The trainers here are absolutely awesome you will love every single class that you take from dance to bands to-tone to circuit. Definitely sign up for sessions it is well worth it they are so nice it's so clean it's so much fun I love all the trainers they are all different but all fun. They are all so knowledgeable and so welcoming! Make sure that if you park in the side lot that you go downstairs to the beltline it can be difficult to find but they have signs pointing see how to get there!

The staff were really lovely. The locker set up, towels and space were all nice. I attended a “dance” class. If you want a cardio workout with strength training you’ll enjoy this class, if you are Looking for a dance class this isn’t it. No reflection at all on the staff they were lovey.

Great workout in a non judgmental space. Dark lighting, loud music and lots of variety!

My favorite place to work out. Dynamic cardio dance & strength work out routines that feel fun and not tedious or boring. Dance and Bands are my favorite... the staff is super friendly and helpful and the teachers are super motivating and energetic!

UPDATE: I just went into the gym after being entirely ignored. The manager said she had not received any emails from me. I had emailed ATKinmanpark instead of her "GM" specific email...give me a break. You're a business. I bet if I had emailed the general email trying to sign up, someone would have answered.

She said she tried calling me, which turns out she actually did AFTER I left my initial review but she did not leave a voicemail and the number came up with a completely random name that even she thought was not the right number when I just showed it to her in the studio, so upon missing the call I had ZERO way of knowing she'd even tried to call bc she also didnt respond to a single one of my multiple emails from the past two weeks.... She also mentioned that she figured I would never have come back for classes anyway so more or less, what was the point of rectifying it...

As far as the cancellation goes, she said that I needed to cancel 30 days in advance. When it was my FIRST MONTH AS A MEMBER!!!!! Supposedly for first time members they have a 2 week grace period to cancel, EXCEPT THE WOMAN WHO CALLED ME AND SOLD ME THE $50 TRIAL MEMBERSHIP AND TOOK MY CREDIT CARD INFO OVER THE PHONE SAID I COULD CANCEL ANYTIME AND THAT I ONLY HAD TO MAKE SURE TO CANCEL BEFORE THE NEXT MONTH GOT BILLED! NOT 2 WEEKS OR 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE! That is FALSE ADVERTISING! I NEVER would have signed up.

The manager ended by saying her hands are tied...no they aren't. Yall have the power to do a refund. You're just choosing not to.

I repeat DO NOT TRUST THIS GYM OR MANAGEMENT! There are many other gyms in the area with far better management and policies. Go try Solidcore. Its a better workout anyway...

The coaches at AKT are super nice and the classes are pretty good. However, I did not want to renew my membership so I set a reminder and not only told them in person in studio 6 days before my contract ended but immediately emailed them that same day per the instructions of the person in studio.

7 days later they finally sent me the proof of my contract cancellation the day AFTER the monthly fee was charged and will not refund it.

I used to be a dedicated AKT member and absolutely loved the gym. Since it reopened, the communication and professionalism of the studio has been awful. Due to the lack of class times and my schedule, I have been trying to cancel my membership -- for weeks I have emailed, called and left voicemails, texted, and i have not heard back ONCE. And then two days ago, they charged my credit card for the monthly membership fee. I am honestly in shock. I can't believe anyone would run a business this way.

Love love love! This place will have your muscles working and you feeling alive. This is by far the best studio I’ve ever been to. I had never considered any type of unlimited gym membership before, as going was always a struggle. Not here! I don’t know what magic is in this studio, but I can’t get enough. I’ve actually been able to bring some of the dance moves out of the studio and into the bar. All of the instructors are super encouraging and kind. I can’t help but love the vibe here. Every time I leave I feel that I’ve accomplished something… then check tomorrow’s schedule!

They only had my cell number for two or three days max and they called me once and woke me at 8am and texted me like three times before I was able to block them. I'm not sure how they got my number. I thought they were robocallers or an mlm until I listened to the voicemail. Horribly unprofessional.

DON’T BUY IN. (10/19/22)
They're taking membership payments before even having coaches trained and schedules planned. Even as a 'VIP member', I have no idea when they plan on having a schedule. Even worse, there is no cancel button on their website, and I can't get anyone to respond about canceling my membership. It’s been TWO MONTHS since my initial membership payment and I’ve received nothing for it.

My first class I was HOOKED! Everyone is so welcoming in a beautiful natural way and I have never taken a full body cardio and strength workout like this before. I love the 4 different class modules which keeps the multiple gym memberships to a minimum. Plus I'm a vampire and love the studio vibe lol. Something very special about AKT. 🤩

Very friendly staff and instructors. However, I wasn’t a fan of the music and choreography. The music is 90% instrumental pop and techno. I wish they used music with words and some hip hop

If you want a workout AND to get your dance fix, this is the place. I round out my other fitness efforts with AKT and really appreciate how the trainers take the time to know you before the session. I also really dig the encouragement during the workout. I'll say you'll get the hang of it by the third session so hang in there!

Every workout is an uplifting experience. The trainers are very knowledgeable in anatomy and physiology, so in addition to encouragement throughout the workout they give great advice and modifications as needed.

AKT is a great workout! I sweat hard, push myself harder and have a lot of fun doing it. It’s addicting!

The instructors are all so kind and professional, offering lots of hyping up and modifications in class so all levels are truly welcomed.

I’ve definitely had the most fun working out while trying all their class types.

NO PARKING. If you live on the beltline and can walk here, no problem. If you are driving, you won't be able to find free parking. Paying for parking in the deck on top of a steep $32 class fee makes zero sense. The class itself is great but since I couldn't even get to the regular morning class because of parking, obviously I didn't get the workout I paid for. And it didn't help that I called when I couldn't find parking and they were like "we'll be sure to mark you down as a no-show!" Thanks for flushing my money AKT.

This is a unique Fitness studio. Located on the beautiful beltline in Atlanta, they offer a variety of classes with routines that rotate every 4 to 5 weeks. These folks want your business, of course, but they really want you to succeed and they want you to succeed on your terms. Dropping for free class to find out just what I'm talking about.

Honestly, the most fun I've ever had working out! And seriously challenging too! I noticed a difference in my muscle tone and strength after just 2 weeks. There are also 4 different class formats so you can mix it up!
