I am OBSESSED with bodyrok! The instructors/front desk staff are all so fun and friendly and the studio is very well kept. I have been going 3x per week for about 6 weeks now and I have not only seen noticeable physical changes (hello abs) but also improvement in my balance, agility and flexibility. Would recommend to anyone trying to level up their overall fitness or add something new to their routine!! :)

I am new to Pilates, but this is such a great place to start! The workouts and instructors are amazing, and while I've always been intimidated to start pilates, I quickly got over that at BodyRok because of how friendly and helpful the instructors and staff were. The other people taking classes there are so welcoming and great, too! After two months, I'm already seeing my posture and strength improve, which were my primary goals. Love BODYROK!

My mom and I came to Pilates reformer for her first time. She had a blast!
Maria was informative and patience
I’ve been to mat Pilates in the green that BODYROK has put on and the environment is always welcoming and light.
Definitely will be seeing me more often. Reformer Pilates is definitely challenging but a good challenge, can’t wait til I try out a different class!!
Thanks again!

I will not give a bad rating because the people who run this business are kind, welcoming, and do a great job. The studio itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained.

That said, I want to share my experience in case it helps someone avoid the same misunderstanding I had. I’ve been doing traditional Pilates for over two years and decided to try a different studio. I knew this wasn’t a classic Pilates studio, but I didn’t expect the style to be so different. Before booking, I even called to ask which class would be best for beginners and was told all classes are beginner-friendly and can be modified to be more challenging.

In reality, the class I attended was extremely fast-paced and physically demanding—far from beginner-friendly. The transitions between movements were so quick that I barely had time to set up properly before moving again. For example, we were asked to hold a 2-minute plank while simultaneously moving the reformer, which was exhausting and incredibly challenging to maintain with correct form. Even with my Pilates experience, I struggled to keep up, and I can’t imagine a TRUE beginner managing it safely.

My main reason for practicing Pilates is to protect my back, but the speed of this workout made it nearly impossible to focus on proper spinal alignment. There was also no correction from the instructor, which added to my concerns about injury.

Just because an exercise is performed on a reformer doesn’t necessarily make it Pilates or Pilates-inspired, and in my opinion, this class leaned much more toward high-intensity interval training than Pilates principles.

To be clear, this is not a criticism, this is more of a warning for people who are true beginners to make sure they get detailed information before coming to this studio for the first time. It was simply far more intense and fast-paced than what I was looking for, and not the style of workout I expected based on my conversation beforehand.

Amazing community! The team here cares and it shows. Modifications are called out for each move which is extremely helpful as this was my first Pilates class. I keep coming back because it’s been so helpful in building muscle and creating a healthy routine. They switch up the routines, keeping it fresh and keeping me from being able to predict what’s coming! Love it!

Today was my first class at Bodyrok Midtown, and I’m already hooked! The workout was intense in the best way—fast-paced, challenging, and super effective. I felt my muscles working the entire time, and I know I’ll be sore tomorrow (in a good way!).

The instructor was encouraging and made the experience welcoming, even as a first-timer. The studio is clean, sleek, and filled with great energy. The music kept me motivated, and the vibe overall was so positive.

If you’re new to reformer-style workouts or just looking for a fresh challenge, Bodyrok Midtown is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back for my next class!

This was a great class for a beginner! Lauren was very clear at indicating cues and calling out the next moves. She also was great at calling out form reminders and helping keep me on track and provided modifications and adjustments based on skill. The class itself was HARD, but in a fun way.

Unfortunately this does not feel like a welcoming and inclusive space. Be mindful that you might be randomly singled out and refused entry or the option to reschedule or even refund (depending on who is on staff and if they decide they’re going to randomly enforce rules on you and let everyone else walk right through). I am disappointed with how I was treated, the lack of empathy, lack of fairness and micro-aggressions.

*edit* Because my experience and frustrations were dismissively labeled “inaccurate and baseless” I feel compelled to respond with additional facts.

This was my 3rd visit. My first 2 visits, I was not wearing grip socks. This had never been enforced before, which is why this incident felt targeted. Especially after watching several guests walk right into the room with shoes on. I guess the staff’s x-ray vision allowed her to confirm they were wearing the proper attire without stopping to ask them, like I was stopped. Also, I did not decline to wear grip socks, I declined to purchase grip socks from the same establishment that just unfairly singled me out.

