I enrolled my son here and I cannot express how great this program is for him and for our family. It is so amazing watching my son be challenged physically and mentally while also given room for error and growth in such a constructive and positive environment.

It is also so heartwarming to see how much care, dedication, and passion Ms. Bowen and her entire staff and team have for this place, the students and their families. You can see this directly from the students within the program who have been promoted to leadership positions. Love to see this.

Very professional studio. Learn martial arts, taekwondo and many life skills. Great for your child and even us old guys. I will be 60 this year and just tested for my third-degree black belt. My daughter is 12 and is third-degree, second level! Grandmaster Bowen has a great crew that helps keep things running smoothly and efficiently. All the instructors are great! The location is convenient off of of Rose Creek Drive in Towne Lake Parkway near Bells ferry Road. Check them out if you want to learn taekwondo and teach your children some discipline and life skills.

Great taekwondo studio. Grandmaster Bowen is very good with the kids and adults. She has several instructors I'd help her, and everyone is great. Located conveniently off of Rose Creek Drive not far from Bell ferry Road. Recent picture of our last class. This was testing for different black belt levels. Give them a try you won't regret it. Teach your kids focus, discipline, and self-defense.
My daughter is almost 13 and I am almost 60 and we are both thriving under her instruction. I just tested for third-degree black belt and my daughter is third-degree black belt level 2.

The absolute best!!! The staff is AMAZING! Our child has flourished since joining. If you are looking for your child to gain confidence, learn respect, make friends, learn to set boundaries, learn to communicate, understand commitment, and more this is the place you want to be! The team is like a big family.

I know I rated as we were joining but I had to come back and expound.

Going into this, I had no idea how my son would do with this training. But I knew he was being bullied, and had developed a lower self esteem and a quieter shy nature that wasn't always his way. So when he took an interest in breaking a board and joining at open house, I was curious but caution.

But now..

My son has so much more confidence, is better behaved in school and at home. He's driven to succeed and the change over the last 6 months has made a big impression on this happy Mama's heart, not to mention his whole family.

I will be forever grateful to Master Bowen, Master Jenkins, Master Bailey, Master Sexton and all the Tiger Rock team! It is truly an amazing program!

We love Tiger Rock! The entire master team there is just awesome! The instructors love what they do, and I see how my son is gaining self-confidence, showing and receiving respect, following fast-paced instructions, enhanced coordination, and just enjoying a good work out. They empathize a total and complete mind and body result. I love how at the end of each class they welcome the parents into the dojo, and we get to run through a final exercise with my son. Bowen's Tiger Rock Martial Arts is awesome. The studio is large, spacious, CLEAN, and comfortable to me as a spectator. The instructors are kind, caring, motivational--very inspirational! I have already seen a change in my child after just a few classes. This business is woman-owned and these folks have been in the business for close to 3 decades.

I can't say enough about Bowen's Tiger Rock! We knew that my son needed to be more active and he wasn't interested in traditional sports so we thought we'd give Tiger Rock a try. He fell in love! Each staff member (yes, every single one) is absolutely incredible. My son doesn't always do everything perfectly (who does, right?), but they rally around each child and encourage them to do their best in such an uplifting manner. (My son likes to give up if he isn't the best, so this is HUGE for us). If you've had a single thought about giving them a try, do it!

My daughter went to In for a 5 day free trial and was hooked! She has been with Bowen's Tiger Rock for several months now and it has changed her. She is more focused and willing to do anything - she doesn't shy away. Recently I was missing competition in my life so I also joined. I do not regret this decision. My family and I have had the pleasure of being a part of Bowen Tiger Rock's school now for the past two years and I wanted to say that it has been a pleasure being a part of this school and the community they have created not only for the children but for the parent's as well! We are sad to be leaving them only due to a relocation out of state! We were recommended by a Karate Teacher that we fell in love with at another school and he was leaving there and because he left, we left as well due to the lack of quality customer service and the drive was becoming to much as well! He happily recommended Bowen Tiger Rock to us and shared that Ms. Bowen and her school is where he went when he was young and it was because of her and her school that he had become the man we admired now teaching our children. It was a WIN for us a closer drive, but the main win for us was Ms. Bowen, Ms.Bailey and ALL the other Teacher's who were involved in teaching our children karate! Our children are Homeschooled and the first thing people want to ask is about them not being socialized with other children. We didn't want our kids to miss out on having fun, or being socialized due to what we wanted value wise for our children and our family. At this school there is a definite respect for Self, Your Parents, Your Teacher's, and Your Community this we found invaluable! This school also teaches life skills about Perseverance and Resiliency! Our son went through his recent blue belt testing and fell a little short to accomplish the goal of breaking two out of four boards and had to repeat his belt level again. For me as his Mom it hurt my heart dearly and I secretly prayed they would let him pass through but they didn't! That was not a bad thing as I am his Mom and his Teacher and this taught not only our son but our daughter about perseverance and being resilient, when you fall you get back up and to NEVER GIVE UP! He may not have passed that belt testing but when he went shortly after to his first District Tournament that same little boy won a bronze medal for breaking two out of the four boards! This lesson was not something we could have verbally taught either of our children but that they both learned due to this school and teaching him the true definition of Winners Never Quit and Quitters Never Win! So I highly recommend this school for ALL the Homeschool parents out there and just ALL the parent's out there blessed to be a part of this school and community in general AND now has inspired me to take karate as well! Thank you Ms. Bowen, Ms. Bailey and Staff for embracing not only our children but our entire family as well!

My 1st & 3rd grade daughters have been coming to Ms. Bowen's academy for over 2.5 years now. One of them just earned her black belt. Whereas this is a huge achievement, it is not the greatest thing about their experience here.

The greatest thing about Bowen's Tiger Rock is it builds character. I know that my girls are becoming responsible ladies AND that they are surrounded by children who are also of high character. These are the children I want my girls hanging out with as they get older; and the Tiger Rock instructors are the kind of adults I want my children to emulate. As a matter of fact, other than their mother, I can think of no female role model better than Ms. Bowen.

I rarely give a full five stars to anything because there is always room for improvement but this place is phenomenal! Master Bowen and staff have a way with children that I have never experienced in any other sport we have tried in our area (we have done them all!). The level of respect between student and teacher is amazing. Not only are they teaching them a sport, they are teaching them lessons they can use in life off the mat! My two daughters and I joined Bowen TKD after moving here this summer. We had been taking TKD in another state for a year and did not know what to expect moving to a different academy. Ms. Bowen and her staff made us feel very welcome and accepted into the program. Ms. Bowen is very energetic and teaches with positive reinforcement, which the kids really respond to. My girls really look up to her! Her staff is very knowledgeable as well and are really patient with the kids and the adults. They take the time to make sure you understand what you are doing. They teach you valuable skills to use in physical attacks and help the kids understand how to handle bullies and non-physical attacks. For the adults who are thinking about joining, Ms. Bowen's adult class is great. Everyone helps each other out and push you to be your best. We looked into several places to transfer to in the area but knew when we came to Bowen's TKD this was the place...and we were right! It is worth attending a trial class, both kids and adults!
