At Barnett Taekwondo Academy, we are dedicated to providing a safe and family-oriented martial arts experience for students of all ages. Our mission is to foster self-improvement and personal development through focused training and positive social interaction in a courteous and fun atmosphere. Our greatest responsibility is to instill in our students a sense of discipline and code of ethics to inspire them to lead exemplary lives as leaders in the community.

It has been a while since my daughters have been able to train at BTA. Nevertheless, when they enter they know that they are welcome. From the Barnett family to the other families that have children learning taekwondo, everyone is kind, inviting and supportive of each other and to my girls. It didn't matter if they were training taekwondo, kung fu or capoeira at BTA, they were always supported and encouraged to grow into being better people... Just like they still are whenever they encounter people from BTA.

My son has found a home with Barnett TKD. He is on the spectrum and I’ve watched him over the last nine years become a focused, patient, communicative, and strong (emotionally and physically) young man. He started in elementary school and is now a first degree black belt. Massive thanks to Master Curtis and the Barnett family for giving him such a fulfilling path.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Barnett Taekwondo Academy! My two children, ages four and eight, have been attending classes here, and it's been nothing short of an incredible experience. From the very first class, the instructors have been absolutely amazing—patient, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about teaching taekwondo to kids of all ages.
My four-year-old, who was initially a bit shy, has blossomed into a confident little martial artist, all thanks to the nurturing environment that Barnett Taekwondo Academy provides. The instructors have a magical way of making each child feel special and capable, no matter their skill level. They've not only learned the basics of taekwondo but are also picking up valuable life lessons like respect, discipline, and perseverance.
As for my eight-year-old, they've been thrilled with every class. The curriculum is challenging yet perfectly tailored to keep them engaged and motivated. It's heartwarming to see the camaraderie between the kids as they cheer each other on, pushing through each new challenge together. The studio itself is top-notch—clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything needed for a safe and fun learning experience.
What I appreciate most about Barnett Taekwondo Academy is how they focus on each child's personal growth. They're not just teaching taekwondo; they're helping shape confident, respectful, and determined young individuals. Watching my kids grow stronger and more confident with each class has been one of the most rewarding experiences as a parent.

I give BTA 5 stars!! The Barnett's have done a wonderful job with my son. My son has come out of his shell since being a member. My son Started when he was 9 and still here about to be 15 yrs old. My son went from a white belt to a Black belt white stripe. I appreciate the time it took and the Barnett's are very patient with all of the children, they have online and in person, from PK to Adult classes. I love the hospitality, Family Like environment, and positivity through out the building. They are our family and we love them A lot!!! I recommend this family to All people. Please don't hesitate to Stop by, you are truly WELCOME 🤗.
