I have been working with my Crunch trainer Destinee for about a month. She is awesome! Such a nice person and really knows her stuff. I am not fit (yet) and Destinee pushes me just enough to make progress but not be unbearably sore the next day. She also makes sure I’m using the right form to avoid injury and adjusts exercises based on my feedback. I highly recommend her.
I also really like the recovery area with hydro massage, cryotherapy, chair massage and infrared sauna. If you’re over 50 you need these!

Crunch fitness took $75 out of my account for an “annual fee” that they never gave me a date for! The price on my contract says “tbd” but it was never discussed with me how much the annual fee was nor was the date indicated in the contract. Nice gym, half ass policies. And unhelpful people.

I was mocked and ridiculed here like I got racist. I'm a VIP peak member, so I asked for a massage machine service, but she pretended she didn't understand it at first, and she deliberately let me use a broken machine. I went back and asked her for a proper machine, and she seemed to know it from the beginning, and the lack of a word of apology upset me. I was not taking an English class from her here, and I'm a VIP member, but I don't know why I should beg her me to use that massage machine , or why I should be mocked and ridiculed for not speaking good English. Her name was Anna. She worked at the front. Regardless race and English, I just asked for basic services as a customer.
I don't know why I should be humiliated, and what I felt here was that she just didn't look professional, with different attitudes depending on race or people.

The newly opened gym in Duluth charged me a $1 membership fee, but when I went there later, they told me it was just an initial fee, not a full membership fee, and I had to pay for three consecutive months without being able to cancel. Now they've deducted another $60 for the annual fee. In just two and a half months, they've deducted $145 from my account. The contract was very deceptive; you have to take it home and study it carefully, not just believe the attractive parts they tell you. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied.

I like the gym and it’s really close to my apartment but the parking lot is a mess, from 5-8 pm you can’t find parking. There’s another gym on the other side of the complex, it’s just not planned well. There’s way too many people that go at the peak hours, they need more locations to alleviate the peak hours. And the staff is too much into “doing their job” by asking literally every time I come to sign up with my own membership because I only come with my husband, using his guest pass that he intentionally signed up for the more expensive plan so that way I could come with him every time. I also don’t have my own car so it wouldn’t even make sense to have my own membership, but I would really appreciate if they would stop asking me to sign up like the same associate will ask me and then if they’re not there a different employee will ask me as well like why would you even offer the more expensive plan with unlimited free guest if your just going to “do your job” and pester me about it when I come to work out.

I’ve been training with Eric for month, and he is honestly one of the best personal trainers I’ve ever worked with. What I appreciate the most about him is his patience and the way he pays attention to form. He doesn’t just count reps, he explains what each exercise is supposed to target, how to activate the right muscles, and how to avoid injury. Every time I train with him, I can actually feel the difference immediately.

Eric is also incredibly encouraging without being pushy. He knows exactly how much to challenge me while still making me feel capable and confident. He gives really helpful advice about diet, recovery, and daily habits that support my goals. Because of his guidance, my body shape has changed a lot, I feel stronger, more toned, and overall just healthier.

Another reason I keep training with him is that he genuinely cares about my progress. He remembers what we’ve worked on, adjusts the plan based on how my body responds, and celebrates small improvements with me. It makes training enjoyable instead of stressful.

Crunch Duluth is brand new, super clean, and full of modern machines that make workouts feel easier and more effective. It’s honestly one of the nicest gyms I’ve been in. With the combination of a great facility and a trainer like Eric, I feel like I’m getting amazing value for the price.

Overall, it is a fantastic gym, but has a few quirks*. On the plus side, staff is super friendly, great selection of classes, the newest equipment, very clean and bright. From a quirks perspective: The ladies room has almost no mirrors, and no place to beautify after a workout. There is only one water fountain for the entire gym. No area to stretch or do abs. Parking is already an issue.

Only 4 starts because of the lack of water fountains and the ONE that is there, tastes like chemicals. And this is my 4th time mentioning it 🫥 and the weights constantly not being on their corrective spaces. It’s hard to keep organized, but it’d be nice to see people trying to keep order. As someone who’s been in the bodybuilder/power lifter world for 10+ years, it was fun to get new ideas, learn new movements, and even bounce ideas off of each other. They have every fun equipment piece you can think of- there COULD be another hack squat-eventually, that would be super 🫶🏼🥳
I was a member of the John's Creek location many years ago and was thrilled that one opened so close to home! Thank you for the gorgeous gym and the many amenities at such an affordable rate 💙 the people of Duluth and surrounding cities talked about it for over a year and the buzz is everywhere 🤩 keep up the great work!

Ever since I heard abt Crunch opening on Duluth. I looked at their website consistently to see if it opened. I live how it’s so spacious with lots of equipments. When I took my brother to sign up and when I had a question about payment, staffs were all friendly and nice. It’s good to finally have Crunch around where ai live!

They would not let me in as a guest of my fiancé because I didn't have my ID even though I made my
ID the background on my PHYSICAL phone and said I would gladly leave it with them. Then suddenly my identification card didn't matter if I paid to enter with a day pass? | WILL never return. It's not lifetime or remotely in the caliber so let's not pretend!

I had my kickoff appointment with Coach Hannah L., and it was a great experience. She was patient, listened closely to my goals, and explained the personal training options in a way that made sense. She tailored a workout to my needs and adjusted in real time so I felt supported the whole session. The gym overall seems caring and helpful. One of the managers stepped in to go over pricing--he was friendly but a bit fast-paced. I really appreciated that Hannah stayed focused on what would work best for me. I genuinely feel she’ll be a great trainer match for my goals, and I’m looking forward to continuing with her in the near future.

Already Crunch members at another location, we tried to use a one-day pass at Crunch Duluth to check out the gym before upgrading to a multi-gym membership. They refused to honor the pass simply because we’re existing members. Pretty disappointing experience — we were genuinely considering upgrading but this left a bad impression.
