I signed up my membership in Nov 2022. I love the location cause there's great equipment and it's rarely busy when I go so I don't have to wait long for machines to work out. I recently have realized I don't have enough time to spend there to justify the monthly cost. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 3 months now & each time I'm told something different. I never renewed my membership after the first year but it's somehow continued without my knowledge that it was renewing on a yearly basis. The current staff says it's the previous staff that did it but still are unable to help. Now I'm still paying for a membership that I don't use & that I never signed off on renewing. So yes it's great on the equipment ect but if you sign up it's for an unknown amount of time apparently

Best gym in Dalton. Ever since the new management has taken over, the gym is clean and well kept. Thanks to the young lady and her new team managing our favorite gym. It has been a much needed change in house keep and rules. People are friendlier and have much happier energy all throughout the gym. Thanks for taking pride in our local gym that we know and love. This woman does not need to be doing all that she's doing around this gym. No one is helping this lady other than her own staff that she brought in. I understand people don't like change, but change is good. It was long overdue. The last staff were not bad people, but it's time to move on. I haven't spoken much to the new staff, but she definitely has pride and cares about positive change here. I've been here a year, my wife and I definitely see the gym heading in the right direction. Keep up the great work 👍🏽

If you’re looking for a gym, Core One Fitness is NOT it. The place is a straight up joke who offers a “child center” but will kick you out because the gym itself does not follow the rules and laws of the “child center”. I got told I couldn’t bring my autistic 3 year old because he doesn’t act like the other kids and the new manager has “worked with autistic kids before so she knows how they’re supposed to act”. I left a review on google about how they need to improve the child center to make it more safe for the children and she confronted me at the gym and made it personal and made sure to make a problem out of every move I made in the gym because she was mad about the review. She then told me I couldn’t leave my other child in the “child center” because it wasn’t properly cleaned and a pencil ended up in the floor and she got ahold of it. Her response was “I don’t know how that ended up there but you can’t leave your kids here anymore unless you have a babysitter”. which defeats the whole purpose. I have used this gym for 2 YEARS with the old management and NEVER had any issues whatsoever until the new management. She tried her hardest to make the situation hostile and threatened me with cameras when I never reacted towards her. She will tell you that there is a cancellation fee of $50 but when you ask to see the contract with your signature about it, she can’t show it. That place has went to complete trash since the old management left. Don’t consider Core One all because they have a “child center”.

I have 24/7 gym membership with core one and the new lady in the front desk locked the doors she had said the pad for the key fob was broken I tried an scanned my key fob an it made a noise like it unlocked…. But the doors was locked. I have been going to that gym for bout 3 years never had any issues till now with this new lady…

If I could give a 0 I would the same owner of this establishment closed the branch in Fort Oglethorpe. But refuses to give me the 28 dollars he charged me 2 days earlier. This is extremely unprofessional and he should conduct himself in a more professional manner if he wants to keep his remaining business afloat. If you have a membership here I would watch my account because once the money comes out it ain’t coming back. I do not recommend this gym. I know of several others who this happened as well.

prices way too high. You will pay at least $58 - $100 to sign up which is ridiculous. And if you try to cancel which is near impossible you will have to pay an additional $50 plus one final payment due to a 30 day notice. Do yourself a favor and go check out 1440 in the mall. 1440 is only $14 to sign up with no cancellation fees and memberships are NO CONTRACT!. 1440 is also 24/7 which is included free in their membership plan whereas core one will charge you an additional $120 a year for 24/7

I was lied to & told I was signing a month to month membership but it was actually a CONTRACT! The cancellation fee is $50 + another month & you can’t even use the gym. You’re literally stuck once you sign up. I lost my job and I can no longer afford to pay and I can’t even get out of it. Prices range up to $40/mo + a $29 “maintenance fee” that gets charged every 6 months. You have to pay $10/mo extra to get 24/7 access and they charge a $79 or $49 registration. Their month to month membership is about $107 upfront. Their CONTRACTS that you can’t break for nothing are not worth the seemingly “cheap” price. No other gym is town charges $60/year in MAINTENANCE FEES! 1440 includes 24/7 access with no up charge. The gym is raggedy, the ceiling is literally falling apart on you. If you don’t believe me take a look for yourself. The back of the gym where the free weight squat rack is located is next to all the exposed electrical wiring and equipment. I will not be renewing.

This is one of the best gym in dalton. They have friendly staff, competitive prices, and old school iron weights. They have a great selection of plate loaded machines for every muscle group. Great squat rack, and the gym is usually not overly packed like sardines, i can usually always use the machine im wanting to use. The cardio department is the only thing i wish they had more of, and a newer kind of resistance cable machine. The gym offers a 24/7 membership with a key fob entry. Its a great place if u wanna lift heavy.

Not clean, unfinished, even has a very bad odor at times and employees are always late! Not hygienic at all! Walked in several times and a man would be sleeping in there. All the machines are cramped up. No space at all and the air conditioning isn’t on at all times either which is usually when it starts to smell like somethings dead in the back.
