The District Manager from Crunch reached out and confirmed that my refund has been approved and the issue is being resolved. I’ve updated my rating to 4 stars, as the process took longer than expected. I’ll provide another update if the refund is not received.
Update #3 , Jeff was able to go in and fix the issues with my account . Was refunded the amount in full . The place is great and would recommend . Billing issues do get taken care of , just have to be patient

We joined Crunch about 20 months ago as empty nesters trying to get back into shape. The gym is so clean and the employees really are so helpful. The equipment is in great shape and atmosphere is motivating. Then- my husband had a stroke. While we aren’t able to use the gym anymore at this point, I’m super thankful for Christian and others who have been kind and considerate to us. Keep up the great service and maybe we’ll be able to get back in there one day!

With work changing I was limited across the country to even set foot in one of crunch’s establishments. I get I HAVE to be in person or mail in but I’m limited there also, and to give no other option is absurd. 2 stars for atleast the quality of atmosphere inside but customer service and the departments not helpful and argue with you. My contract states I have the right to cancel for any reason outside of my control one of which is being limited to access to establishments, and if disabilities limit you, on top of a list of another few things. Have to call my bank to block future payments until I am home as I haven’t been home in months. Would not recommend to anyone unless you are free to go and have access constantly and want a clean gym.
Update. Jeff, the GM reached out to me and helped me sort everything out and it is greatly appreciated. Will consider coming back in the future if anything changes in life

Trash gym!! This place is greedy. You have to cancel membership in-person, if you have a transaction dispute know one can help you. THEY CHARGE A LATE FEE!!!! A LATE FEE FOR A GYM MEMBERSHIP!!! They wouldn't let me in the gym last month for not paying but pulled my money out the following month with extra charges! Once you give your debit card information they are like sharks they keep hitting your debit card month after month even if you haven't paid them in months.

I don't recommend becoming a member. The $26 fee was charged, but because I didn't have enough funds the first time, they charged me $41, which I paid. It's worth noting that I don't go often, maybe four times a month. I was paying normally; last month they charged me the regular $26, but now that I didn't have enough funds, they raised it to $81 yesterday, and today they're charging me $86. This is crazy, especially since I already canceled my membership through the website...

I was excited about getting back into the gym after several months off. The same equipment that was broken when I last went is still broken as well as additional equipment. Cleanliness is lacking. Noticed a lot of old towels and trash around equipment. The tanning rooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in quite sometime. Old tanning lotion on the walls and used bandaids and hair on the floor.

I been to a lot of Crunch fitnesses, in NJ and even a couple in north GA, like John Creek and Roswell too. All of them are basically the same but this one is the worst I've been to. Heres a few notes:
- Temperature is always hot in there. Other gyms crank the AC, but you are going to pass out of heat in this one
- Always out of paper towels, wipes etc.
- Only 1 water fountain in the very back and there was a month or two where the water was broken and even the bathroom was not useable!
- No clips for the end of barbells ever. I think I've seen maybe 2 sets of clips in the whole gym, but there are like 5 bench presses and like 10 squat racks lol. You literally can't squat heavy or risk the plates falling off and breaking your back
- Almost every single cable machine is either broken or sticky. I'd say like 1/5 of the machines are actually broken that have a sign that says it's down (been months since they put the signs up) and another 3/4 of the machines have a sticky spot in the cable, meaning you pull it down and somewhere along the line it'll have a tougher than usual resistance that you need to overcome to get back to normal. Like a speed bump feeling. It's awful
- Some of the treadmills are noisy and make a thumping sound just while spinning.
- Most of the employees at the front desk don't acknowledge your existence when you check in
- Lots of the workout machines have busted up handles or seats
Overall it's a terrible gym experience unless you go at like the crack of dawn before it gets too hot in there and too overcrowded to find a working machine.

I had to cancel my membership. It should have been a simple process. Instead, I was harassed multiple times about my reason for canceling, after clearly stating I did not wish to discuss my reason. I was asked three different times, and I finally said I currently didn’t have time. the team member told me if I really cared, I would make time. I understand this may be part of his job but if crunch wants to motivate customers to stay or return in the future, judging their personal reasons for leaving is not a good tactic. You never know what someone is going through.

