We love this gym and our Jayhawks family. We have watched our daughter grow so much over the past three years and we attribute that to all of the coaches who individually have contributed- whether that be as her cheer coach, tumbling coach, or just a motivating comment in passing.

My 5 year old loves tumbling here! We are enjoying our experience and she is learning so much! Editing to add- my daughter is now 7. She is literally growing up at this gym. We are here almost every day. My daughter is completely obsessed! This is her second year of allstar cheer and she LOVES it! Her skills have advanced beyond belief and she has developed a lot of true friendships. These girls bond inside and outside of the gym and they will remember these days forever!! ❤️ 2024- editing again- she's now 8 and this is her 3rd season on a full year team. We still LOVE it! There is nowhere else she would rather be!

My daughter has been at Jayhawks Grayson for almost 3 years. Started as a half year and loved it so much she begged to go full year. The staff is fantastic. You genuinely feel like a part of a family. Her stunting skills are growing daily and they continue to work with care on her tumbling despite injury setbacks. She would spend everyday at the gym if she could. The positive impact is immeasurable.

Started off very promising. I eventually found the positivity to be all lip service. There is a lack of clear, organized communication from the owner down. Often didn’t have times or places to meet after start times, wasn’t notified of coach changes even though you drop your child alone at the gym. For the price you pay, you do not receive a requisite product. Updated to say, I have an ~$800 credit on my account for my child’s tuition, they refuse to return. Just, don’t do it.

Our daughter has been at Jayhawks for 5 years now and is preparing for her second trip to Summit. Jayhawks has been like a second home. The coaches have been great and the experience has taught her so many things. How to work hard, how to win, how to lose, how to be a teammate. She has gained so much confidence and is incredibly fit in a day and age when sitting on the couch with your device is the norm for kids. I would highly recommend Jayhawks. Sadly we moved out of the area and were commuting about an hour each way but now with middle school cheer and all star cheer we need to make a different arrangement. We are incredibly grateful for our time at Grayson Jayhawks.

Extremely unprofessional staff and owner. The adult staff retaliated against a child for standing up for what was morally and ethically right. They are incredibly rude and condescending and did not fulfill their part of an agreement they agreed to. When they were made aware if this, they took a cowardly way out and took it out on my child.

The team was broken into groups to practice on their own without direct supervisor. My and other children were either injured or were 'supervised' by other children in their same age group who were not qualified to lead the practice. The coaches were busy coaching other classes but did not directly supervise my child's group (their words).

When the gym staff were made aware of this, and after I asked for a meeting to discuss this (they promised and agreed to meet) my child was dismissed from the team which has potentially put the team's success at risk by replacing her right before the biggest event of the year. Nevermind they let down a child by doing this - they clearly don't care.

Point is, they don't care about the children they coach or the teams they lead - just money. Sad because we've been here for several years and it wasn't always this way, but the trend is very clear.

This gym started out well but has gone down hill drastically over the last several months.

This gym is absolutely amazing! The coaches have a vested interest in every child, and work to build athletes on an individual and team level. The Jayhawks organization is second to none with both communication and with constantly striving to attain a higher level of mastery all while teaching children about both cheer AND life.

This is a nice little, well-cared for daycare. While I don't have children this age, it looks like little ones would be in good hands. I met the owner who clearly loves children.
