Amanda is an EXCEPTIONAL instructor, and I HIGHLY recommend working with her! Prior to our first session I had no idea how instrumental her background in physical therapy would be. It played a major role in tailoring classes that allowed me to gradually and safely build strength and flexibility from a very inflexible baseline. If I was struggling with a pose, adjustments were made so I could still be successful. Amanda provides clear verbal cues and corrections which helped me to focus on alignment and posture while learning new moves. She has created a positive, friendly, safe and comfortable environment for her students to learn and grow. I also respected that she was comfortable about saying, "let me look into this or that for next class". She has a wealth of knowledge in this field but is equally comfortable sharing that from time to time she needs to dig into this or that for your benefit. Give her a chance, you won't be disappointed!!

I have had less than 6 sessions with Amanda - having been referred to her from my spine doctor for lower back issues - and in that time she has been more intuitive, instructive and shown more knowledge about my body than I have ever had in a group pilates session. She actually noticed things with my body stance and posture that no doctor or physical therapist ever did. Her minor tweeks and adjustments make the exercises so much more effective - I can feel the difference. She is kind, patient and positive about my accomplishments each visit. I highly recommend her!!!

My wife has seen Amanda for Pilates and nutrition services. When working with Amanda for nutrition she learned the importance of proper protein intake which greatly helped improve her energy levels throughout the day and helped her have more efficient workouts. Amanda tailors both Pilates and nutrition programs to the individual person she is working with to give them exactly what they need/request. I highly recommend seeing Amanda for both Pilates and nutrition! You wonβt regret it.

Amanda Curd of Anchor to Life Pilates and Nutrition is a wonderful Pilates Instructor and Nutritional Coach.
I see her once a week for Pilates and OOV sessions and she really takes the time to listen to my goals and tailors every session to my specific needs. I always feel stronger and more aligned after my sessions with Amanda.
I also was a part of her nutritional program for several months and she helped me see areas where I was doing well with my nutritional choices as well as areas where I could improve. With her guidance, I was able to make some tweaks to my food choices and the brain fog that I had been experiencing since having COVID several years ago improved and I also had more energy throughout the day. She was great about checking in and providing support in an encouraging way.
I highly recommend Amanda Curd for both Pilates and Nutrition!

I am so thankful a friend recommended Anchor Pilates to me. I was brand new to the world of Pilates when I started working with Amanda & I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She has been an amazing teacher / instructor. She is thorough, extremely knowledgeable, always insures I'm using proper form, encourages me and keeps a positive attitude.
