Kenzie is the absolute best trainer I’ve ever worked with. She takes time to explain things to me. She doesn’t get annoyed when I ask questions, and most of all, she makes me feel comfortable while I’m working out. If you’re just starting your fitness journey and really want to be comfortable and have someone who understands you, cares about you as a person, listens to your needs, and structures the program to fit your needs and takes your input, then this is the place to be in. Kenzie is the trainer to have.

Her positive attitude and encouragement have motivated me to push myself harder than I ever thought possible. I have seen amazing results since working with her, both physically and mentally. Anytime fitness is a very convenient facility to work out at and at a fair price. However it does fluctuate with which location you use due to the particular equipment that is compatible with your workout style and goals. I find the gym in Winder fits my needs even though I live within minutes to the one located in Hoschton. The Winder facility is smaller but has a more stable consistent clientele that is there to work out and understands gym etiquette which is important in maximizing your available time to work out. It is a good mixture of free weights as well as machines. The staff is very responsive to what ever you need and the gym is kept very clean, organized and the equipment is well maintained. However if that is not your fit there are other branches in close proximity that you may find more suitable.

The entire place outside and in is covered in blood, feces, and body fluids especiallyin the mens bathroom. Inside smells like mold and is covered in trash and dust.
Will never return. Very unclean and dangerous.

I used to would have given anytime fitness 5 stars. I've been coming here for a very long except it was much cheaper when I first started. The prices keep going up but the facility desperately needs fixed up. There's holes in the walls, broken mirror, repainting that needs done, many pieces of equipment need repairs, the cable attachments are so old and falling apart, there's been no new equipment added in a long time then they took away the disposable wipes people used to clean equipment and replaced them with reusable towels and spray bottles. I understand the intent however people simply don't use them, or they just leave the towels and bottles in the gym wherever like litter, and oftentimes they don't even have any clean towels available especially on the weekends when there's no staff. They need to plan accordingly if this is the plan otherwise the gym is just going to get dirtier. New membership prices have gone up even more than what they did for current members and I don't see why anyone would pay that when there's other gym options in the area that are newer and offer more. I like the small gym environment and it being 24 hours works well for me so I don't want to leave anytime fitness but if the prices keep going up without any added value I won't be staying here. I'll include some pictures of different things I'm referencing. The picture of the outside windows show these things they put on the windows when they offered these classes which they don't anymore but it's still on the windows. They don't offer any classes like yoga and Zumba like they did when I first started. One elliptical shown has a black screen because it just hasn't worked in awhile and another one is shown because the handles are messed up. Multiple ellipticals need the handles fixed. The big screen by the front door just sits there not in use. Other gyms actually use it

Update four months later - I now occasionally get a clean towel to wipe off my equipment but unfortunately there's still often not enough towels. And equipment just goes uncleaned. The brown paper towels just disintegrate so they aren't helpful. Some of the holes I took pictures of before have been fixed. Still some broken equipment.

Kynzie was my first impression, and she's a delight. I had already had my membership a month and only used it to tan. I spoke with her, and she set me up with the 6 weeks of small group training with Thaís. Another amazing human! The sessions can be up to 4 people at a time, not a personal trainer, but I still got a very good work out each time. Thaís is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her and highly recommend her as a trainer, either personally or in the small group setting. The gym is kept very, very clean. The other members either keep to themselves or are nice to talk to and get to know. No creepers. Major bonus is that the gym 24hrs and you can use other locations as well. I will most definitely continue my membership at this gym and recommend it to others.

When I signed up I was told that my child could Come with me as long as they stayed in a designated area. Have been doing it for several months never an issue this . This week when I came in I was told that they had new management and that kids were no longer allowed to be in the building. I would’ve been upset but when I signed up I told him this was something that I needed in order to be a member I was told it was not a problem. So cancel my membership went somewhere else.

I was a member of Anytime Fitness before moving to this area & I loved it.
& while I still admire the convenience, this one is just not great. The equipment is kind of lacking. The mats especially are awful. Which is a shame because you really can't get on the floor in the cardio area due to the weird purple astro turf? Also the bathrooms are rarely very clean. I've seen dead roaches in them.
Definitely will be looking for a new gym when my membership is up :/

I've been coming to the Winder Anytime for that past 6 years. From the access in parking to the equipment to the staff it is an excellent gym. I have never had an issue getting on the machine I wanted to use and I'm there during prime times usually. The free weight area is well stocked. The machines are in abundance. The place is clean and well lit. They are always trying to update the gym for a better experience. The staff and trainers are friendly and are willing to answer questions and lend advice.

