Always enjoyed working out at anytime but today I was locked out and had to run home to shower before work. Last month there was a problem with my payment I went in to take care of it and rather than following through with it the manager told me not to worry about it.

Nice place. Smallish but has most machines and free weights that I need. I come here when I travel. It's clean and never too crowded. I find the employees to be friendly and helpful. $20 for one day pass. It's worth it for me to stay in shape when I travel.

Came into town late Saturday, and began visits early AM on Sunday & Monday. Plan to be there each day thru Saturday. Very clean, good (well-maintained) equipment and really nice looking space! Looking forward to. Great week at Anytime SSI!

BEWARE: impossible to cancel your membership. When I signed up, they said I could cancel any time without penalty. I eventually got in touch with someone at the location, who assured me they would cancel my membership without penalty. Two months later, same guy calls me and said he never spoke to me and very aggressively demanded an $80 cancellation fee. Do yourself favor and avoid this place at all costs and go to The Club if you’re on the island.

Matt the manager is a complete bully. We had a minor problem that he could easily solve. He refused to help and refused to let us talk to the owners. We got the owner’s information, and they refused to speak with us. Do not sign up at this location! The Brunswick owner, however, is lovely and accommodating and offered for us to transfer there and said that she would gladly solve our problem. We will be transferring there. Update: the owner called and was absolutely belligerent.

I highly recommend this gym! I get a guest pass whenever I’m in town to visit family. Every time, Harold helps me out and is super kind and helpful!! The facility is extremely clean. There is a variety of machines and equipment and the staff is attentive. A guest pass is $20 for a day and $60 for a week and I think it’s worth it. It’s a very nice spot.

GREAT GYM! GREAT STAFF! GREAT OWNERS!! I have traveled all over the southeast and visited countless Anytime Fitness facilities, this gym is by far the cleanest, most well-kept gym I have ever visited. From the front office staff (Matt & Harold), to the owner's who truly care about the people they serve, the overall experience is A+++. There are plenty of machines, free weights, and several squat racks to accommodate any fitness level need. If you are visiting, come get a daily/weekly pass. If you live in the area, I highly recommend joining. Keep up the great work!!

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness SSI for 3 years and am more than satisfied. The equipment is well maintained and in good working order. The gym manager/trainer (Matt) ensures it. The other staff trainers (Denise & Cassandra) are often present and are active in training other gym members. All the trainers are approachable for training questions. It is by far the cleanest gym that I have ever been a member, or have even visited during my business travels. This is not an exaggeration. Harold and the crew keep the gym spotless! This week I noticed contractors inside the gym performing a deep clean in the rafters and then painting. Lastly, I have noticed that the owners of Anytime Fitness are invested and involved on site with the operations of the gym. And are most friendly. :) Keep up the good work y'all! It's a pleasure going to the gym to train.

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness Saint Simons Island for 10 months. I have worked out with Matt Hand as my personal trainer two days a week during this time. Not only have I had great results in my fitness level , it has been an enjoyable experience. He is a true professional and shows great concern about my health issues and I have observed his interaction with many other members of the gym and visitors that walk in to get information. I have observed him treat everyone with respect and in a very courteous manner. This is also true about Harold , another staff member. I wish to saw that I have never observed Matt’s behavior as described in some recent reviews or any other staff person. My guess is that these derogatory reviews have some ulterior motive and are not all being sent by persons who actually came into the gym.

I’ve had nothing but outstanding experiences here since I’ve joined. Particularly, Matt has been an absolute delight to work with. I can’t recommend this location or Matt enough.
As a side note, and this is no small thing: this place is crazy clean all the time!.

Love this gym! It’s VERY CLEAN! One of the staff members is always cleaning and here for assistance. Matt and Cassie are phenomenal and skilled trainers. I was worried about the space here coming from a large gym but all the equipment is organized and placed well. The upstairs area is very private with mirrors if you are looking to do a workout or stretch as well. Glad I joined!

The manager/trainer Matt Hand at this establishment cussed me and my friend out after we were wrongfully asked to leave the premises. Matt and the owner of the establishment told us they would give our money back ($60) but days later, they changed their mind after we left the state and only refunded us $20 of the $60 we were promised. The situation was handled very poorly and would not recommend this place to any residents on the island or anyone who is down there to visit.

Matt hand is the most unprofessional trainer I have ever met I’m a personal trainer of my own and he kicked me and my friend out of his gym because I wasn’t wearing the right shoe according to him he got a attitude with me and proceeded to use vulgar language while getting up in my face I’ve went to the gym at my house for three years and never had a problem till I went to this one while visiting my grandparents

Joined Anytime because the other gym in town was raising my rates and now my only regret is not joining sooner! I love my home facility as it is well lit, always clean and all the machines and weights are new and in good working order. To the owners of Anytime Fitness, I want to compliment your employees, especially Matt and Harold. They are always working, and they take the time to greet you and let you know if you need anything, all you have to do is ask them. They always have a great attitude, and they seem happy to see you.
The place is ALWAYS spotless, and I feel I could even eat off the floor.. I am amazed how hard they work to keep such a wonderful place to exercise, and enjoy it !

Anytime Fitness on St. Simons Island is a great facility. I have been working with one of their trainers, Matt Hand for the past 6 months. In that time working with Matt, I have gone from 16% body fat to 13%. I have lost 5 pounds of body fat and put on 10 pounds of muscle. Been here since day one. Staff is fantastic, center is beyond clean and equipment always works and does the job. I’m a former competitive bodybuilder and I love smaller fitness places as I love the vibe and fellow gym members.

I’m not a person to post unless I can stake my name and reputation on it as I am a “ well known celebrity chef”.

Tanning available, again clean and well maintained. My business partner is a female ladies fitness competitor and she also works out here.

Pricing is fair, maybe a tad higher then the bigger clubs however the atmosphere, staff, and equipment is unmatched.