So I started at this gym when they first opened and I enjoyed my experience. I have been to many gyms and seen many come and go in the local area. Although there are some cons about the gym life I appreciate having this one as an option. I recently had to cancel my membership due to health issues and was given incorrect information on how to cancel and what the process was. I was told I would be contacted by the MGR(Jeff). I waited and he called and I was pleasantly surprised at how well he answered all of my questions and offered to coach his team and improve the cancellation process. Guess what as soon as I can, I’m going back. I love my community and options I have here. I don’t expect perfection when I’m working out. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet. I’ve been a member at Crunch Fitness for a while and had an unresolved issue dating back to February. Unfortunately, previous management never followed through, which was really frustrating. But ever since Jeff took over as the new General Manager, everything changed. He addressed the issue right away, no hassle, no excuses. It was such a relief to finally be heard and taken care of. Jeff’s leadership already makes a huge difference, and I’m genuinely excited to continue with Crunch under the new management. The gym and the community are in great hands!

If there was another gym in the area that was close to my house and had childcare, I would definitely go there. I want to love Crunch, but it’s just so many issues. Water fountain hash crashed too many times. Most recently the AC has been out for going on three months… It’s just too hot down here IN MIDDLE GA for this to not have been resolved.
Cable machines constantly broken. One of the two leg press machines has been broken for almost 6 months…
Some of the issues over the last six months have been running out of sanitizing spray and paper towels, plumbing issues, having to use porta potty on the outside of the building…
It’s just exhausting, knowing that we have to deal with these issues on a regular. Management really needs to improve!

I’ve never seen anything more ridiculous in my life. After signing up, I moved to another city and called to cancel my membership, which I did. But then plans changed, I came back and signed up again. Now I’ve moved to another city again, and they’re telling me I can only cancel my membership by showing up in person. This is truly unbelievable — the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Honestly, it’s just pure nonsense. Crunch Fitness is easily one of the best gyms I’ve been to. No goofy color schemes or TVs everywhere—just a clean, well-run facility with everything you actually need. I really appreciate the dedicated boxing area, not just a random bag hanging somewhere. The staff is always pleasant and respectful in a real, down-to-earth way, not that forced overly nice tone. The sauna is a solid bonus for recovery, and having access to group fitness classes almost every day is a plus. What I really like most is the atmosphere—kids, teens, adults, seniors, casual gym-goers, serious athletes—it feels like an actual community. You start to recognize familiar faces, and that makes a difference.

When I first signed up for Crunch Fitness a few years ago it was fantastic! But wow this Crunch Fitness has gone downhill so BADLY in the past year!
1. The place ALWAYS runs out of paper towels, constantly. Ridiculous that I have to shake my hands dry every other week.
2. This Crunch Fitness took over the mall space of the old Sears business from years ago and is about 40,000 square feet! There is ONLY ONE single water fountain for a gym of 40,000 square feet and over 10,000 members. The lines at the water fountain can get crazy. One single water fountain is unacceptable!
3. Speaking of the water fountain...the spout that shoots out water into your mouth works. But the rear part of the water fountain that fills water bottles quickly is STILL broken months later! Long lines as we wait to each fill up huge water bottles using the slow spout. Awful.
4. One urinal in the men's bathroom is broken! One toilet in the men's bathroom is broken! One sink in the men's bathroom is broken! You kidding me??
5. AND FINALLY.....the AC is BROKEN! Always hot. They are using large fans to try and keep the place cool. AC broken....in the summer of Georgia!
The $9.99 monthly payment using bank account to keep the price low is ok but the multitude of issues that NEVER get fixed have me on the verge of cancelling my membership. Anyone reading this, beware! This place has gone to hell in the last couple years.