I participated in a promotional registration and decided that going to this gym was not best suited for my needs. I cancelled my membership within the first 7-Days, which is the free cancellation and full refund period. However, I have yet to receive my refund. It has been 8 weeks since my cancellation and I still have not received my money. I have been in contact with the management here and they have been avoiding my request for a refund—even thought it’s clear that I am giving them the time they need to perform this refund or resolve any issues they may be dealing with. This location is clearly unprofessional seeing that I am still waiting for my refund even after 8 weeks. Do not go here or participate in any promotions of any kind with Anytime Fitness, you may be in the same situation as me. It is unfortunate because I have and I still am compliant and clearly trying to cooperate with them to resolve this long-held refund.

This is a class gym. It's perfect for those who have a flexible work schedule since it's always open and never too busy. My favourite part about the gym is how clean it is. I've been to other AF locations that were minging, but this one has got quite a high standard when it comes to cleanliness. Moreover, the staff is really friendly and helpful to everyone who approaches. The space of the gym itself is ample since the organisation of the machines are well put. There's a lot of interesting and amiable characters who attend the gym as well, which adds onto it's charm!

I’ve been a member here since they first opened the old location “by firehouse” 11 years ago! I have never had any major issues. Both of my pregnancy’s were high risk so I’ve had to freeze my membership a twice each time it was froze and unfroze with no problems. I’ve also had payments returned here and there. They’ve always been taken care of with a call to the gym they also take off any fees associated with the return. “returns are not consistent for me” Needless to say I’ve been A member here all of my adult life and I LOVE MY GYM! The Studio is great, the tanning beds are pretty good. Of corse there are going to be weights handles ect out of place we all use them in a different areas and on different equipment “nothing is ever hard to find” The gym is always clean wipe down wipes are always full along with papers towels ect. It is on the smaller side but compared the other option in winder it’s huge! I visit at night so rarely interact with the staff. Seems all these complaints here are pretty typical of any gym. People join, sigh a contract, not use it and get mad when there is a fee to cancel. “Read the papers before you sign guys!” My only request/complaint would be to PLEASE move the Stairstepper against a wall “or back where it was” so our backs aren’t facing the whole gym and to upgrade our row machine I’m also a member of LA Fitness “closer to my job” and after using the row machine there it’s hard coming back to ours. If you’re considering joining go grab a day pass! Highly recommended!

I've been going here for years now and really enjoy this gym. It's big enough to be decently equipped with all kinds of equipment but not so large you have to walk a mile to superset. The after-lunch and afternoon crew of members are friendly and a blast to train with. The staff is very friendly and always does a good job keeping the place clean.

One of the trainers was recently let go and has taken to placing a slew of fake reviews up. My advice is to just come get a guest pass and make your own decision. You won't be disappointed.

After being lied to that my account would cancel by itself which it didn’t and still getting for a membership that I didn’t know I had because I thought it was cancelled like I was told. So I’m out this year already 170 for something I didn’t know I had and didn’t use. I’m not the only one either. One of my fam members told me that even after they cancelled their membership they were still getting charged and ultimately had to change their bank account number. Bunch of crooks. Since I travel a lot, I go to many Anytime Fitness locations. This one is pretty good, though it does have a few negatives. For the good things: It has a lot of equipment in good condition. They have 2 power racks (squat racks), 3 Olympic barbells, 2 flat benches, 3 adjustable benches, and two Smith machines. (Oh, and dumbbells up to 120 I believe). They've got just about every weight machine you can think of outside of specialized machines like a single-leg leg press. They don't have a dedicated bench press station, but you can just drag a bench into one of the power racks and bench there. They also have a large selection of cardio machines.

I have two complaints, and the first is common to pretty much every Anytime Fitness location. The music sucks and is too loud. I don't bother to even bring headphones to this location anymore, because you won't be able to hear your music. My second complaint is pretty minor, but this place is packed at pretty much all times. You can forget about working out after 5:30 PM, as you would be lucky to get the piece of equipment you need. It always amazes me how crowded this place can be. I have seen it packed even on a Saturday night, when other places are totally dead.

I really like this gym over the other Anytime's I hit in different areas. Most gyms are smaller but this one's actually pretty big and has a ton of stuff. The staff has always been super friendly and I really like to convenience of the gym and how they've updated it over the past year.

I would say they only negative is that it can get packed! While I can literally go anytime, I can't go in the evenings or working out becomes a spectator sport. So I have to pick and choose when I go and I'm not sure what the gym could do improve that. It's a good gym in a convenient location so yeah, it's gonna be busy. But great staff, great equipment and I've had great conversations with trainers that have really helped me achieve some goals. Great gym!

Im a truckdriver who uses Anytime Fitness in 48 states. The Winder location is clean and full of decent equipment. I belonged to Golds and quite honestly with their stupid Bankers hours will never be able to cater to the real working public.
