Edit: She has manipulated another parent to post to combat my original post. Hilarious!!! Here's my original post:
I echo many of the other complaints of the owner, Melinda (lack of professionalism, overcharging, etc.). That alone deserves no stars. There are too many instances to list here. My daughter was a member for 4-5 years. We only stayed that long because she LOVED gymnastics, her coaches, and her peers. This is THE ONLY reason I'm giving 1 star. Over the years, she was in regular classes, camps, did mini-meet, was invited to teams, did two competition seasons, participated in fundraisers, patronized the trampoline park, and even hosted a birthday party there. So, our experience is vast.
With that said, my daughter suffered an injury during practice which took nearly four months to recover and be released from the doctor. Not one time during those months, did anyone from the gym check on her at all. She was devastated about not being able to do gymnastics. When she was finally approved to return to gymnastics, we discovered we were blocked from the team group and the team app. Before we reached out to the owner, ironically, my daughter told us she didn't want to return (she had no idea we were blocked). I guess she lost motivation and momentum from being out. So we decided not to move forward with any communication with the gym.
My point here is our loyalty and my daughter's passion was not honored nor valued. Her suffering an injury was a reason for her to be removed from the program? They didn't care about her. I'm not expecting them to love her they way we do but it seems loyalty should be honored, especially being part of the "team". Unfortunately, we weren't surprised given the many unpleasant interactions we've had with Melinda over that time. I'm sure she'll respond to this in her usual disgustingly, rude way. But I'm not here to argue, just voicing our experience. If anyone wants story time detailing those interactions, let me know.

My daughter is a current gymnast at Champions and she has had an amazing experience there. Melinda has always been attentive to her even when she was out. I wouldn’t expect Melinda to reach out to her if she was injured due to the fact that she has many others that she trains and has to be attentive to who are actually in the gym. As a responsible parent, if she did needed to know something I would tell her personally myself. My daughter had grown substantially since she has joined this gym not only through her skills but her ability to also be a leader. Moving from a different state I didn’t know what to expect but I’m glad I took that chance and didn’t listen to the naysayers. Thank you Melinda and your staff for helping my daughter thrive!

Overall, it's a nice place. From the outside, I was expecting a little more, but once inside, it was decent. They offer gymnastics on one side and trampolines on the other, which is a fun setup for kids. It's a great small spot for a family or friends gathering not a lot of space, but just enough to let the kids run around and burn off energy while you take a breather from parenting. Perfect for a short outing when you need a little break!

My daughter has been doing gymnastics here since January and LOVES it. The coaches are the perfect blend of kind and firm. And my kids love the trampolines. Perfect way to entertain them during classes.

Whoever the disrespectful person is that works here needs to be trained on customer relations because there’s no way they should be responding to people via email being disrespectful!

Edit!
This is an unfortunate response from you as an owner. I always read to documents and policies I am given from companies I do business with, unlike most sign and go parents. In your policy it states “Single holiday breaks will allow for make-up days upon request”. When I asked your staff about October 13 and 14th, November 11th, January 19 and 20th, February 16 and 17th, March 15, 16th and 17th (the 5 months I was referring to), she stated those don’t get tokens either-so whether it was a lack of knowledge or if that is your policy, that is ridiculous. That means each of those months are allotted 2-3 classes for $100 a month. This is your business, obviously charge whatever you want. My complaint is that my account was overcharged numerous times (I did not overpay as you stated) when I brought it to your attention. I also requested a message from the owner and had not received one to go over this. My little tuition won’t hurt your business anyways but don’t insult me with false statements on the kind of client I am. You could’ve spoke with my husband face to face regarding this matter yesterday or called me directly or even left me a message, but weirdly brought it to my review.
Now, in regards to the type of services you offer… the gymnastics program is fine. We’ve had better and had worse. Per class divided by our monthly fee has never exceeded $25 for an hour class. The only reason I brought this up is because since June upon officially joining, my child has done the same circuit. No progress, no advancement options. So it is unfortunate we won’t be able to rectify this. It was definitely possible before this message.
————————————————————————
I was overcharged not once, not twice but three times. The manager will not call me back in regards to make up classes. The staff doesn’t keep track of any type of progress from my student. We pay $100 a month for 1 class a week for 1 hour. 5 months out of the year the building is closed or on vacation….. how can you justify more then $25 per class for circuit gymnastics?

