There was zero warning or heads up given to the customers. They didn't even have the decency to put a sign on the door explaining the closure, how to contact them, or if memberships will continue to be renewed.

Youfit is a clean facility, however with all the social distancing, you cant work out next to someone that came with you. Staff is great and very polite. Still on the fence about joining only for the reason of not being able to go on a treadmill, rower, etc and be next to your workout buddy.

Me and a neighbor are retirees and we are so glad to see this site reopen and Crystal at the front desk is a welcoming site with her warm greeting and is so helpful as we enter and leave we look forward to walking in and being greeted by her and she is always wiping the equipment down and feather dusting. Closed for almost a month after OK'ed for reopening. Still no showers, try to go before work, but can't because of closed showers. Can't be because of covid, washing prevents spread.
Today told can't come in without a towel, can't shower but required to have towel. Already have to wipe down equipment after you're finished. Not going sweat everywhere in a 20 minute workout.

Charged me AFTER they are close during the pandemic until I got a hold of them to freeze my account. Opened back in August and announced with a single email that got lost in the spam folder. Automatically unfreeze my account WITHOUT my authorization and continued to charge me eventhough I didn't use the gym because I didnt even know they opened. Manager wouldn't refund for the new charge or the annual membership that I dont get to use, even request $10 when I asked to cancel my membership. The female manager at the location on Blanding Blvd is extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. She recently called the police on a customer for no reason and lied and said she was being harassed. This was clearly a case of discrimination and severe power tripping. After reading other comments about this location, either customers' feedback is being ignored or this manager's actions are being overlooked and condoned by corporate. This lady is out of control and if something isn't done, a lawsuit is bond to happen soon.

Great place to get a workout. Not all of the staff is friendly, however, Jessie the manager is always welcoming by greeting you with a smile. She is always willing to listen and address any concerns brought to her attention.

I love the type of equipment. The morning staff is friendly. Crystal is always in good spirits with me and the other 5am goers. It’s also not crowded at 5am so it’s a comfortable place to workout. Only things I wish they had: HIIT/Athletic Training area, a heavy bag for boxing, and one more plate loaded leg press. Other than that, it’s perfect for any level of fitness.

The environment was great but the club charged my account when told not to do so until two days later caused my account to over draft not once but twice. They keep calling telling me to pay 50% to stay or leave however, I didn't attend two week after payment was received. I agree with George and Crystal. My experience with tatted up manager is that her moods seem to coincide with monthly occurrences. When she is nice it seems forced and not genuine. Why I am rating today is because of an experience this week. I had to wait a moment as there was only one person at reception with a new guest. Manager walks out of office and I step up to counter holding up my check in barcode tab to hand to her as I was immediately up to her side of counter, she took the man's tab behind me first, acknowledging and smiling at him. Barely speaking to me or making eye contact. I took tab and set off to work out. I won't be a member much longer to have to encounter her. But why can't we just check in with barcode ourselves? I found a male employees wallet with military ID in parking lot, barely got a thank you. Wouldn't you think he would remember me upon next encounters and at least say hi or wave? Join for the gym not these two staff. Five stars - The place is clean, equipment organized well, and one young lady is very nice and sweet. Zumba instructors are awesome. Equipment and space is extra nice.

I attended the Zumba classes with Instructors Kimberly Christopher and Lourdes Morales. They greeted everyone with a smile and hugs. So they made you feel very comfortable. There playlist as well as there dancing was phenomenal. The members came in ready to party and I understand why. They provided so many different genres of music. It was something in the playlist for everyone. I enjoyed every second of them.

My local Youfit has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The culture they promote is one of health and personal growth. I am not athletic, never have been but you have to start somewhere. When I walked in to join I said my goal was to start moving. No one pressured me into a certain weight loss or strength training goal. They have simply supported my efforts and encourage me every time I walk in the door. I'm very happy there.

Staff is friendly . Gym is clean . One of the things I love is that it’s never super crowded like other gyms can get . The classes are fun and seem to have a lot of positive morale. I also love the music they play. the shower handle did fall off during my shower and a light has been out in the shower stall for a while now . But I’ve also been a member at many gyms before, and sometimes things like that just happen . I’m happy I joined and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable low key gym .

This was and still could be a 5 star workout gym.

It seemed when it first opened they were 24 hours. Then this gym changed a few days to 24 hours and finally it stopped their 24 hours.

Now with Gyms opening up with more offers to gym members, they will have to consider what they could do for their members.

