This review is from an absolute beginner standpoint. I went with the 4 lesson package and its amazing how much BJ has taught me from a guy who didnt even know how to hold a golf club to now having a decent swing. I still have a lot of work to do but if you take his lessons, practice at the range and do the drills he teaches, you will get better.

BJ also sends a video analysis of your swing after each lesson by comparing your mechanics to a pro side by side so you know exactly what to work on at the range.

We started lessons with putting then chipping, half swing and then finally a full swing which was very helpful.

Also, the training facility is great. Located right next to Augusta National and he has a lot of cool Masters/Golf memorabilia at the place.

This place was just what I needed! As someone who just started trying out golf in the last 8 months, BJ taught me proper mechanics for putting, full swings, and everything in-between. Before my lessons I was quite clueless and had no idea what proper swing mechanics felt or looked like. Now I better understand proper swing mechanics and I have drills to work towards that, and most importantly he helped me build confidence in myself.

Been golfing on and off for years and finally decided to take some lessons. BJ was very professional and knowledgeable. I would encourage everyone that likes to play golf to take at least a few lessons. BJ pointed out some very basic issues he was seeing and results were exciting to see.

Great experience with an even better instructor. BJ is an awesome guy with a vast knowledge of the game and swing dynamics. Very personable guy that is easy to have a conversation with and take instruction from. If you are like me and are on the fence about getting a lesson, GO DO IT AND DO IT HERE! Definitely will be back!

I am 75 , and have been playing for 30 years with an arms dominated swng. Thousand of dollars over the years paying instructors for bandaides . Their teaching never lasted. I went to BJ in desperation in March, ready to finally quit the game..He restructured my swing 100%. it is now 6 months of training on his program and I am a new man .He tells it like it is, Hard work. hundreds of drills reps rather than just whacking balls.. I was tempted to quit many times but never gave up and it has paid off. Body controls the swing, the arms follow. Totally opposite of what I have been doing all these years and very few swing thoughts. Thatis the beauty of it!! BJ is the best -Bob

Absolutely a fantastic experience. High quality technology and video data to completely break down my swing and identify areas for improvement (or overhaul). I could not be more impressed or complementary of my time with BJ. Swing mechanics, club head function, ball mechanics and body positions during swing and at impact were all completely reviewed. BJ is an amazing instructor! I never had any previous formal training or lessons. He was very professional and really took his time to explain many different nuances that I was unaware of. He made high quality instruction videos from my swing that I was able to refer back to after. His facility was great and I would definitely recommend him to anyone trying to improve their golf game. BJ is a true professional that you won’t regret going to.

I have had two lessons with B J Hathaway in the last month and he has quickly helped me with two problems that I have struggled with for years. B J is versed in several teaching methods: Stack and Tilt; The G.O.L.F. Machine; and Hank Haney's teaching ideas. B J will work with you however you wish to go--he is not limited to teaching you just one way of doing things. I have a golf teaching certificate from the United States Golf Teacher's Federation and taught for Dave Pelz Scoring Game Schools for many years after my retirement from US Airways and I feel qualified to comment on good and not so good instruction. I feel that B J is an excellent instructor; and his rates are very reasonable. You will be happy you decided to take lessons with him.
