Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi Roswell is open but not accepting new members. If you search for another Body & Brain location nearby you'll be able to find a variety of yoga classes for beginners and more advanced yoga classes to energize the mind, body, and spirit. Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi offers practices based on a 5000-year-old Eastern tradition of stretching, breathing, meridian exercise, tai chi, and meditation.

We also offer workshops and retreats locally and at meditation centers around the globe. Our Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi workshops and retreats can help promote a lifestyle that enhances your physical, mental, and energetic health. My experience with Master Jackie was very rewarding. I wasn't feeling too well when I came. It was blessing I came. She performed a healing session on me and I was able to release a lot of tension and stress that had built up inside of me. I also had pain in my neck and chest. After my session with her, my pain disappeared. My body began to shake with joy. She used the wooden pillow for every part of my body to heal me. I am so grateful for Master Jackie and I will continue to come as often as I can. Thank you Master Jackie!

I've been involved Body&Brain Yoga/Taichi about 15 years. I tribute my good health to this practice. The older I become I see the benefits of this practice. I am late 70's now. A few days ago my doctor was very pleased about my health and actually told me to keep doing what I'm doing now. This practice is part of my life now and I will never give it up.

This is definitely not like every other yoga studio! The philosophy of healing the whole self - physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually - through a mix of yoga, stretching, qigong, tai chi, and meditation has been a game-changer for me. I've been a member for almost 6 months and I feel healthier and happier than I have in a long time. Classes are very small and there are only a small set of teachers so you feel connected with fellow students and instructors very quickly. Even though the classes are not necessarily vigorous or difficult, I always feel better, mentally lighter, and better focused after I go. I love this place!

Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi is an amazing organization that I can honestly say has transformed my life. Master Jackie at the Roswell location has taught me so much in just a short amount of time. You will learn how to direct your energy to better handle day to day stress. Each day you learn something different which I find amazing. I love the body and brain yoga classes they offer here. Master Jackie is very nice joyful and lovable person. She always take care of us. I have been attending classes and workshops with Body & Brain for a little over 3 months now.

I first inquired into the classes as the result of a major transition/life struggle. My physical condition was relatively good but my mental and emotional status were in the toilet. A friend of mine had recommended meditation as a way to regain control, but I was not very successful with any of the guided meditations I was finding on the internet. After searching the web under "meditation classes", Body & Brain came up and it was the best call I ever made.

The classes provide a wonderful combination of gentle exercise and stretching with a tai chi based meditation. Focus on the body and breath while exercising as well as during meditation has been the best prescription for me at a time in my life when I questioned how I would ever find the strength to turn my life around and discover peace and happiness for myself again.

The instructor is very kind, inviting, and supportive; and her teachings have allowed me to face my struggles with a positive capable attitude instead of the negative defeated disposition that I started with. All the stress induced body aches and pains are gone and replaced with joints and muscles that are strong and free to move; and a mind and heart that are lighter and much less burdened.

There are no words that can depict how grateful I am to have discovered this class- it has truly made a difference in my physical, mental, and emotional well being.

I have been a member for about one month and I have really enjoyed all classes Body & Brain offers. I always feel so much better on days I have attended class. John is a kind and welcoming instructor and I enjoy how he leads the class. I tend to feel uncomfortable in new surroundings but I have always felt welcome and I always leave class happy. I also love how my body feels from the yoga and meditation. I have patellofemoral syndrome in my left knee and the stretching has really helped with the knee pain. I highly recommend Body & Brain Yoga and Tai Chi to all ages and all backgrounds. In the one month I have regularly attended classes, I already feel so much better overall! :)

I absolutely love this place! It's a beautiful studio, very warm and inviting. Master John the instructor is very well versed in his techniques. I leave there every week feeling amazing after my yoga class! I highly recommend checking this studio out. Before taking this style of yoga, I was unable to really relax so I could meditate. My mind was always running though a "to do list.' Now after taking classes for 6 months I can focus better and I feel calmer through my day with family and work. The 3-4 times a week (yoga and tai chi) has helped me stay alert and I can accomplish more without working harder. Every time I come to class it is like "rebooting my computer" and I leave with my body feeling energized and my mind focused. Thanks John!

This practice is so holistic that not only has my flexibility increased significantly since I started yet so has my calmness which I now call it versus reduced stress because continued practice has basically eliminated stress from work or just life. I feel great. I really enjoy class at the center because John, a very knowledgeable and genuine instructor, enables such an open and honest energy environment so that all participants, at different levels of physical state can grow overall health and well being. I am able to really focus on everything that I choose to accomplish and really focus on my family and work for success! John clearly has a commitment to the members that is sincere and motivating. Anyone interested in overall well being will learn a lot about their body and gain well being by this practice.

Before I started this practice, I could not touch my toes or play with my grandkids on the floor. In 6 months, my body has become flexible and I have a lot more confidence in my physical abilities. Dahn Yoga has helped me to deal with the pressures of work and home. My sleep patterns have changed, too. It is a commitment that I thought I would give up after a few weeks, but I love it and can't imagine not attending classes. I had to laugh at the person who wrote about the cost and having to buy a uniform- I never wear a uniform. They do have clothes that you can buy, but there is no rule that I am aware of that says you must wear a uniform -LOL! Also, I have met really great people at Dahn Yoga Roswell and when I miss a week, I am so happy to get back to it! John is the best teacher and mentor. Come try it out - I highly recommend that you just do it!
