About the Club

As a fitness trainer, it is my responsibility to adjust the training program based on each clients individual needs. During my 35 years in the fitness industry, I have learned when it is necessary to push harder and when it is necessary to ease back.
Despite the fact that exercise science can be seen as both an art and a science, it is the knowledge gained from the sciences that enables us to improve in the art.
As I became more aware of the physiological reasons why a person might be fatigued, I was able to decide whether to give rest or keep going.
These are a few attributes I have acquired to help you achieve your fitness goals.

David is an amazing person, who provides true personal training in every since of the word. He cares, listens and supports. I was on the fence about hiring a trainer, and whether it was worth the money. After our first session, I knew I made the right decision. I am not a complete newbie to working out so, I was really surprised and happy to learn how to evaluate using proper form and exercises to avoid to reduce injury. His meal plans were simply, easy to follow and tasty. I've been training with David for a month now and he is bringing my training routine to the next level. Had no idea all the little things I was doing wrong with my form and technique. I've done hour long body pump classes and finished them no problem but David can push me to my limits in 15 minutes. David knows what he is doing and is a great teacher. My kids and I met David Carter more than 6 years ago when he was training at a local gym. We went in thinking we’d go for a few sessions to learn how to use the equipment and ended up loving it so much that we continued for years. David taught us how to become strong and fit at a time when we needed it the most. My kids are now young adults and continue to put a priority on fitness. I’m in my 50’s and do the same. David helps keep me motivated to be strong, especially on days when it’s the last thing I feel like doing. Update: Even though I’ve moved away from the area, David now trains me via FaceTime! This has been a lifesaver during the Covid-19 pandemic! We installed a heavy bag in our basement, and every week David has been coaching me on 🥊 and strengthening techniques. I look forward to our weekly half-hour sessions and he gives me a lot to work on in the intervening days.

David changed my life. He understood my goals and my physical limitations (prior injuries), and worked safely and consistently with me to become the strongest I've ever been, focused always on perfect form and steady progress. His experience, smile and sense of humor contributed to every workout and made it both challenging and fun! Moving away from the Atlanta area was so much harder since I had to leave B Fit Personal Training. David still checks in from time to time and I still hear his voice in my head when I work out, maintaining good form.

I have been working with David since June of this year. David does an amazing job of keeping us motivated and makes sure that we have the correct posture as we do the exercises. The meal plans are easy to follow and he’s always great about alternatives if you can’t conduct an exercise. This is so helpful as I have issues with my knee after an ACL surgery. I’m in a different state so we do training via FaceTime/Google Duo. He has a great sense of humor and named my cat “puppy cat” because she’s always near me as I work out.

I really appreciate all that David has done for me. I've been training to become in shape so that I can apply for law enforcement jobs. I feel a lot better and have been getting a lot stronger. Before working with him i was unable to do a proper pushup but now I'm working on doing pushups as low as 3 in from the ground.

Overall, I've been working out with him for about 5 months now and David is always willing to work with me to fit in a session around my schedule. Will always recommend David for anyone wanting to know how to workout effectively at their own pace.

Coach David is very knowledgeable and professional. He has trained me to achieve my athletic goals. David is the absolute best personal trainer. I had severe health issues @ 58 years old...a quad by-pass. My lack of exercise coupled with my desk job made me soft, weak and unable to even walk even short distances. I met David and decided to sign up for 3X’s per week for one year. I did my best to go to every appointment...David was also very helpful to reschedule when I was unable to attend. After th first year, I was SO HAPPY with the results, I signed up for another full year. I highly recommend David and his unrivaled knowledge and honest understanding of my initial fragile condition, which he fully understood and was sensitive to. After my first session with David, l felt like I had learned more in that one session, than all my previous training before. David Immediately made corrections to my form which no other trainer had pointed out.
