I honestly did not like how the Male instructor talked to us after our lesson. I felt like I was being scrutinized for the way I wanted to learn and what I was asking. He did say we could do it my way but that it wouldn’t help me in a real life situation, but let’s be honest who ballroom dances at 30 years old. I just wanted to have date night and get away from the kids and laugh and have fun. I didn’t feel like I could do that with him when it was said and done.

We love learning ballroom dancing. We use it at weddings, parties, clubs, and event balls. Tons of fun and great exercise.

We used to dance like we were dancing on "hot coals". Now, we LOVE to dance with a purpose!! Our teachers take TIME to guide us in all the details of leading and following each other on the dance floor. GREAT exercise and we get to do it together! Highly Recommend.

I learned to dance here a few years ago while in my early 50's. I recommend people don't wait so long to try ballroom dancing! I find it challenges me mentally, enriches me socially, and acts as a chemical-free overall stress reducer. A man typically learns to dance from from woman, and I found Ms. Smith to be an awesome, patient, and motivating instructor. I received the right mix of group lessons, and private one-one-one sessions to keep me progressing. As soon as I got enough confidence to dance reasonably well (about 3 months for me), I headed to Atlanta for weekend dance opportunities. What a blast!