We absolutely love it here. We’d gone in to the trampoline park, while there my daughter noticed this facility offered gymnastics. The owner and other staff are friendly, informative and a pleasure to be around. The prices are reasonable, facility is clean and all around a fine place for kids to have fun. It’s everything into one

We are new to the area, and one of my concerns anytime we PCS is how my daughter will fit in, make friends, and is there a gymnastics program nearby. I had contacted Malinda the second we got orders to FT Stewart, and she was amazing. She was welcoming, extremely helpful, and very understanding of the challenges my child faced moving during competition season. She ordered her a competition leotard before we even arrived and went out of her way to help my daughter overcome her new kid anxiety upon arrival. We are incredibly thankful to be a part of the champion gymnastics unlimited family. 🙌

I honestly don’t know what I would do without this gym and the owner! We have been to gyms in three different states and Champion Gymnastics has made a huge difference in not only my children’s growth in gymnastics and ninja but also socially and emotionally. The owner and coaches truly care about their students, they are a huge blessing!

I didn't believe it at first but now I see why customers and employees talk so low about and do not like the owner Melinda… after having had our birthday party there for 10 kids she made the siblings pay extra (full party price, which is double and they were not even part of the party initially) even though I had five more open slots she would not refund the money and very rudely said to give parents socks and tell them to jump… After I had told the team that I was unsatisfied with how things were handled at the party, Melinda twisted all their words and decided to kick my 3-year-old daughter out of the program effective immediately (is that legal?) which is really petty and honestly just disgusting… I also had one more makeup lesson bc i missed one day and when I called and asked about if i could schedule this one last class or get a refund she said there are no refunds and hung up in my face.. very rude and disrespectful that she won't let my daughter participate for something that i paid for.. which basically she is stealing money from me... but this is a small town and this is what i honestly expected having heard about her disgusting personality, most people would try to make things right but not this person...
This is not a way to do business as she's losing more customers than she's making and the looks of the gym are proof of that.. water is leaking everywhere every time it rains and the kids have to walk through buckets with water… the roof is coming down and it looks really dangerous as you can see that pieces are coming off right above the trampoline space and the entire gym in general… during the summer it is very smelly and too hot to do gymnastics...
The coaches (Robby and Sam and the other coach who does mini and me classes i can't remember her name?) are really nice and experienced. My baby girls loved doing gymnastics with them! :-)
champions gymnastics is definitely NOT the place to be but unfortunately Hinesville has not much to offer and that's the only reason in my opinion her gym is even up and running…
If i could i would give -5 stars
Having seen responses to older reviews, I'm expecting a whole paragraph as a response from her already... Sigh

I was really torn about whether or not to leave a review. My child attended for roughly one year, and overall she enjoyed it. The coaches are very nice, and do a phenomenal job.
However, there were some things that didn’t sit right with me. For one, the ac. It didn’t have one for a long time, and was too hot even just to sit in, let alone do gymnastics. I know they’ve added some units, and it has helped some, but not enough. The owners had decided to add a trampoline park to the gym, which ate up half of the gym. I understand they had their reasons, but I felt it took away from the gymnastics, and decided we would go elsewhere.
I didn’t hate this place, but I didn’t love it either. If I remember correctly, they offer trial classes, which I would recommend! It wasn’t the right fit for us, but it may be for you!

I have seen this coach several times at competitions all through out Georgia. Her athletes are some of the top in the state! She puts her heart and soul into coaching. I am a gymnastics coach as well and can honestly say that it is not an easy job. Gymnastics will never be a cheap sport or a “fair” one. It is meant to build confidence and strength. With this business there is no doubt that your gymnast will get that!

We’ve been going to champion for 3 years now. My daughter started in rec and is now on team. She has learned so much in the last 3 years. The coaches are fun when they need to be and tough when they need to be! They teach my daughter everything she needs to know to be prepared for competition season. They record her and show her exactly what she needs to change to become a better gymnast. I hope her next coaches are as good as the ones at champion when we pcs

I registered my son for summer camp and was assured that the staff was well equip to handle special needs children because I wanted to be clear that my son has trouble with understanding directions or instructions at times. He firmly rejected the idea of going there the rest of the week after the first day, but on that Fri. he had a trial for gymnastics in which the owner was nasty and rude and basically said she didnt deal with the children if they had trouble with instruction, that an adult would need to oversee them, which made since to me in why my son was adamant about not going to camp each day and why is told me he cried the first day there. I am so grateful that I went with my gut instinct and didn't make him go. This is a child who loves to do everything he is involved in and it literally took him psyching himself out, to even head into the place for this trial...and he is special needs! Needless to say, when someonr is flayout rude to us, we don't give them our business, so we left. The owner never returned my call about a refund and that's okay. She better hold tight to any money she gets because when you are impersonal as she, you don't last long in business.
