I’ve emailed corporate but after not having a response back I needed to
share what happened so it doesn’t happen to other women. This has nothing to do with the equipment or gym itself but the culture and especially how the manager, Thomas behaved.

Oct 30th I was finishing my workout with some abs on the machines by the corner. It was empty for a while and I cleaned and set myself up. Not long after an old man came over and just stood by me, staring angrily. Usually if someone wants to work in or whatever they’ll try to get someone’s attention, wave? Idk he just stared at me, I thought he was dizzy or just weird so I ignored it and did a set. He was still there so at this point I took my headphones out and said, “I’ve just begun idk if you want to use this machine(?) it may take me like 10 mins or so” I threw out a random number, if anyone uses these machines you know you’re there for 3 mins tops. He then says he needs to do one set, it’s his last one. So I immediately get off the machine. My family had covid so I make sure to clean the handles and everything else so I told him I had cleaned it thoroughly, I assumed he had to go quickly with the way he was acting. So I turned around to watch the music videos on the TV and he starts waving at me, I look back and ? he says that my form was wrong. At this point I’ve been resting for over 5 mins I really wanted to finish my set so even though I’m being nice and listening to him I politely say I’m not too interested in
changing my form, thanks. I put my headphones back in. I hear his screaming over my music, “you need to smile! you’re so rude!” idk what else. I ignore it though I think we all have enough drama that we go to the gym to detox. After some time I see on the corner of my eye he’s finished, so I walk away from him to get some paper towels, assuming he’d just grab his stuff and leave. But when I turn around I see this man 1 inch from my face and he’s whispers that “he’s been around a long time and has never met a (w)itch as big as me and how halloween is tomorrow??” I got freaked out I honestly thought he was going to hurt me so I loudly tel him to get out of my face.

This is where it all went wrong. I see a man running over and I thought “Thank God” at least someone is coming to stand up for me. It was the manager and as I’m trying to explain, the man basically tells him I wasn’t letting him work in? I tell him that it’s not what happened, I start explaining the situation and he cuts me off by loudly telling me that I’m cutting HIM off while he’s trying to explain gym etiquette and YouFit’s culture about how we work-in. Since I mentioned I had told this man I may be on the machine for x amount of minutes (mostly bc he never even said anything) he then cuts me off and says “well you just gave yourself away- we work in here you don’t tell someone it’s gonna take 10 mins.” the creep then tells the manager that he “doesn’t have time for this” and they fist bump. Honestly so barbaric.

I then try to tell him, the problem was this man’s aggression and calling me names and this part is poetic-
he takes out his phone from his pocket, pretends like he got a call, and walks away from me to who I assume was his GF. Which I made contact with and let me just say, we exchanged a look that was the epitome of “ick.” Such a weird display of dominance in such an immature manner.

Abhorrent behavior, I’ve never felt so vulnerable, harrassed and honestly profiled. He was trying to make me out to be a “Karen” when all that happened was this weird bonding with the Bro-culture that makes going to the gym so hard

Needless to say I am never coming to
this gym again. It sucks because it’s a healthy place to go and it’s making my life better but I cannot reason giving this location any $ or feeing like the management would advocate for my safety.

Again nothing wrong w the gym; but if you’re gonna get bullied, they’re not gonna care.

Feel free to check your cameras, it happened around 2:00-2:30pm. Please hire better people.

So today was my first visit at this location wasn’t there more than 20 minutes when I was doing a dumbbell set on the flat when all the sudden a gentleman get in front on me put his backside in front of my face and start do dumbbell kickbacks so I got up and waited for him to finish thinking he didn’t see me when he left I proceeded to do me set he jumped in front of me again while I was doing my set I drop the weight and told him he needs to get out of personal space then he started laughing and talking to himself like crazy person the guy next to told me he did the same thing to him two weeks ago please check your video it happened on October 30 between 8:05 am and 8:30 please pull video and take action on this issue I also have video of the incident which I emailed to corporate

cancellation process is a scam, cant cancel online, cant cancel in person at gym, had to open some online account not even on their website, and then call some phone line they have, at that point cancellation is finally done( and that's without a contract, on a month to month membership). They seem to be so desperate for customers' money that they're willing to do this to on average prolong/prevent some people from cancelling that would've done so with an easier online one click online/instore cancellation method and stay profitable that way, or increase their profit margin a bit, by scamming their customers, thumbs up youfit great business modell

I mostly use the lifting platforms to practice my OLY lifting, dropping the bar etc. Nobody bothers me or tells me anything, my only complaint is that they don't have enough heavy dumbbells, only up to 90lbs. Please bring in the 100s-150s. Would be greatly appreciated.

