So ready for Crunch! Was at a previous very small & private gym before so this gym will be a change but the staff is amazing. The morning staff is amazing. Brooke and Yessenia are top-tier! Brooke also worked at my previous gym and assured me that she would help with anything or if I get overwhelmed she will be there. So glad this gym has wonderful employees and offer amazing classes. Can’t wait to get my first workout in Monday!

Nice gym, pretty clean good amount of machines which cuts down wait times. Staff seems nice especially when they stop you when leaving to do a review… hahaha Only 1 thing I would like to see is when trainers are training someone to also make sure they teach a little bit of etiquette to their clients by being an example. Might be a bit petty here but today I was watching my form while training and a trainer got right in front of me when there was space to the other side of their bench they were on to not get right in front of me. Then the client did the same thing.

Amazing gym, and great amenities. I love the coach coaches, and great atmosphere. I’ve been going here since the gym has been open, the parking lot is always crowded, but if you want a good workout without many people, try coming in early for a sweat-sesh. The classes they have available is amazing in the HIITzone.
Having the highest membership for only $27.50 is a must-have, and the promos are great as well. I have already gotten 2 other people into this gym and both LOVE IT.
Will continue coming here for as long as the business stays.

As a 65yo woman, I was reluctant to join a gym. At the urging of my gf’s , I became a Crunch Gainesville member. In addition to my personal training sessions with Jennifer, which are personally tailored to my non-existent fitness capabilities, I take advantage of multiple yoga, Pilates and dance fitness classes. I enjoy all of the instructors and appreciate their challenging workouts. The sauna and the hydro chairs are a wonderful bonus. Every single staff member has been friendly and accommodating. I am having the time of my life here and think everyone should be able to experience what I’m able to experience at Crunch Fitness Highly recommend it

The Good and the Bad - my wife and I have now been going to the Gainesville GA Crunch for over a month. The facility keeps getting better for me instead of becoming stagnant. This is a place where you will have all the equipment you will ever need (legs and glutes included) / and where you can always find an alternative machine - or exercise should your favorite machine be under use by another gym rat. IRON SHARPENS IRON people - and everywhere you look you can find someone doing a variant of an exercise that you do or that you had no clue how to do / even old guys can learn many new moves here. Clients here are mixed from your younger lions to the old wise wolves still getting it - and the mix female to male is about equal - but the absolute best observation here is that most of the people working out at Crunch Gainesville are pretty serious about becoming better than their yesterday. For me - Today I got to see my new favorite shirt and motivation - Valhalla Awaits! Shirt Rocks and got to get me a version. The management and sales team actually do a really good job it seems at this place - hats off Gustavo / Jake / Brenna - and all others making our visits great. The bad - the parking can be challenging - deal with it - as the gym is WELL WORTH that small hassle - best machines / best value / and best vibe - no excuses here not to get yourself better.

They will try to take you money. I signed up for promotional deal $1 a week later they took $50 . I have called to cancel haven't been helped i request to cancel membership online twice no one has reach other either time. Save your money and time find a better gym.

This gym has serious staff knowledge and training problems. Along with a very bad software system and structure for any problem that arise with billing. My wife and her friend were wrongfully charged for personal training classes, after they cancelled, due to the mistake of the PT employee that submitted the cancellation with an incorrect date (this was admitted to us by this employee’s manager). It took over a month to get to the point of the gym owning up to its mistake and submitting a refund request. By this time I had requested charge backs through my bank because it was not looking likely the gym was going to comply. They proceeded to deny one of the three charges I disputed and I am in another long term battle of getting the last refund. I am not exaggerating when I say my wife and I have collectively called this gym more than 15 times trying to get ahold of the PT manager and then when we do it’s all empty promises of claiming to reach out to the district manager to get it resolved. We never hear back like they say we will and nothing is being done at the location’s management level. It is literally going to be easier and faster to just go through small claims court in Hall County for the money than keep up these charades.

Great equipment, but why the hell do the employees harass you every time you walk in the door? I’ve been going here for about 2 months now and EVERY time I walk in someone either asks me to sign up for a class (even if you tell them no, they still persist, they’ll literally follow you around) or they ask me to leave a review on google or like their posts on Facebook? And when I try to ignore them they start yelling at me from across the gym to sign up for something. So heres your review, now quit asking me about it. (They won’t) I think I speak for most people when I say… I just want to work out guys, this is stupid. The app already gives you popups to sign up for a class every time you open it to scan in. I don’t need the incredibly persistent employees doing it as well. Its so annoying it has me on the verge of canceling my membership.

