I cancelled my membership a year ago due to the facility being unkept, mismanaged, and unclean. My contract had already been expired. I have paid my final month, went in in person and cancelled. They said I was all set.. Suddenly I’m being called by creditors for 163 dollars??? This place has turned into a scam business and now my credit score has went down. I don’t recommend this spot at all. With their high prices, lack of management, unkept equipment, it’s not worth the headache of dealing with them.

As someone who travels to a lot of anytime fitness all over I have to say this was one of the unclean I have seen the bathroom I went in was disgusting and the shower had mold all over the head and people stuff all over. The Equipment range was decent except the leg machines need to be fixed the pads are so bad it rubbed my leg raw trying to use it from the cracks but overall decent variety to use.

I called like 2-3 weeks ago to cancel my membership, and I was told that they would send me a form to fill out because I moved out of the city and I am too far to go. The lady on the phone said I should get an email soon to confirm and I never did. A week later I called to check and she said it was still processing and rushed me off the phone. It has been 2 or 3 weeks now and I just got a lot of money taken out of my account because of this. This is extremely unprofessional and I should not have to wait this long if I was told only a few days. Please fix your systems because now I am paying for something I should not. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE (my name is Heather Bishop)

There is always something not working. When I call, call, call, no one ever answers. When you are there between 10 & 5, no manager there. Tanning beds are not working for over a week now. Owner needs to get this place straightened out.

Prices are going up but the equipment has not been updated or fixed. Two treadmill are not working and has not been working for about an year.a cable on one of the weights is broken and the toilet seat in the men's restroom broken

When your contract is up they will bill you for nonsense then send it to collections. It's fraud! Oh and did I mention the only people that will talk to you can't do anything. You can't get the owners number either. My contract ended in June of 2023 and just got a collections letter from them after I paid out my 2 year contract.

I am so completely put off by the Anytime Fitness here in Barnesville. Two months after my contract ended, I opted to end my membership with AF. The young lady I spoke to literally told me “No. I’m going to pause your account for three months instead.” I told her I was moving to the gym at the Civic Center because they are way more affordable but she still would not cancel my account. I was made to feel like I had no other option, so I accepted and left. I was sure to call to try to cancel my account numerous times before the three months were up but the dozens of phone calls I made and voicemails I left were never answered or returned. Instead, my debit card was charged. I went in to talk to the manager, Chad in person and once more asked for my membership to be canceled. He assured me the owner would cancel it and refund my money. I left thinking the situation was finally handled. A couple weeks later, my card was charged again - EVEN THOUGH MY KEY FOB WAS NO LONGER WORKING AT THIS POINT. I went back and spoke to Chad about speaking with the owner. Upon asking this, he scoffed and told me “She rarely comes in, maybe 1-2 times every couple of months.” He gave me the number to corporate but it was only an automated response. My contract with Anytime Fitness ended in October 2022 and I have been trying to cancel this membership since December 2022. I feel like I’ve been given the runaround and I feel like am being made to jump through hoops. It is March and my card is being charged. I haven’t worked out at this gym one single time since my membership was “put on pause.” This shoddy place is not for me. You would think with the money this place takes from people, they’d at least fix the water fountains and buy some new mats that aren’t crumbling apart… but no. It seems to me like this business is nothing more than a source of passive income for the owner. Poor customer service and poor communication. I am genuinely disgusted. 👎🏽👎🏽🍅🍅🍅

Stopped at this Anytime fitness on the way to Blue ridge. The staff was very friendly and the gym was very clean. My boyfriend and I felt like we had found a hidden gem. We will definitely be going back during our travels.

Came in to re enroll the staff was unprofessional and not knowledgeable not sure why previous manager left although present one couldn’t even stop the Vacum cleaner at 11:00am in middle of office hours to greet me. I came as a guest, not knowing that I would be harassed by a member in the middle of my workout for not cleaning a machine that I was still CURRENTLY working out on. Once staff was notified nothing was done about it. There was a complaint under my name which I wasn’t the one causing any of the commotion throughout the night. VERY displeased with staff. Not to mention there was no regard to us teenagers who were cursed out by this member who then filed said complaint.

Great gym, everyone at Anytime Fitness of Barnesville shows lots of support and insight on working out and the overall wellbeing of members there. Very clean and functional equipment and restroom facilities. Climate control is well maintained as well as lighting and music level. Plenty of cardio equipment, could use more free weight stations and less cable machines. (But the equipment is spaced out ideally considering there not being enough space to add free weight stations) When it comes to recommending to others, I myself was a referral and have been referring many of my friends and will continue doing so. (The only thing I'd could see benefiting this current location is an expansion)

I recommend this place over anywhere else. Everyone here is friendly, both workers and others who come here to just work out. I like to work out alone without anyone bothering me, unless I have a friend or my husband with me, then I'll talk to them, but other than that, no one ever bothers me here. I'm in and out. That's perfect for my busy schedule.