Based on my overall experience, this gym is not recommended, and I would advise prospective members to seek another establishment with more professional staff and a better-controlled environment.

While Youfit is one of the most affordable gyms in the area (red flag), offering memberships for a low monthly cost, this budget option comes at a significant cost to the workout atmosphere. The gym frequently feels less like a fitness center and more like a babysitter service for a large group of young, high-school-aged individuals. These "gangs of kids" often congregate around equipment, monopolizing machines and talking loudly as if they are in a South American telenovela. This makes it incredibly difficult for other members to get a proper workout.

Management, including a manager named Diana (I think her name is Diana - short older woman with black hair who does nothing but stand behind the desk), appears to be quite lazy and has been unresponsive to these issues. There is a complete failure to monitor the kids and enforce gym rules and etiquette, which directly contributes to the frustrating environment. This is particularly notable given Youfit's policy that members aged 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent, while those 16 and older can be unaccompanied. The lack of supervision, especially for the younger members, suggests a significant gap between the gym's stated policy and its actual practice.

For these reasons, a serious lifter or anyone looking for an efficient, distraction-free environment would likely find this gym's atmosphere frustrating. Alternatives with better staff and a more focused community, such as Crunch Fitness, LA Fitness, GRIT60 Fitness, or CrossFit RGTC in the Weston/Sunrise area, may be better options. I have moved my membership elsewhere and could not be happier where I am, finally I can get a good work out in under an hour without having to wait on some kid who is chatting away with his amigos and holding on to the rack or machine.

<8/6/2025: You ask me to "reach out to you" in your response to my review so you can "address my concerns", Respectfully that is a lot of BS, you are pandering to potential and current users of your establishment, I know that, you know that and hopefully anyone who has half of a brain cell knows that, how about this; Hire a competent manager (current one is useless)/floor staff and supervisise the unruly/disrepectful kids that patronize your business and actually be a fitness center not just a front that is a cheap babysitting service to those parents who are unable to do so. Until then I will and probably many others who have the same issues I have will train somewhere else.

Do not come here. It's indeed a nice gym, but I tried cancelling a second membership on my account (no longer needed) and it's been a nightmare. You can NOT cancel the account ONLINE, you can NOT cancel at the physical location, you can NOT cancel with an email, but you must call a 3rd party company to accomplish this. I've spent a cummulative 2hours on the phone trying to cancel the secondary membership and they will not provide anything in writing and are unwilling to just flat cancel the policy, it is beyond reason. The original cancellation was put in 60 days ago and they are still telling me to wait longer. In the meanwhile they've charged me 4 months of membership and I now have to file a dispute with the card company.

This gym spoiled me! I especially enjoy the classes, and it is so spacious and clean. Great variety and quantity of equipment, I never have to wait for any machine when I'm there before noon. Aleschka and Gwendolyn are amazing trainers, and Debbie the Assistant General Manager helped me navigate a sticky membership situation. THEY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL AND WILL KEEP CHARGING YOU AFTER YOU CANCEL TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE - I've been charged for nearly a year after cancellation, after reviewing my bank statements I noticed that they have continued to charge me for the last 8 months. This gym is expensive and was once decent, now it is full of juveniles with ZERO gym etiquette and respect. Always texting on machines, using equipment incredibly slowly, working out in large groups..still TEXTING AND NO ONE IN THE GROUP IS ACTUALLY USING THE MACHINE...YET SAY THEY ARE!!. The staff does nothing. If anything the adults are given warnings for approaching these defunct members. This went form a decent to a joke of a gym. Find a better place!!!! ONLY JOIN THIS GYM IF YOU ARE A GEN Z AND WANT A PLACE TO SOCIALIZE, NOT HAVING A CLUE ABOUT FITNESS!!! Another interesting fact, when discussing the problem with a worker, he told me they are told NOT to say anything to these juveniles about their behavior, so when an adult member decides to navigate on their own, they are demonized. The gym is busy but I rarely wait for equipment. Always clean. Barbara is a nice and attentive manager.
But the shining star is the training staff. I met with Ira when joining the gym. Out of shape for a decade and stressed from a new job and divorce. Though wary and scared to pay for and start a fitness program, I look back and am thankful I did. Jayson, my personal trainer is PHENOMENAL. His personality, style, knowledge, and support are unrivaled. He has helped me transform physically AND mentally with his training. It is work, but without them the chances to achieve your goals is seriously hampered.
Thank you Ira…..and to Jayson….you are the best man, and GO PANTHERS!

