are new to the gym or looking for a gym - come to this location! He will make you feel welcome and at home.

I like how it’s updated but they don’t have platforms for squat benches / deadlifts like all the mode advertisements you’ve seen going around on social media. Also. Giving them a low rating because they HAVE a room equipped for child care yet don’t offer child care. That’s insane to me. They keep saying at the moment but it’s a year already no child care. Please hire someone and allow families to go to the gym with ease. Hope you appreciate and implement this feedback.

Like working out in a sauna. The AC must either be wildly inefficient or they don’t use it. No fans either, so basically no air circulation. They also recently got rid of all the treadmills that had fans on them…hopefully they replace them asap. If you like feeling hotboxed while doing your cardio this gym is for you. The temperature alone is making me consider going to Planet Fitness.

Their training session is really disappoint I don’t know about their other locations but the one at okeechobee and military needs to coordinate their staff/better management

I signed my wife up for personal training sessions and it has been a terrible experience

She started training with Kairi and just after her first session we started getting calls from the manager to reschedule her sessions saying that the trainer was on vacation or he was not coming in for that day and when we come in to work out Kairi was always there waiting for her to start her session so we didn’t understand what was going on and this happened like four times in two weeks now, Kairi is no longer working here and she was assigned a new trainer, new trainer scheduled her for Monday and Thursday, we came in Monday and he totally forgot he had a session with her until we approached him and well, he trained her that day and Thursday we come in on time and trainer was not there, he comes in late and goes straight to train with another person and again we approached him and he just tells another trainer to work with her and I don’t think this is the right way to help her archive her goal.

Monthly payments is another issue.
Only one option, you have to be enrolled for auto renewal with a bank account we was not give others option. when we signed up for the first month and we asked about cancellation policy we was told they would go over all the information after signing all documents which they never did
Now with all this terrible experience we tried to cancel subscription and of course they are very happy to explain their cancellation policy and turns out you have to cancel your subscription 30 days before the auto renewal happens. And that we could stop going to the sessions we had paid for plus they will still run the auto renewal.

I don’t recommend their personal training sessions at all. They are very friendly when you first sign up but very rude when have a complaint or try to cancel the subscription.

I love this gym! Went in a little nervous about how to start my new healthy lifestyle and a nice girl named Jaimy came and helped me out. She offered me some advice and told me if I keep going she can help me with my process. I will definitely be going back. This is the type of encouragement that more gyms need from employees.

Great staff! However, the gym is very very dirty, super Dusty, and unsanitized. I wish they would maintain it clean more frequently. I believe gym's need to be spotless super spotless .... I'm actually considering canceling my membership because I am allergic to dust and I get allergic reactions every time I'm there. But overall great management.

0/5 star experience, Jaime and Chris, both mangers for this location are uneducated and do not respect customers time. I called multiple times to resolve my situation and was told I would receive a call back and never did. Management teaches employees to lock customers into a contract without their consent to increase sales. Would never return here.

We came while visiting to try their 3 day free pass were really satisfied with our experience! There's a wide array of equipment to use, including free weights, plate loaded machines, and cardio equipment. The equipment seems pretty kept up with and it also helps a ton that they make sure the people working out are cleaning off their equipment. Staff was extremely nice and helpful and we look forward to our next few days here!