The equipment is great but it is the little things where they fail! Half of the cable machines do not have clips and I have mentioned this to the front desk and the manager many times. They always say the right thing but the next day there aren’t clips on each station! They also lack on maintenance of equipment. For example the Hammer Strength incline bench has had a torn sleeve on the handles for weeks and no one cares. Right by it is another hammer strength machine where the grip is loose and has pulled off partially (very visible) and no one orders new grips or even attempts to repair them. Clips for the bench press are non existent and that is a safety concern. I love the equipment but there is no preventive maintenance or repairs done. Today, I found two bolts on the floor under the benches where the dumbbells are. Wonder where they came from? Wonder if they simply get swept up and no one reinstalls the missing bolts. Honestly, this issue is attributed to owner(s) who don’t care about safety or the maintenance of the equipment. FIX the EQUIPMENT and buy and keep clips on the darn machines!

There are a bunch of cable machine stations that don’t have clips. Seriously, how much is a clip? They have a bag ful at the front desk. The machines I mentioned 3 weeks ago have NOT been fixed and now several cable machines are broken. Machine numbers 169 the arm
Will not rotate on the left side and the next closest similar machine the ring on the end of the cable is broke off. The cables in the main cable machine are rarely or NEVER lunges since Daryl quit. They need someone to maintain equipment. To make it worse I specifically went to the front desk and got the young lady on duty to go
To the machine to show her what function was broken. Today 48 hours later, there is no sign on it and it is still not functional. The owner originally replied but has not addressed the issues nor reached out to me. HELLO OWNER you gym is a nice place with no preventive, periodic and almost no maintenance period. Also, the HVAC ( one of the units) has been broken for
Months and it is hot as HADES in the afternoon. Do your job as owner and get involved and get it back to standard. My next step is to write corporate.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Crunch Fitness. My wife is active duty military, and we've relocated multiple times due to her PCS orders. We’ve tried to do everything by the book—about two weeks ago, I mailed in a handwritten letter to cancel our memberships since we are now stationed in Arizona and can no longer access the Crunch location where we originally signed up. Despite this, we were charged again, and when I contacted them, they claimed they never received the letter.
What makes this worse is I know for a fact that the general manager has the authority to cancel memberships over the phone at their discretion, but the front desk refuses to escalate the issue. They hide behind policy even when they could clearly resolve the situation with a 5-minute phone call. We’ve now had to send a second cancellation letter via overnight mail with tracking just to protect ourselves.
Crunch also has a 1-star rating on the Better Business Bureau for similar complaints, and this is now starting to feel like a pattern of ignoring legitimate cancellation requests and continuing to bill people. If this isn’t resolved immediately, we’ll be disputing the charges through our bank and reporting them to the FTC and Georgia Attorney General’s office.
Avoid this company if you value transparency, fair treatment, or ever anticipate needing to cancel.

Update: 5/28/25 My wife LaDonna Stockwell had just recently rejoined this gym and it is appearent that the owners are still completely clueless!!! The club is filthy. For the last 2 days there haven't even been towels in the dispensers to wipe the equipment down after using it. The locker rooms are covered in hair and filth. The mats in the stretch zone have probably never been picked up to clean underneath them. She also uses the tanning beds and the floors in the rooms are covered in hair. She usually used the gym around 9:30 so it is not just a long day, as if that could be an excuse for not keeping a gym cleaned and sanitized.
The club is brand new and already looking like it is 10 years old. The locker room especially is always dirty and not stocked with paper. There are not enough sanitizing stations on the workout floor, and the spray bottles are empty a majority of the time. It is close to my house and cheap, so I will use it until the filth becomes too much, but I can't recommend this club.

I canceled my membership over a year ago. I see where crunch has been charging my credit card 46 a month for the past 3 months. I was told I had to go inside to cancel and that's exactly what I did. I came in to sign up for a gym membership and was asked if I wanted to do a body scan for ten dollars. I asked if I had to do it and he said no but kept pushing me to do it anyways after I repeatedly said I was not interested. We went to the front so he could activate my keycard and as he was doing that He had the card reader ready for me to sign for the ten dollar charge and I once again said no. After that he appeared to cancel the transaction gave me my stuff and I walked away to work out. Maybe an hour later I get an email saying my card was charged from my bank and another from the gym saying I’m scheduled for something I explicitly turned down.