A gym that only seeks financial profit.

The monthly fee is not cheap, and you expect the best service, but that is not the case.

They charge you additional fees without mentioning it beforehand, such as annual fees that are practically double the monthly fee. They also have a 30-day cancellation policy that forces you to pay for an additional month of a service you won’t use.

I stayed at this gym for three months, I do not recommend it.

Avoid this gym at all costs!

I had an absolutely terrible experience here. From the very beginning, they made promises they never kept. During my initial interview, they assured me I would receive guidance on my meal plan, which never happened. Then, they charged me twice for the initial enrollment fee and refused to issue a refund at first, insisting on keeping the money as credit.

When I decided to cancel my membership, they conveniently failed to inform me that I needed to give a 30-day notice to avoid another charge. To make things worse, when I started personal training, the trainer clearly lacked the necessary knowledge to guide me properly. And when I finally tried to cancel my membership, they didn’t process my request, forcing me to wait another 30 days and pay for an extra month.

It’s clear that this gym only cares about taking your money and has zero interest in providing quality service. If you're considering joining, DO NOT make the mistake I did. Find a gym with better reviews and avoid this nightmare!

I’m very pleased with YouFit Gym, especially with trainers Jason and Aleshca. They are both very dedicated. I go to the gym five times a week and have no issues with waiting for a machine or treadmill. Yes, it can get very busy at times, but it's never impossible.

I've seen many negative reviews concerning charges or poor experiences, but I completely disagree with them. I believe most of these complaints come from people who don’t want to go to the gym in the first place. Additionally, if you want to cancel this membership—or any membership—just call your credit card company and block the merchant, instead of complaining everywhere. Alternatively, you can simply call to cancel the membership. Either way, the membership fees are very low compared to most gyms.

In conclusion, I highly recommend going to the gym in general, and if you want a pleasant experience, try YouFit. Good workouts for everyone. Cheers! 🥂💪🤙

Terrible. Immature, unprofessional individuals running the personal training. I was mislead by one of the trainers and the manager Jayson gave me his word in front of my husband that he will not charge me for another month as I had already advised the PT I was working with, that I will not continue since the beginning. He got insulted when I told him that unfortunately I will not take his word for it and he signed a paper saying he will not charge me. He did it anyway so I was right about no trusting this individual. Not surprised with personnel as most gyms hire anyone and nobody takes accountability. They harassed me by calling me several times after Jayson gave his word. Very sad and wrong.

Lockers have proven to be ineffective as there have been instances of break-ins. This unfortunate situation has occurred not only to me but also to several others, where individuals steal cash from our bags. When I approached the reception to request a review of the security camera footage, they claimed to be unaware of how to operate them. Despite this issue, I continue to use Youfit for my workouts due to its proximity to my residence. However, I now opt to leave my bag in my car for added convenience and security.

My daughter signed up for this gym to get out and get in shape. Unfortunately the times she goes the gym is packed and she feels uncomfortable asking adults to leave the machines... I went in to cancel the membership and the young man at the front desk told me they were transiting into a new system of canceling and that they were no longer able to do it inhouse so I had to come back and speak with a manager. I came back and asked for a manager and they were in meetings. I came back a third time and spoke with a manager and she told me that they do not cancel memberships and that I must do it over the phone. My daughter has not been in the gym in 4 months after an altercation with an older man when she asked to use the bike he was just sitting on. So I called to cancel. Even though I explained the situation, called to speak with the GM who NEVER called me back, and had been trying to cancel for 3 weeks they STILL did not honor this and charged us for another month. They have ZERO customer service. Do yourself a favor and steer so far clear from this place!!!

