TL,DR: They will lie to you to get you signed up, then charge you left and right. DO NOT RUSH INTO SIGNING ANYTHING.

Beware the specials and deals, as they sometimes just aren't real. Do not let the employees fast-talk you, they might keep using the idea of "family" to get you to sign up. They will tell you one thing about a discount, then charge you for something else after they have your card/bank info. Basically a scam.

I was repeatedly told "no hidden fees", but was charged over $50 to sign up, as part of the "$1 signup special" that I bought. No one mentioned the charge until it was already time to sign for the payment. They literally waited until after I swiped my card.
I was repeatedly told that I was making a one-time payment for my personal-training sessions, but I've now lost $200 in monthly payments for sessions I never knew I was buying.
Worst of all, I have no recourse for any of this, other than in-person cancellation, due to the contract that I was tricked into signing under false pretenses.

Edit: Responding to owner's response:
The problem is not that you didn't meet my expectations. The problem is that you knowingly told me false information in order to take my money away from me. You misrepresented what I was purchasing and signing for, and you misrepresented the cost. When I asked for clarification, you lied to me. And yes, I'm sure you'll "use this as a learning experience" and "improve" your practice of deceiving customers.

This is the best gym in Tallahassee. The entire staff has such a positive attitude and is extremely welcoming to everyone that walks in the door.... no matter how early in the morning it is haha. The gym is extremely clean and a big. I also love how it isn't overly crowded to the point where there is a line for the machine or equipment that you want to use unlike Crunch.... cough cough.... So glad I made the switch!

Every experience I have had with gym chains has been negative. From poor customer service to unwarranted bills and extreme difficulty cancelling a membership, big gym chains can't help but find ways to screw up. YouFit Pensacola is the exception. Their customer service is the reason for this 5-star review. Yallie, the assistant general manager, was an immense help to me when I was having trouble sorting out uncalled for charges to my account. She was always available to call, and even called me on a holiday with good news that my charges were settled. If you want an affordable gym but don't want to be screwed over by the usual gym chain runaround, this is your spot.

Super awesome gym! Super friendly/helpful staff, and great management! They have all of the equipment I need, the price is DEFINITELY worth it for what they have to offer and they also have a great trainer (Aubrey) she is very knowledgeable, and is very professional and is a nice and fun trainer, and I would highly recommend her services. Also, coming from someone who has went to a lot of gyms, this is definitely one of the cleanest, if not THE cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. I would strongly recommend becoming a member at this gym

It’s not often that one finds a place that’s good for personal mental strength, necessary activity for health reasons and achieving personal goals all at the same time. Such is the you fit gym on Pensacola street tallahassee Fl. Two employees that stand out as doing what I described above are CeeJay and Yawlie. Both of these employees truly care about the members and cheer them along whenever a goal is met be it big or small. The celebration ethic and support are real with NO hidden agendas. Each time I go to this gym I am cheered on, supported, and encouraged to keep going. CeeJay even notices my success and continues to do just that. Little things like greeting me at the door, making sure I stay hydrated, helping me stay active, and more only touch the tip of the mountain of things that both CeeJay and Yawlie do on a continual basis. CeeJay and Yawlie are both genuine and give me their best each time I go to workout.

I went to the gym for the first time in really ever. Being a curvy girl I was way uncomfortable but the staff were great and really helped. Landon who I believe is the GM or should be the GM was really helpful in explaining how to use the equipment correctly. 10/10 will be going back! 😄

Horrible customer service. Way over priced, extra charges out the wazzoo. The location on Pensacola is a lyme card only, meaning you pay double for a facility with no benefits at all compared to any other gym. It’s a tiny place with a small amount of gear. You’re probably thinking “well if it’s lyme member only then there’s probably really nice facilities I can use like showers, pools, saunas, steam room, SOMETHING ANYTHING!” And you’d be wrong. There is nothing. They are consistently doing what ever they can to squeeze their members for every last drop of capital and they aren’t willing to provide anything but the barebones basics of a gym even though you are paying for an exclusive and high quality gym experience. You’d get more from a freakn planet fitness and it would be a third of the cost. Overall they are an awful company, they have no regard for the actual experience of their consumers, and even if you are gym rat who spends four hours a day in the gym you still would be able to get better facilities for a better price elsewhere. Literally a gym scam for rich college kids who notice YouFit shoving their greasy grubby greedy hands into your pockets to dig out your loose change. 0/10

By far, the worst gym I have ever been to. DIrty, unprofessional, rude staff, no leadership, cant speak to anyone in corporate, double charging on your account, if you have to go there- do not consent to reoccurring charges and DO NOT give your bank account info. If you give your credit card, call the credit card and let them know that they have to obtain consent prior to charging anything from ABC*YOUFIT ps... youfit corporate customer service in only email and they do NOT respond.