I’ve been a loyal member for nearly two years, but unfortunately, I’ve experienced an ongoing account issue for over four months. During this time, I was extremely disappointed by the way Mr. Shannon handled the matter. On two separate occasions, he provided inaccurate information and dismissed my concerns, making me feel like a nuisance rather than a valued member. As a business owner myself, I fully understand the demands of a busy day and the complexities of business operations, but honesty and integrity should never be compromised.
That said, I want to sincerely acknowledge and commend Mrs. Nikki. She went above and beyond to resolve the issue—stepping in where others fell short. She followed through on everything she promised and demonstrated the kind of professionalism and care that reflects true customer service excellence. Her efforts reminded me of the importance of valuing every customer, and I’m truly grateful for her help.

Signed up for a free 7 day trial. I showed up solo and never got a tour. There were plenty of staff who could cover the front to at least point me to the locker rooms. The wifi never worked for me. The amenities were average but they had plenty to offer. I wish the pass included the class.

I’ve been a loyal member for over a year, enduring various challenges such as the lack of bathrooms and water, and more recently, poor customer service. Unfortunately, after repeated negative experiences, I’ve decided to cancel my membership.
My interactions with the manager, in particular, have been disappointing. While I understand that everyone has tough days, I’ve found the service to be consistently standoffish, which isn’t the experience I expected from a gym. I’ve seen you working hard, but customer service is key, and this is an area I believe could use significant improvement.
Given these issues, I’ll be taking my membership elsewhere and can no longer recommend Crunch Fitness to others.

This place LIES at sign up. I signed up my son on 1/8/25 with Ryan. We signed up for 25cent and had to pay the $27/first month. Also, of coarse a yearly membership fee. Ryan literally told us to call around 2/10 and we could go down to the $10/mo program. I did call & policy changed. There was all of a sudden a fee to change programs AND you have to give 2months request to change to a lower program. Nicki, front desk manager, could not help. I would not trust this place. They’ll tell you anything to get you signed up.

The ONLY reason to go to this gym is because it’s 24 hours 5 days (use to be 7) a week. There’s no bathroom or water fountain there, clips for the bars always go missing, cable machines are messed up. The gym is always flooded with teens that pretty much show up just to get in the way and socialize, not actually work out. Additionally, you have the typical smattering of egotistical wannabe influencers that will place their tripods in the most inconvenient spots, sometimes even blocking equipment. Again if you’re okay with a “mid” gym for only $10 you can’t beat it but other than that this gym is trash 🚮

My biggest gripes are that the cable machines pretty much all have sticking points that you can notice when working out. Also there are like zero clamps for the barbels anywhere. Its been a month and the clamps are all gone.. why wouldn't they keep track of inventory and order more?
Also the gym has had no working bathroom for a while now as well as no water fountain that works. You'd think that water is really important to gym members so they'd be handing out water bottles or even have a cooler that they fill up and provide cups for guests until they get it fixed... not the case

I wish I could give Crunch Fitness zero stars for how ridiculous their cancellation process is. Signing up? Super easy. Cancelling? They make you jump through so many hoops, you’d think you were training for the Olympics.
I moved to another city and physically can’t come in to cancel, but apparently, that’s not enough of a reason for them to just process a simple request. They refuse to let you handle it online or over the phone, and mailing a letter? In 2025? Really? It feels like they make it as inconvenient as possible so they can keep charging you. Feels less like a gym and more like a subscription scam at this point.
If you’re thinking about signing up—just know they’ll happily take your money, but good luck ever getting out of it.

Newer facility from what I'm told. My home Crunch is Marietta. Nice equipment. The first 2 elliptical I attempted to warm up with had some issues, but the staff was very prompt in reporting them when I told them.