I am really enjoying the gym and getting back into fitness. The atmosphere is fantastic and the classes offer a wide variety of workouts. I enjoy the HIITzone classes and Oscar is one of the best instructors. Taylor V. makes Barbell 45 funn, too...even at 5:30 in the morning. All the staff is so nice and it makes coming to the gym more likely hobby instead of a chore.

I tried to cancel my membership since I no longer have a car to get there. I was told that the only way I can cancel is in person. I asked if I could send a letter or something and the answer was no. So even if I have no means to get to the gym, I have to keep paying every month? Ridiculous. I find it hard to believe that no other options are available.

Gym itself is great and has plenty of options for whatever kind of exercise you prefer. That being said, this gym is overcrowded basically any day of the week at anytime. The parking lot is atrocious and you likely won’t find parking within reasonable distance unless you constantly drive in circles or park illegally. The music is extremely loud near the cardio section so if you like to watch shows while on the treadmill, make sure you also like hearing terrible rap remixes in the background as well. The majority of staff is nice and helpful, but I’ve had a couple bad interactions including worker interrupting me in the middle of a set of heavy squats just to ask me a useless question. The bathrooms are also always a bit of a mess and never have they had soap in the dispensers. This gym has potential to be 5 stars but unfortunately I won’t be back until these issues are figured out a bit more.

This place is a scam. Have been trying to cancel the membership since May before they even opened and was told it would be canceled no problem. Next thing I know im being charged over 100 in a week. I called and was told I would need to come in to sign paperwork, which I came in and then was told there was a fee to cancel which I wasn't told any time I called to cancel the membership. It has be 3 weeks since I went up there to cancel membership in person and now I've been charged almost every week the same $72 fee. I have called repeatedly to get this matter resolved and this morning I was told that I owe another almost $100 for "late fees"...when i haven't even used this place and have been trying to cancel since May. This place is a rip off and a scam to get more money from you at every turn. The staff are poorly trained and give out misinformation at every turn. Im usually very easy going but this situation is ridiculous. If I had been told in May that I would need to sign paperwork and pay a cancelation fee I would have done so in May and avoided all of this nonsense.

Don was my trainer at my crunch kickoff and he was awesome! I like the group fitness classes. The amount of time to take to find a parking spot is insane..... Have to circle parking lot so many times and some people are doing creative parking. The demand for the gym is higher than the amount of parking spaces due to other businesses in same parking lot.

Due to a technical issue I was charged my monthly fee only a week into my membership. Then was charged a late fee for no reason. And when I called the gym the male employee I spoke to told me there was nothing he could do, so when I asked to speak to the manager I had to ask her 3 times what her name was. Then when I finally got it she told me there was nothing they could do it was an old ad. I asked to speak to someone above her and she refused. So I am here asking for someone who is more polite than "Rena" at the gainesville location to contact me.

After years at another gym, I finally made the switch, initially I was repentant but I'm loving it! This gym is super convenient, just a 10-minute drive from home. The class booking system on the app was an HUGE adjustment for me. But I embraced and putted love and a positive attitude and now I enjoy trying all the different classes like hot yoga, pilates, HIIT, Boxing, Absolution, Barbell, and Zumba, which I love so much. The crunch app has a great option of pre-made training plans with the weights and core; I started using it and I’m training with the app. The app also helps you to keep record of all the fitness activities you do. I love they have different models of the machines, with a variety of options.
I also make sure to use the sauna and fantastic massage chairs after every workout. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The place is always clean.
My only real complaint is the parking; it can be tough to find a spot, which adds extra time to the visit. I had miss many classes due to don’t finding parking.

Brook is great!! Remembers peoples names and greets with a smile. Everytime I see her she’s ready to help. Yesi is great as well- speaks spanish which is always a plus in Gainesville! Only issue I’ve came across is when coming at different times some employees are a bit blunt and look like they don’t want to be there. I usually come in the morning so the girls are my regular faces but the times I’ve came later, the workers make me it awkward to even ask for a massage chair. Other than that, amazing gym and equipment. Hot classes are my go to!

Normally I do not leave reviews. But I left this gym recently appalled at the behavior of the staff. I was present when a situation with another guest was handled incredibly poorly. Just so management is aware this team members name was Brenna, she immediately became dismissive and abrasive. Her tone was sarcastic and at one point even laughed at the guest. There was zero-effort to actually assist the guest to make them feel welcome. In business where first impressions matter, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. If this is how Crunch treats visitors, there are plenty of other gyms nearby that treat guests with respect and actually value new business. If I could leave 0 stars I would, cancelling my membership today.
