Been going for nine months now. All instructors are fantastic, each one with a different style. The studio is nice and clean and the whole staff is super friendly and supportive. Great environment to get in shape 😁

Been a member for 4.5 years and taken almost 900 classes yet today was the last straw. The customer service is inconsistent and chastain studio’s management lacks awareness and knowledge. Note the owner John Martin is the same for club Pilates chastain, buckhead, sandy springs and Brookhaven and allows unlimited usage of all 4 studios but chastain is newest studio and management is ill trained.

Sunday 10/19/25 I received a phone calls about a level 2 class (never have i been called at home on a weekday about a class from a studio which i found invasive) I was registered for the following day. Ashley the manager claimed i had not been approved to take the class yet i had taken a level 2 class so I called and explained that to her. Without my knowledge Ashley removed me from the class with that instructor (Renee) even though I had taken a level 2 on oct 11 with renee but ashley only looked at chastain entrees not the other 3 studios as ashley is rude and condescending and evidently managers don’t communicate with one another. Ashley did not believe i had taken an advanced class. So i left a negative comment on instagram. Once I sent Ashley and the owner email showing their mistake they completely erased all comments and treated me with suspicion. This behavior was unprofessional, unsettling and validating my desire to quit which had been on my mind for almost a year as all the best instructors left. They stopped communicating as if nothing happened and refused to acknowledge their mistake and cancelled my membership. This is how you are treated when they make a mistake and you make others aware of it. What I experienced was silencing a person for leaving negative feedback and for identifying unprofessional practices of a studio manager yet this behavior is encouraged as profit is the only concern here. Given the owners business history of failed entrepreneur start ups in various arenas I would not be surprised if history repeats itself with these poorly managed studios trying to cover construction costs by over charging on late fees, cancellation fees and increasing monthly dues to almost double what most of us were paying when we joined in 2021 (i paid $149 for unlimited per month). Studio has high instructor and staff turnover and disputes are handled with confrontation. I would look elsewhere. Poor customer service

Love the classes, hate the fees. Life happens and sometimes there will need to be a cancellation several hours before class. Why are you charging cancellation fees for a class I’ve already paid for with my over $200 a month unlimited membership? It doesn’t make sense. Heaven forbid there be an emergency, a car breakdown, or you just don’t feel well when you wake up in the morning. Companies that charge these extra fees are not right. It’s morally not right. This policy should be reconsidered. Because again, the class is ALREADY paid for.

I have practiced pilates for over 20 years and learned the classical way. I was excited when Club Pilates opened in Buckhead. Classes had become expensive and fewer times were offered making it difficult to be consistent which is key when practicing Pilates(or any exercise method for that matter). After 1-2 years as the popularity grew it became harder and harder to get into a class. I finally cancelled my membership. Then the Chastain location open this year near me and I decided to give it a try. A lot changed with their “Pilates” practice since I first joined years ago. The Chastain location is larger so booking really hasnt been the issue. (Do not like the billing practice, you have to watch it- they charge for missed or late cancels!) My main problem with it is that it is NOT pilates but a loosely based routine of some elements of the method. The instructors don’t count but time your reps which leads to inconsistence movements. They have also modified many of the movements and there is no flow. I find it frustrating and hard to follow. On the plus side I am seeing results but I worry about injury due to the inconsistency. I will definitely keep with level one classes. There isnt much difference in level 1 and 1.5 and I find the level 1 classes more consistent. I find that most of the instructors arent that knowledgeable about the true Pilates method and are trained by the Club Pilates method. There are some that are better than others and you can tell who is good as their classes fill up quickly. I really do not like the new format Club Pilates has adopted over the years and am looking into other alternatives.

Tiffanie had a very relaxing demeanor and vocal cueing style. I enjoyed the variety of moves and got a great workout experience. My only critique would be that the countdowns to suggest how many more reps we should complete were way too fast for me to do the move with good form. I usually got 2-3 reps in, when she was counting out 5 reps.

I’ve been going to this studio for a couple months now and I absolutely love it! All of the instructors that I’ve had have been great. I mostly take classes from Makayla and some with Robyn and they are both fantastic teachers! Classes are challenging but not unapproachable and give you a lot of flexibility to make each exercise harder or easier depending on what you’re up to trying. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone interested in trying Pilates or experienced in Pilates!

Beware — the studio is choosing to enforce their cancellation fee policy with absolutely no wiggle room whatsoever. Members schmembers, am I right ?

It’s a new studio. The classes are all mostly full with waitlists. I was trying to get into a class the next day and waitlisted for two with the intention of dropping off the second if i got into the first. I went to bed that night and got into both while i was sleeping. I called the studio right as they opened explaining the situation and asking if they could take me out of the later one (to give ample time for the next person on the waitlist after me). To note — it’s ENTIRELY the studio’s choice to be cool about these situations and I’ve never had issues over years when calling in before to avoid the fee if there’s a decent explanation/reason. This is including Brookhaven loc which is all under same owner.
Hours go by. I arrive to my class I see I’m still enrolled in the second one. Time is now running out to fill the spot. I ask the front desk person who tells me I was outside of the free cancel window (yep— aware. That’s why I called to be taken off and didn’t cancel myself) and that I’ll have to use my one courtesy cancel for the entire (!!!) year on this. I’m at this point assuming they are kidding. They aren’t. I’m told “there is nothing they can do”. I asked to speak to the manager.
Manager proceeds to rattle off a memorized explanation from a training book that the instructors don’t get paid if the classes aren’t full. It’s the policy. Yada yada.
Let’s follow that logic. The person that canceled freeing up my spot overnight already is paying a late cancel fee. How many cancel fees does the studio need for one class spot that likely will still fill? There was also a waitlist behind me to fill my spot anyway. They should have moved to next waitlist person right away if the instructors pay was truly the concern. Instead they intentionally left me in the class all day to process my “single courtesy cancel for the year”…ensuring the spot would go empty for the instructor.

I understand the cancelation policy needs to exist. It’s a deterrent. Etc etc. I make a point to not cancel OR I pay the late fee if my plans change. I’ve been a member at 4 different club Pilates locations over the last 10 years and I’ve never once experienced such a blatant cash grab approach before for a reasonable situation that comes up. Which let’s be honest likely could be more than once per year. Your members are humans not robots and your business model shouldn’t rely on cancel fees to hit your profit margins.

This was a poor business decision by the studio. You have real life and business decisions you choose to make every day dealing with people and you have policies to fall back on.
Hopefully they cover customer service skills and resolution tactics in the next training session. How about “hey we removed you this time, but we are going to be firm on this going forward. Here’s why….” Insert an actually compelling reason why.

Regardless I’ve never felt compelled to write a bad review for any business before this.

Overall the studio is fine. Equipment is new. Instructors are good. They went with fabric straps for the classrooms which is a foul choice as you can’t sanitize them after each person and people have sweaty hands and gross feet. They already stink.
And not a fan of management.