Love it the cleaning lady is amazing. Friendly front desk people everybody is wonderful give me opportunity to you to regroup and focus my mind. I'm able to lock my account and not spend any money other than me membership and go through a cleansing Journey while I Stay on their property it was enlightening I was able to lose 10 pounds isolate myself and gather my thoughts. I have been going to YouFit for almost 3 years and Jayson has been my personal trainer for almost 2 years. Jayson transformed my life in the best way possible. He pushes me day in and day out (he is not easy to negotiate with). He has helped me develop a love for the gym that I never knew I could have. He always walks in with a positive attitude which makes the experience that much better. His knowledge of fitness has helped me become the strongest I have ever been in my life. This Youfit location seems to attract a younger crowd. Didn't seem to have enough 45 or 25lb plates to go around. I come here to bring the wife to the spin class cause she knows the instructor.

The Youfit on sw 13th is head and shoulders above most of the other gyms in the area. You have a consistent group of regulars who push you and encourage you to work harder, and have fun doing it. The new equipment theyve added has been a huge advantage, without a huge pricetag or fee increase. The trainers here are top of the pack, with record setting competetive powerlifters on staff, and they even have pickleball available in the evening as a round robin style pickup game. No other place stacks up what you can get for your money.

I’ve been to gym all over the world the last 25 years and never experienced a gym so terrible. They have a small selection of equipment, and not enough plates for the machines and bars. They also won’t accommodate you if you rode your bike and forgot your lock, just terrible customer service. It’s full of people sitting on their phones while taking up machines. There was a girl on the same machine for 40 mins chatting and on her phone. I would avoid!!

This has been the best YouFit location I have been to. It's well maintained and clean all the time. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Angie!! She has great energy, always kind, and very knowledgable. Erick the manager is cool too!

Came in for my first session at this location after being at the pembroke pines location for a few months and the difference is OBVIOUS! The location is clean, well ventilated and not too packed with people also plenty of equipment for everyone! Debbie and Eric in management are attentive and welcoming! Randy my new trainer is knowledgeable and understanding of my fitness journey! I will be back here often! Thank you all!

Gym equip needs maintenance. Urinals nasty, no paper towels. Staff not checking ID on everyone, staff rude. Many people lifting weights is socks. Kids 15 years old or less using the equipment. Management does Not follow the gym rules.

This gym location is great! Amazing staff and trainers, great location and pretty clean gym! They also have some new technology in the gym called Altis. It’s the first artificial intelligence personal trainer and I had so much fun using it!!

I’ve been a member for many years and in addition to it being a great club, the one thing that is always consistent is the manager, Debbie. She is extremely pleasant ALL THE TIME. She is patient and always goes above and beyond. If you have an issue, she will help get it resolved. If you have a suggestion she will listen. If you have a request, she will do her best to accommodate. Debbie is truly an asset to YouFit.

I talked to a woman that I think her name is Farah she helped me out on where to find the gym and the directions she gave me was amazing. I was unbelieved that it was the right gym and when I talked to her I asked her do you live in Weston area and she said no. I was again amazed on how she guided me to Weston gym and doesn’t live in this area I'm giving 5 stars I don’t care what anyone think about this gym, this gym is the best.

This gym is amazing! Staff is super helpful, front desk workers Jesus and Nicki always greet me with a smile and are welcoming. The manager Eric is always improving the gym, asking if I’m having a great workout, which I am :). My trainer Jason has helped me improve so quickly, without him I wouldn’t be where I’m at, couldn’t be more thankful, he’s the best! Other trainers are also very friendly and always assisting me, thank you to Randy especially. The gym is always cleaned and organized, awesome job!

Definitely a great place to get a trainer. While we use Jared for our trainer, all the trainers are great. We particularly like Jared because of his knowledge and his ability to show form and how to do the exercises. I would definitely suggest you try it and you won’t be disappointed.

I love this gym so much! Nikki is my favorite person on the face of the planet. She is sooo attentive. She is always taking charge and making sure everyone is doing the right thing. I sometimes mistake her for the manager. The sweetest girl at the gym. Hands down! She makes me feel so welcomed everytime i walk in. Highly recommend coming here just to see her gorgeous face.