No solutions were presented, so I asked for a refund. The response we received to this interaction was that they can inform the manager but quote, “I doubt they’ll give you a refund.” What a polite and graceful response!

It wasn’t until I saw and read out loud the paper behind the desk that said there can be a courtesy reschedule that my friend (the first time guest) was offered to be rescheduled. I was not offered to be rescheduled. If I didn’t read the paper, would my friend have even been offered to reschedule? I am having a hard time understand how the fairness and inclusivity was represented in this interaction where I had to advocate for a solution to the apathetic team who was perfectly okay with keeping our money.

I am just finishing up my intro month membership and feel the need to give this gym and the instructors the recognition they deserve. I was at a point in my life where my workouts were forced, lazy and barely existent. I knew I needed a more structured class to get motivated again. I was debating the normal F45 and Orange Theory that I have done before, which are also wonderful, but I still had to force myself to go and then I found BODYROK.
It is still early, but for right now, I will say, it is truly life changing. I'm not a super early riser, but for some reason I can get up for the 5:30am and 6:30am classes and Im excited to go. The classes are challenging, and varied. They change up the workouts and rotate muscle groups everyday.
The instructors are amazing and so welcoming and will always ask if you have injuries that day and if you're okay with hands on help. The gym is pristine and the vibes are immaculate. Each instructor has their own playlist for the day which will wake you up and get you moving or keep you moving in the afternoon after a long day at work. All of the instructors that I have had are high energy and motivate you every single class. I think I've found my home base.
Honestly, if you are lacking motivation just try a class or just go all in and book the full intro month. You won't regret it.

As a first timer my experience was a 10/10! Unfortunately due to traffic me and my friend were late. We called in advance, upon arrival we were accommodated immediately and moved to the next class! Our instructor Maria showed patience and motivation us through Cardio & Core. We also had parking validated which is another plus!

The best place to attend Pilates in Atlanta hands down. The instructors are very helpful and they’re going to make sure you aren’t left out if it’s your first time. Domonique, Lauren, Faryn and Jenn are my personal favorite coaches but they’re all great honestly.

I’ve been attending BodyRok since it opened last year in Midtown and I’ve really enjoyed it. The team including management are attentive to needs. I needed support with rehabilitating from a sciatica flare up that lasted months and the owner and instructors were patient and provided me with modifications.

The format of 40mins is a hard core workout.

I mostly like majority of the instructors yet we will all have our preferences based on style, instruction skill, and relatability. Lucky for all of us the team is diverse in a wide variety of ways that there is someone for everyone.

The price is reasonable.
Equipment is amazing.
Scheduling is simple.
Classes are available at varying times.

I have been going to this location for the past three months so far and it has been nothing but great for me while taking these classes. The classes are usually 40-45 minutes long and they can be intense from time to time. But what I like about BodyROK is that they don’t stick to the same old routines when it comes to these workouts. They do change up the rotation of classes along with having new sets so it can be challenging but interesting to learn these new routines. The instructors have been nothing but so kind and helpful along with encouraging others including myself during each class. They also do special events along with some monthly challenges and monthly themed classes as well. Meredith, the owner, has been also so amazing and kind to me as well during the times that we would run into each other in the studio! I love this studio a lot. Thank you, BodyRok Midtown!

They did recently opened up their newest location in Inman Park and if you do have a monthly unlimited membership, it works at both locations! So I would definitely recommend this place if you are new to reformer Pilates and wanted to try it out!

I have been going to BODYROK Midtown since they opened and I can’t recommend this studio more. It’s the best workout studio I have found in the 8 plus years I have lived in Atlanta. Meredith, the owner has curated a warm and inviting environment where both beginners and pros can feel welcome. The classes are challenging, but the instructors are great at queuing and will politely correct you if you are feeling lost. If you are wanting to try Pilates, BODYROK Midtown is a fantastic choice. This studio has helped me get stronger and I have made some incredible friends through these classes and the community events the team puts on.

The owner also just opened an Inman Park location that you should check out!

Bodyrok is amazing, in the past my main workout has always been weight training and I was looking for something to reinvigorate my workouts and this did it! These workouts are challenging but fun, and I feel like I really get the most out of my time by taking these classes. You're in there for a short time but you are truly working out your whole body in every move! You will leave feeling tired and strong.