Options would be:

1.) Go back to 24 hours
2.) Even earlier open hours would be nice from: 3:00/4:00 a.m. until...
3.) Choose Random days in which they will be open earlier, 12 hours or 24 hours.
4.) Get a key swipe on the front doors to know who is entering the building, as they have cameras. Police Station near.
5.) Offer discounts to Police Officers who have a station near, if hours change.

There are many endless possibilities that this GYM could have in being more successful, than taking things away from their members. It is different from any other gym and even their other gyms with the name YOUFIT.

This gym is always clean. The staff is always working with members to better their fitness. Everyone always seems very friendly. The routine clients seems to be familiar and like this environment. Front Desk Host: Crystal seems to know all her members, advocates for them to better themselves in health. She always listens to their concerns as they come in and out. Cleaning equipment, etc.

Truly if you want to be above the standard, it is only a few things you would have to do to maintain, keep, retain or gain more members.

If not; than you will loose many clients as other gym EXERCISE their offers to members.

The staff is friendly. The facility is clean. I don't really enjoy the way some of their staff try and bait you to buy classes from a personal trainer. I don't like the way they call you to ask you to change your survey to a 10/10 if you rate them 8/10, but otherwise this is a good location with reasonable monthly pricing and the $21.99 lime card is worth the pricing. Their HIIT class on Saturdays is especially fun. Zumba is fun too.

This is a very clean and friendly facility. Definitely accommodating. As a college athlete they let me pay only for the months I was using the facility and not the extra money for the whole year. Unfortunately this location has only been open about 3 years and it's bad enough so many of us that were regulars from the start have left due to mismanagement. Only room they have for classes is unbearably hot which wouldn't be so bad except no air circulation, Plumbing and AC problems, running out of paper towels for days at a time, equipment that's unusable for extended periods of time.
When I signed up it was a 24/7 gym but that was changed and guess what it didn't void the contract smh
Planet Fitness has more equipment plus tanning, hydro massage lounger and beds for couple dollars more a month..

The equipment here is meh. But BEWARE about ever being able to cancel. I've come in twice to cancel my membership and both times they assured me it would be done. But for a year since the second time, they've continued to withdraw funds. I put a stop payment through my bank and YouFit changed it to a wire withdraw, so they were able to skirt the stop payment. I've called the location several times, everyone tells me my cancellation paperwork disappeared. I now live at the beach and have to drive back over there for a THIRD time AND give them another $10 to cancel, even though they've STOLEN easily over $120 from me since failing to complete my last cancellation. I spoke with Terrance at the location just today - he refused to give me the regional manager's last name stating "that's too personal. I can't give you someone's last name." That alone tells me this isn't a new problem with them. It may be $10 a month while you use it, but it ends up costing far more by the time they steal from you for nearly two years after you SIGN the cancellation paperwork!

I see a lot of people on here claiming they are pushy and try to get you to sign up for training, which is a lie. I do not believe this, I have been coming here for 4 months and nothing or a sort is going on here. For the Person who said they charged you for the training that you did not receive (which I doubt) call the main office. I am very pleased with this gym and they are very reasonable with what they charge and even if you do get training it is not that expensive. Again they are not pushy at all, you have ONE session with them and they assess your profile and offer you training (which you can recline without hassle), that is it!

The gym alone is great. They have good equiment, they keep it clean and in good working order, and they offer a good variety of classes. I joined and was very happy for a short time. The problem is the LOUSY managment!!! They offer low prices and PUSH UPSALES! They will pressure you into getting personal training. BUYER BEWARE if you fall for it. They can't keep trainers staffed. The management drives the trainers away. They don't keep many employs over 1 month. They are also either very disorganized or very dishonest. I paid $30 to join a weight loss challenge with a cash prize. I lost a good amount and expected to be in the running for the prize. They kept saying they were still figuring out the winners. A full month later they final told me I did not win, but they would/could not tell me who did or how much the winners lost. It has been 8 months, the winners still have not been announced, but the did have another contest. Needless to say, I did not sign up for that one!

Staff is incredibly professional and friendly. I didn't stick with gyms I've tried in the past because I found the staff to be rude and/or intimidating. This place is nothing like that. Kevin and Brian (managers) are very accommodating and somehow manage to remember everyone's name. I've been training with a youcoach for the last 3 months and I've made HUGE progress in my performance. Couldn't even finish a mile on the treadmill at first, now I do a mile just as a warm-up with no problem. I actually enjoy working out now that I know what I'm doing and have a sense of direction. The gym itself is very reasonably priced, the coaching is a bit expensive but so worth it. Liz taught me so much, and Kyrsten has been equally helpful. If you feel you never get results when you exercise, it's probably because you're doing it wrong. Invest in yourself and let someone show you the right way. You won't look back!
