I have been trying to cancel my membership with several failed attempts, when I thought it was resolved I see another withdrawal from my account charging me again, I went back again paid the cancelation fee of $10 for the second time. The problem was I told and wrote my wife name down which created 2 accounts ($50 per month) one in my name and one in her name, so they never cancelled her membership, this was explained to me by a young man who researched the issue and noticed the problem which will cancel the membership as I requested(2years later). I told them why are you charging me during the first outbreak of the COVID when no one was using gyms due to CDC guidance, the answer was you did not cancel the membership by paying $10.

The music playing here is absolutely horrendous and way too loud! (At least in the evening when I go). And nothing but rap songs. Can the owner choose a better mix of various music and maybe turn it down slightly?? Seriously , its the worst. I know the kids love thier rap but for real. Everyone is wearing headphones anyway.

I found out that this gym was charging me for tanning beds that were removed almost a year prior to me coming in. So I was charged for equipment that didn't even exist. I canceled, paid the cancelation fee, and was forced to pay a whole new year of membership fees and a whole new month of service fees because they needed 10 business days to "cancel the membership". Not once was i offered reimbursement for the tanning beds that didn't exist anymore . Charging for things that don't exist is illegal!!

On my first visit no one showed me how to work the equipment when I looked at the front desk no one was there to ask I left the next morning I had an appointment for a training session at 10:00 which I paid for and I got a text saying my 7:00 appointment had changed to 7:30 around 9:00 I called and spoke to a lady saying my appointment wasn't until 10:00 and that I didn't feel I needed a trainer when I showed myself she said why didn't I ask for help when I tried no one was at the front desk so I told her I wasn't going to pay anyone for training myself and asked for a refund she said she had to ask the manager when she came in, but didn't think I would get one ok but I will not be back. I'm still waiting for that call

A bit frustrating how, like many gyms, the hidden prices and charges. It feels like like overkill… enrollment CHARGE (maybe waived); monthly fee (basic level is limited so you often up charge); annual fee (ALWAYS); need to cancel? THEY CHARGE FOR THAT TOO. Want to pause?…. Charge.
Plus the primary reason I joined the gym was the sauna, which hasn’t been working since Sept! This alone is worth my $20 bucks a month and the frivolous other expenses I could look past.
Just disappointing. Thankfully home gyms are becoming so top of the line.

YouFit recently changed ownership due to a near bankruptcy due to COVID-19. My wife had a gym training membership that was not being used due to the epidemic. During this time, we decided to cancel the membership but were told that the existing gym training credits would not expire as a courtesy. However, we recently tried to use the credits and were told that the credits had expired and that they would not honor their word since ownership had changed. Since management cannot keep to their promise, I have cancelled my membership entirely. This is a word of warning to any members.

The gym at this location was great and had no problems with it. However, I did sign up at a location off of Hillsborough in which I cancelled my membership in June of 2020 during the height of COVID. After reviewing my most recent credit card statement, I started noticing a charge from Crunch fitness totaling up to ~$100 over the course of a month. I have never stepped foot into a Crunch Fitness and certainly never joined the club. When talking with Crunch manager, I was informed that they took over all YouFit clients. I was never informed of 1. YouFit on Hillsborough was closing, 2. my membership would be reactivated, 3. my membership would be transfered to another company. From my understanding, YouFit at the Hillsborough location has sold my personal information and credit card information to another company. This is a horrible business practice and more so, this is theft. Not even a single form of communication has been sent to myself from YouFit or Crunch to inform this change. Now that society is starting to become more normalized I would like to join a gym but after this fraudulent behavior from YouFit, I will not be rejoining this gym. To make matters worse, you can not talk to anyone to rectify the situation as YouFit representatives tell me to contact Crunch as it is no longer their problem. I just wanted to share this experience for all members and potential members to be aware that their information may be shared to other companies and can result in financial losses. I encourage any corporate member to shed some light on this matter. As of right now, I just feel robbed.

After joining just before the COVID - 19 pandemic hit I continued to pay and remain a member to wait and see, but after months and months of paying in full and not attending I requested to cancel. Since an in-person cancellation was not possible and in person post office was not either I emailed. I called. After MONTHS of this I got an email back apologizing and after a few more weeks, a refund of those months. I was told I'd be put on a $5 a month pause. After one month I was charged again in full and again called, emailed, and waited. After three more months I got another apology and a partial refund. I asked to cancel again. No reply. Months and countless emails later, no reply. Until now. Now I get aggressive emails from what seems to be corporate that if I do not pay what is said to now be owed I will be billed and billed and billed again. No name or ID number on the emails, just misspellings and aggressive language. Seriously, I knew the company was struggling but this is beyond appalling and such a disappointment. I sure hope taking advantage of people during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC if worth it.

Unfortunately had to make the decision to cancel my gym membership due to a location not being near where I am moving. Jaliene (maybe spelled different) was quick, friendly, and did not push any renewal or “freezing” of my membership. The whole process was painless and she made my experience very simple! Wish every gym was customer obsessed like this one felt like talking to a friend!

0 stars. Quite surprised that they make people come in to cancel their membership due to "signature needed". The only concession offered was to mail, which of course adds a cost on top of the $10 cancellation fee charged even if cancelling after your month has been paid for. For a company claiming to be about people's health, their cancellation policy sure seems to say otherwise. Once I am comfortable with joining a gym again, it certainly will not be Youfit.

I was charged for my membership through the COVID-19 shutdown.

I contacted them via email, an acceptable form of contact per their marketing email, and just never got a response. Contacted them on Facebook, another acceptable form of contact per them, and didn't get a response until I followed up a second time. Was finally told I could send in my cancellation via mail and get a refund for those months. Cancellation was processed, but no refund ever came. Followed up again, never heard back. Truly unconscionable when consumers everywhere had compromised incomes and were struggling through hard times.

I was charged for months that I couldn't use the gym. I couldn't resolve my issue via phone at the time because no picked up. I was infuriated when I was told that "we the members" had to pay the staff that was working during that time( that's your decision not mine and I'm not liable for it!) I'm calling b.s. on your employees"working" because if they were THEY WOULD HAVE ANSWERED THE PHONE. You also took to long to reopen so went to powerhouse gym as of late May. The employees of this gym will follow you around if you step outside the duct tape box without a mask and tell you to put it on, meanwhile they say nothing about members not wiping off the machines when they are finished. All the while they are more concerned about hanging out at the front desk versus using their time to wipe down the machines and clean equipment. Paying customers are forced to stop during their workout and adjust if it is not on par with the staffs ruthless rules and regulations. Harassing people while they try to workout is a horrible approach and definitely made my wife and I super uncomfortable.

This is a nice gym. I moved here from Las Vegas and due to no PF near me I took a chance on this gym and I must say it's pretty nice. The staff are always nice, manager that I met was pretty funny and nice. I come here early in the mornings so I cant speak for peak times but I've never had to wait on a machine and they have plenty of things to keep you busy on arm or leg day. I'll probably stay a lime card member as long as I still live in Carrollwood.

First I’ll say I don’t have a pass but I’ve been going recently with my friends and I love the entire environment of the gym and the staff is amazing. I remember Gretchen in particular being an absolutely outstanding worker with a really nice personality. She’s the only one I see cleaning the machines in places most people wouldn’t or helping any members that need assistance. In the little time I’ve spoken with her I’ve been motivated to get a membership the second I can and go to the gym more! I’m happy to see such amazing workers, and it’s not just her, I just don’t remember all their names. I always enjoy my workouts here. Everything is very clean and relatively maintained. Body pump is my #1 fave group fitness class ever and Jill does an especially great job on Saturdays.