I was not happy with my experience. The gym was always running out of paper towels on the gym floor and locker rooms. The gym floor was always a mess and not well maintained. The front desk employees were never helpful when I needed something and finding a manager was almost impossible. I canceled my membership because I did not enjoy working out here, and they listed my reason of cancellation as “moving.” Do not recommend.

I joined Crunch 1 Nov 24, its a good deal at 9.99 a month for 24hr access. The equipment is okay, all though i would like to see more adominal machines like twist machine and leg machines. One curl leg machine, 2 thigh machines i work out 530 to 630 am, at that time i would estimate 50 to 60 people working out , the problem its hard to get to leg machines due to amount of usage. always busy. I guess good for business, but i would perfer smallee gym less people, in it for 1 yr, after that i am not sure if i will continue or look gym thats not as busy.

I have had excellent results with the trainers at Crunch in Warner Robins. I’ve been working with Kaitlynn since June & am very happy with my results. She takes your goals & pushes you to reach them. She helps you to realize you are capable of more than you originally thought you were. All of the class instructors are encouraging when you try new classes & so positive about your efforts. Jayda is amazing. She makes everyone feel welcome & encourages everyone who tries new classes to just have fun. She has a contagious energy that makes you WANT to be around her for workouts. Every trainer I’ve met has been wonderful . It’s been a very positive environment to workout in. People of all walks of life just mingle here to do their own thing. I enjoy this gym and am here at least five days a week. There is something for everyone to enjoy doing.

I've been a member at Crunch for 9 months now. For reference, I workout & train 7 days a week, for a minimum of 3hrs a day, & do both cardio & lifting.
I can't say enough good about this gym. The size, the vast variety of equipment, additional amenities (dry heat sauna!), the opportunities to be challenged & grow. I've made many good friends & my time at the gym is my favorite part of each day.
But the staff is ultimately what makes the difference. They are friendly & conscientious. I've gotten to know so many in my time here...Trish, who works tirelessly keeping machines in top order & cleaning the gym floor as she goes. She works so hard, I never see her standing still. Nikki the front desk manager, friendly & engaging & always on the move keeping things running smoothly. Marc, the Personal Training manager, always encouraging & interacting with members. Victoria, cheerfully & sweetly cleaning up after all of us so thoroughly, always with a happy spirit & big smile. All of the trainers are friendly, but Isaiah & Christina immediately come to mind, always reaching out, always remembering my name. And Tyson & Felicia. Tyson & Felicia are often the first faces I see when I come in early in the morning & always make me smile, starting my day's session off in the best way. Felicia often opens on the weekend & is always on time, hustling hard to have the gym open promptly.
I love my gym & gym tribe. It is truly a wonderful, welcoming community.

I've been going to this gym since May 2024. I was initially highly impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, but it's starting to waiver. The bathrooms used to be clean. Not sure if they changed contractors, but now they are sub par. Visible dirt on the floors, sinks, and in the toilets. It's not good. The floors in the room for yoga also have more "dirt" than I care to think of. What is nice is that they always have cleaning supplies to wipe down the equipment with.
Good music if you like hip-hop, although sometimes it's extremely loud. I'm a big fan of music, but when you can hear it loud and clear in the sauna, it's a bit disturbing.
I also like how the gym has a lot of different areas to work out in. And various classes. However, as big as the gym is, it gets extremely busy after work hours and until around 8pm. I guess that's to be expected. Saturdays and Sundays around 1:30pm are relatively calm.
They could use a few more leg curl and leg extension machines. These are always in high demand.
Great location, but due to the traffic... may be in need of another location soon. I'm rating it a 4, but will come back on and change my rating if things improve.

Customer service is poor. I had a horrible experience. They don't listen to the clients. The classes are hard to book. I was a member for 2months and was not able to get into any class because they were full. Their rules are to register 22hr in advance or 30 min before and I still couldn't get into a class..I paid 96.00 but never attended a work out class because they had the wrong email address which was their fault and it wouldn't allow me to register. The gym is over rated and it's too loud. The gym is not really clean. The Hydromassage bed area doesn't provide privacy people can sit and look at you. Horrible experience. I didn't go to the gym to be stress but to relieve stress. You have to pay for a trainer and they are expensive. Planets fitness trainer come with the members. Planet fitness gyms is clean and they offer excellent customer service. Crunch -The sauna smell like rooted eggs. It's not clean. It's a no for me. Give me a refund. People pay close attention. We never meet with a fitness trainer to learn the equipment. The spray bottle is always out of solution to clean the equipment and paper towels are out. The cleanliness of the gym is poor.