Pros: Gym equipment well maintained and clean. Friendly staff! Cons: They haven't cleaned the bathrooms ie showers, locker room floors, and drinking fountains in over a month! When I first joined I realized on the third day the same bar of soap and grime was on the shower floor. Asked
management how often they clean the showers and they said everyday and we will get right on it. Well its now over a month and they still haven't cleaned the bathrooms even after asking! The drinking fountains where wiped down only once in the last month.

Coming from a poor experience with Planet Fitness in the past, it was very refreshing to find a gym where I felt comfortable and welcomed. My personal staff interactions have always been pleasant and helpful. Especially in this trying time of COVID era that we are in, the gym is kept clean and staff members are nice about enforcing the proper restrictions and guidelines. I love this location the most out of all the Tally locations. Spacious area, lots of equipment, friendly staff, & they keep it sanitized. Bathroom is always clean & doesn’t look trashed like I’ve seen at a lot of other gyms. Spacious bathroom/locker room. The showers also have stall doors that lock rather than just the curtains, very convenient! I’d recommend this location to everyone!

The rep told us they didn’t do the $10 plan anymore. Only the $24.00. Then they told us they don’t have the key tags anymore you have to download the app which made me think they were scheming. Why not have convenient key tags anymore? I don’t know why they would only have a $24.99 plan when they don’t have anything in this gym. Small space. Hardly anything for abs. It’s supposed to include massage beds (like planet fitness) BUT THEY DON’T EVEN HAVE MASSAGE BEDS. I also don’t like the bald white guy (who looks like Lord Voldermont). He is horrible. Canceling membership and going to planet fitness.

It is always crowded, no matter what time of day. On top of that, they only have two flat benches and two squat racks, which you usually have to wait for. They used the gym space very poorly. There are more treadmills and stair climbers than I can count (which are never full), and the limiting weightlifting equipment is always being used (more waiting time). There is also a lot of empty space they could utilize, too.

This Youfit reminds me of Leach in the worst way. It is always packed. The space was poorly used. I never see the staff clean the gym ( at the other locations the staff consistently clean the floor and equipment due to COVID). The machines are not socially distanced. I could reach out and touch the girl next to me on the treadmill. In fact, nothing and no one in the facility are socially distanced. I will not go back to this location during COVID. It is a recipe for getting COVID from irresponsible college students ( I am a college student).

The paperwork is poorly communicated. They add in extra charges and fees. I was charged for a month payment even after canceling my membership. I was told I was signing up for a 3 month membership. They not only did not cancel my membership after 3 months, but continued to charge me for an additional 2 months after I canceled. They also neglected to mention the annual fee that occurs 60 days after you start your membership. And to “cancel” the 3 month membership I started I had to pay them a $10 cancellation fee. Highly recommend staying away from this gym the employees play it off as if they can do nothing about it.

In all honestly the gym isn’t bad, I just think they didn’t take an advantage of there open space. The gym is always packed, and every machine is always being used. Literally half the place is filled with cardio machines which are never being used as much as the weights are. 3 stars untill you guys make use of your space and not use up needed space for cardio machines when you have plenty.

No one showed me around on my first day, I had to keep asking staff at the front about the gyms covid mitigation procedures but they could only tell me to wear mask to machine then take it off. Watched several members walking around with no mask and not cleaning machines behind their selves, saw no employees cleaning only talking to each other for over an hour and half. There is no key ring so I have to carry my keys around unless I put a lock on the locker I was told or I can carry a gym bag I was told. It would be nice if you could put more cleaning supplies out for members to access more easily. The gym tempture is hot not enough air flow.
When I went around 6am the other morning I did see a lady walking cleaning that was nice to see. Maybe it depends on the time, day and staff on the cleaning. The machines are new and that is really nice! The staff greets you when you walk in and leave! The gym is not bad there are many positives just a few improvements that might could be made😁
