My sister and I are on a family plan. We recently missed a payment because my cousin’s card was locked, so the payment was scheduled to come out within the next three days. However, instead of the expected amount, a $40 charge was taken. We initially let it slide, assuming it was a late fee.
Now, as of September 15th, we have been charged another $40 unexpectedly. After looking into reviews, I’ve seen that this issue has happened to others as well. This needs to be reviewed immediately. Please explain why these $40 charges are occurring and process a reimbursement for the incorrect charges. I want to emphasize that while the gym itself is great, this type of billing issue and lack of clarity in customer service is very frustrating. Please resolve this as soon as possible. Thank you.

horrible. I canceled my membership before the contract was over, paid my cancellation fee and even paid another month due to their “30 day notice” and I still get charged every two weeks. I have called multiple times for them to fix it and take my card off file and they always tell me “ I emailed the boss, he has to go over it” and it’s been going on three months now and yet i’ve never heard from the boss nor has this problem been resolved. this place just wants money!!

What everyone has posted within the past six months is true. Facility is filthy, toilets are broken, things are not being repaired. Do not bother trying to get a membership; they’ll assure you when you cancelled it was complete…four charges, four calls, and various emails later it still isn’t. They’ve become a nightmare to deal with.

I have been going to Anytime in Leesburg for years and in the past two or three years the quality of the equipment and the customer service has declined drastically. There is never anyone in the office to speak with. Most of the equipment needs some kind of repair or is just really old. The bulbs in the tanning beds haven't been changed in two years (and I know because I helped change them) and now, we are down to only one bed and half of those bulbs are blown and the acrylic is broken on the bottom and hanging on the top. Also, the wipes in there are completely dry so you can't even wipe down the bed before and after you use it unless you think to grab some from another station before you go in there. There are cobwebs hanging everywhere and the air conditioning filters are so dirty they are literally being sucked inward because no air can get through them. The carpets are filthy and have never been cleaned in all of the time that I have been a member and 9 times out of 10, the bathrooms are littered with paper and are dirty and the main bathroom hand dryer hasn't worked in forever. With all that being said, my membership fees increased last year for services that are not being received, especially for the tanning bed, because the one that we have left is basically worthless and, not to be a Karen, but I go to the gym at 5:00 every morning and have made more than one special trip on my lunch hour to try to catch someone in the office, as have a few other members, and have not been able to air these grievances, so I decided to leave a survey on the corporate page and also here in hopes that someone will pay attention.

Spent months calling to cancel my membership. Even took time off once to drop by during business hours and cancel, only to find no one. Only after leaving a voicemail threatening legal action, was I left an email with a link to cancel, along with an apologetic voicemail. The link in question was for ABC, the third party company they use for memberships. They required a thirty day advance notice to cancel (after having the membership for two years). After fighting with this company for another 30 days, I was threatened with collections and told I owed $127.56. The price changed three times by the way. Join if you dare.

Good gym atmosphere and hardly ever crowded, but service is horrible. I have moved and have been calling them a couple times a week for the past couple months to cancel my wife's membership, and still no reply I'm having my new home gym attempt to reach out to them at this point. Hopefully this will get them to put some effort in.

well, I have to change this review. this used to be my home gym, and I was proud of that. I have been an Anytime member since at least 2015, and this was the gym I compared all othere to. well, sadly, it's absolutely trash now. I'm glad the out of town gyms I go to are getting my money . it's filthy, broken equipment, just terrible from what it once was

Clean gym with new equipment (dumbbells are new). It's open 24/7 and features enough weights and exercise machines for seasoned weigh lifters and first timers. The gym has been upgraded over the past couple years with new weights, clean air and more open space to exercise.

There is a deadlift room in the back and an open space for stretching, kettle bells, and pull ups.

I've been going to this gym off and on for the last 8 years. I have always loved it. It's been under 3 different owners during these years but the same basic staff most of that time. Amber is the one running the place and is an absolute treasure. The place is always clean, equipment always functional, and the temperature set just right no matter the season. A decent variety of equipment, a Comfortable atmosphere, and the other members are all friendly and helpful. I've never felt judged or out of place. Highly recommend to anyone, no matter your level of fitness.

I have been a member of this gym since 2013(7 years). I have seen 3 different owners throughout these years and have never had a problem with one until now. I have seen and heard some of the craziest things to happen at the gym but 3 days ago would have been the most outrageous one in my opinion. My membership was revoked without warning and was said I was seen on gym cameras by the OWNER training my friend and family which are members of the gym. I have never announced myself as a trainer in or of that gym. When called by the manger she told me of the speculation and what the owner wanted done. I ask for a supervisor and was told she would call and I never gotten a call and was told that the owner would not talk to me for his false accusations. I feel that I was RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED against with this situation because not only on how I was treated but because there have been so called trainers there that was not employees of the gym and were actually training people and receiving payments and still attends this gym to this day. Throughout the years, I love the environment and have built so many relationships with the people there but this is utterly ridiculous and I think if the people there knew of this situation they would agree. I would recommend still that anyone comes to this gym as long as you stay to yourself. Don’t give advice , stretch one another , no couples workout , and in my case don’t look like you’re training someone even if they ask you for specifics because you could run into this problem. The employees are great and the people there are lovely !

To start off, I do like this gym. However, I’ve been calling back periodically since Dec 25th and haven’t gotten a call back and having gone back to the location haven’t been able to get into the gym even during normal guest hours. I would like to get a membership here because the gym is nice... but unfortunately I’ve had no contact back from them.

I’ve been going to this gym for about a month now, and I love it. I didn’t plan on getting a long term membership, but I think I will now. There is a strong sense of close knit community in this gym! Amber is extremely sweet and helpful.

The gym itself has just about everything you need as far as equipment goes, so getting your workout in is not an issue!

Great experience at this Anytime fitness location. I reside in VA and I was in Albany visiting my mother for a week. My electronic key did not work because my account was deleted due to closure of the facility I attended. Jason was extremely apologetic and understanding of the situation. He allowed me to workout without interference or interruption. Greatly appreciated!!!

I’m a travel nurse that came to the area for an assignment. Was looking for a gym to jioin and was recommended this gym.. I usually go in the evening after work. I really enjoy this gym. It’s very clean, has good equipment and is open 34 hours. Amber is awesome! She is very knowledgeable and is very helpful with all the equipment and all other aspects of the gym. She’s always smiling, has a great personality and is always willing to help! The atmosphere is great! I haven’t worked out in a while and I don’t feel intimidated at all at this gym. I highly recommend Anytime Fitness!

Cory is great when we signed up we had 3 young kids with us all under the age of 4. He was nice and worked with us making sure he explained how things worked and answered our questions. He was also straight forward with us which I liked a lot there was no sales pitched just making sure we got what we wanted. The gym is clean and well maintained. They have just about any equipment you could want. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

This is a fairly decent gym given its size. It's not usually crowded, but when it is, you'll become very cramped. In addition, the music is very monotonous, so wear headphones. In fact, the music will probably put a damper on your workout. However, if you like rock and slow pop music, the music will be no problem for you.