My favorite trainers Jayda, Christina and Lot are incredibly supportive, motivating and they make workouts always challenging yet fun. I started Crunch in May. I absolutely love the HITT workouts. All the trainers I have worked out with have been so amazing and encouraged me to push myself harder. My favorite class is Zumba with Maria G. She is an awesome instructor. The last year has been really rough for me and my family. For that one hour in her class I get to work hard and even laugh some. She is fun and energetic and her music is 🔥🔥🔥. I like some of the other classes as well. I am venturing out with Pilates classes with Jada, weight classes and Zumba with Rosalee. I have started and stopped going to several gyms over the years and I can say without a doubt Crunch is the absolute best I have ever stepped foot in. From the second I walk in the gym to the second I make it to my car, I am greeted, welcomed and encouraged every second from staff and members. The gym always so clean! The personal trainers are amazing, they work diligently to help you succeed in your gym goals! They have child care for your littles! But my absolute favorite are the group classes. Jayda and Kaleb in those HIIT classes keep me going when I’m not working out solo or with a PT. And Chad with the yoga? Whew! There are so many classes to enjoy, and ample time periods to enjoy them, from 5:30 am to 7 pm most days. I have no plans to leave this gym, and I hope to see you in here one day too!

This morning I went to Crunch Fitness to do my routinely morning workout on a treadmill. However, during my workout I was RUDELY INTERRUPTED WITH NO APOLOGY by some sort of female “personal trainer” who apparently worked for Crunch. She DEMANDED IMMEDIATELY that I move to another location. She said quote “YOU NEED TO MOVE NOW!” because she was going to start her “personal training class” on the treadmill. Mind you she had no sort of flyer nor information posted that she was holding this secession prior to me starting my workout. Although, she did post “something” 30 minutes INTO my workout AWHILE I WAS DOING MY routine and did not say anything to me until near END OF MY WORKOUT to which she then DEMANDED I MOVE before FINISHING MY EXERCISE. Needless to say this was UNPROFESSIONAL, OBNOXIOUS, an example of POOR MANAGEMENT of her OWN SCHEDULE, AND DISRESPECTFUL. In addition, while she was DEMANDING that I move to another area while I’m exercising, she had this extremely disrespectful look on her face and a DEMANDING TONE OF VOICE. EVEN GAVE ME ATTITUDE WHILE PRESSURING ME TO MOVE. Perhaps it was because I had appeared to be a MINORITY that she felt it was necessary to TALK DOWN TO ME, AS IF I WAS BENEATH HER. This is making me question what sort of people Crunch Fitness hires to take care of their so called “beloved customers”. Especially if a mere “personal trainer” can go up to any customer and WITHOUT ANY APOLOGY OR PRIOR NOTICE, FORCE THEM TO MOVE DESPITE NOT EVEN BEING A MANAGER OR OWNER OF THE GYM. What sort of right do you have as a “personal trainer” to order people around in the gym THAT YOU DON’T OWN and act like YOU’RE THE OWNER. I don’t think that even an owner has LEGAL AUTHORITY to order someone around without prior notice or apologizing for unexpected circumstances. This act has thus caused me to see Crunch Fitness as a inconsiderate and ill-mannered gym, as they clearly can’t hire employees who can’t even give an apology but would give attitude to their customers in such a disrespectful and unprofessional manner.
Note to management: Train your employees to give respect to customers! Everything in life is a 2 way street; being polite to customers will result in a positive/pleasant feedback. Or otherwise hire more professional employees.

I love this gym it’s so clean and spacious ,the staff and Management is amazing and so helpful the AGM is so nice made my experience here outstanding
