British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside LA Fitness, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

Oooof big big disappointment, they really just have yall out here teaching 5 kids at one time??? Like one adult for 5 kids is just plain nonsense. Keep you and your loved ones safe get a private one on one lesson.

Terrible place to bring your kids. They will not only threaten them but if you aren’t watching you can be assured your kid may end up with some trauma. The instructors are so careless and left my youngest unsupervised while they watched two other kids. I’m sorry but a class size of 5-6 kids per one adult is unacceptable. What happens if two kids are struggling to make it to the edge safely? Pick the best out of the two on who survives??

We love this swim school so much! This is actually the second summer that we attempted to let our (now) 7 yr old son learn how to swim. He was so afraid of going into the water by himself for a couple of years, but now after a bit less than 2 months (only one class per week), he can actually kick and swim for a short distance already. I am so proud of him and appreciate the instructors in the school so much. Natalee really is the best! All the other instructors we’ve ever had are also very good, but we’ve had Natalee most of the time for our schedule and she is just purely AMAZING! Taking an absence and rescheduling is also a breeze in the app.

Love this place so far! Everyone is nice, pricing is fair and the kids are being tested constantly and they graduate as soon as they complete each step! Also, shoutout to Ms. Sara and Ms. Natalie at the sugar loaf location! My son went from being scared to float since forever to suddenly graduating to Minnows in 3 sessions!

My 6 year old daughter has been attending British Swim School for eight months now, and I’ve been so impressed with her steady progress! Instructor Sarah has been absolutely wonderful—she’s incredibly patient, kind, and truly helps my daughter build confidence in the water.
I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to develop strong swimming habits the right way. The structured lessons and supportive instructors make a huge difference!
