This is our second year at DGC and I could not be more pleased! Shoutout to the Pre-K Staff: Ms. Ivey, Ms. Nyla, Ms. Dee, and Ms. Brandi! This facility is amazing— from the staff and teachers to the other kids who attend! I’ve had two nieces come here over the years at different times, and that positive experience is exactly what brought us back. I was hoping everything would still be just as great, and it is!

My granddaughter loved it from the moment she walked in. Her teachers jumped right in and had her learning new skills on the very first day. Even though she didn’t start at the beginning of the school year, she never once felt behind. She looks forward to going every week and is smiling the entire time, even through a tough workout!

Douglasville, gymnastics in cheerleading has been extremely amazing. They really take the time out to learn their students work with them one on one when they can and really provide excellent training to every single child/athlete that comes through their door.

Our daughter has been a part of their program since the parent tot class, she is now five years old and still gets excited every single time for gymnastics. The programs are top notch, the facility is clean, the equipment is up to standard as well as the management and staff are friendly on top of all of the instructors coach with a smile on their face.

Our daughter will continue to attend Douglasville Gymnastics and Cheerleading for as long as she shows interest. 10/10 Recommend.

Our daughter has pretty much participated in every sport and cheer and gymnastics is where we landed 2 years ago. It’s not only because flips are a fun thing to do, but because of the sisterhood the coaches enforce. You hear a lot people say they are a family, but here they say it and you feel it. It’s evident that the girls are their top priority and this is why we decided to keep our baby girl there.
After a few months of participating in gymnastics, my baby decided she also wanted to do cheer. On the 1st day of cheer practice, my daughter went home and unfortunately had a knee injury where she had to get surgery. We were devastated because she was young and we didn’t know if mentally she would be afraid as she healed through physical therapy. Due to the positive impact that the coaches had on her, our baby pushed through and was determined to get back to “her other home.” Regardless of the distance from our home to the facility, it’s absolutely worth it and we are happy to be at a place where they encourage the children to be their best. Coach Kelsie remembered her for almost a year and encouraged her a strong and safe comeback! No one is left behind and that’s all a parent could ask for. My daughter has been attending the gym since age 4 and she’s now 8, Douglasville gymnastics and cheer is amazing. The team and staff are always smiling and so welcoming. They are very skilled in each group. These are real experts and have been around for over 30 years. My daughter is in Division 3 and Tumbling 1 class, the teachers really help clean up the moves and tighten up things. And they also offer camp during school year when schools are closed and Parents night out on every other Friday. Sign your kiddos up. You won’t regret it and they are very affordable!

We recently moved to Douglasville and I was looking for a gymnastics studio for my five year-old. I first would like to talk about the staff. They were warm and welcoming. Of course there’s quite a lot to navigate when you’re learning the procedures of a new gym. They made my shy five-year-old daughter feel comfortable, and they were very helpful to me. I do believe the quality of instruction is high, and you can see that with the older gymnasts and cheerleaders they are very advanced. I highly recommend this gym!

Over the summer we were trying to find a camp for our toddler since he was out of school and wanted to find something fun for him to do. A lot of the camps have age requirements and his Mother’s Day Out program found this one and recommended it. This was his first camp he has ever gone to and my son is young and can’t say many words yet, so I was so excited to take him to his first day and could not wait to speak to the teacher after his class to see how it went. The camp ended at 1:00 pm and come to find out that he was already sitting in the office waiting on me to be picked up. I made eye contact with both women that were teaching his class and they immediately looked away from me and did not say one word to me until I asked how it went and they told me it was “fine.” I thought it was the rudest thing that they could not take one second from their day to say hi to me or he had a great first day or any type of update on his very first day at a camp! I was then pulled to the side to be told they saw he had a pull up over his underwear and he is supposed to be completely potty trained. He was newly potty trained at that point(not even 3 years old yet!!) and told them I did not want him to have an accident and had that on just in case. Mind you, it was only a 3 hour class and if this center was run by men, I would 100% understand if they told me to come from work to change him if he had an accident, but a whole center run by women & some mothers at that, telling me to I would need to come from work to change a pull up was one of the craziest things I have ever heard. It then got better when he did have an accident, we were then told by someone else that he could not come back to the camp if it happened again. If you have a child that is wanting to be a gymnast or cheerleader even at 2 years old, then this may be the place for you if you can deal with all the cold women who work there and will not even say hi to you, but if you are looking for a fun camp for your toddler to enroll in to have some socialization in the summer- pick another camp and put your money elsewhere, trust me! I would give 0 stars for my experience with this camp.

DO NOT consider going here if you have a child with special needs. We brought our daughter, who is a 4 year old with Autism, for a tour. We told them that she was autistic up front and that we just wanted to make sure that was ok to sign her up still. They said of course and that the instructors were very patient. We were told to sign her up for the toddler group class because they have more instructors and that it would be the best for her. The whole point of this class was to help her gain some independence and realize she didn’t need my wife to do everything. We came today for her first class, which we watched the entire time. It was her first time in any setting like this so of course we were a little nervous to see how it would go. When the class began she didn’t want to sit still and had some trouble following the lead, which we assumed would be the case at the beginning but about halfway through the class she really seemed to be doing well. You could see the big smile on her face and it made us very happy. Some of the other parents watching asked if she was ours and we said yes. They all said that she was doing great for her first class and told us stories of how rough it was with their children for the first few classes. We left to head down when the class was almost over to pick her up from the instructors when the class was finished. We felt great about what we had seen and really felt some hope that this class was going to be great for her. When the instructor walked her down the steps she immediately pulled us to the side and told us that they felt that this class was not going to be for her and that she should switch to the class that is called parent tot, which is where a parent can help “control” them. How can you know after one 45 minute class that it’s not for her? Also, why if these other children had a similar or worse experience their first time, are they still in this class and not told that it’s not for them. I feel their minds were made up about her the second she walked in the room. I completely feel as if my daughter was discriminated against because they knew she was autistic. I feel as if they did not want to have to “deal” with her. My wife has been in tears ever since we left the class. All we want is to try give her as normal of a life as we can and feel like we never got a fair shot with this facility. We will be getting a refund and never coming back. This may be a fine place for “normal” children but if you’re a parent with a child with special needs this is not the place for you. We will try another facility and hope to find a place more caring and understanding.

Some years ago my daughter started cheerleading at this place. Few months later my grandfather passed away. We had to go out of state for his home going service and this place kicked my daughter off the cheerleading squad because she couldn’t attend practice. I explained to them my grandfather passed away and the person on the phone told me even when hers passed away she had to still be at douglasville gymnastic. Then they sent out a mass email with me included as a recipient, and said to remove my daughter from the roster. This was actually the second time I’d given this place a try. The first time, she was younger and in the gymnastic class for toddlers. She ended up contracting an awful staph infection in which she was hospitalized for, for days. I informed Douglasville Gymnastics and they ignored my efforts to reach out. Disgusting and so distasteful. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

We absolutely LOVE this gym! My daughter has grown exponentially and every teacher is GREAT with the kids! Watching the older girls and how great their skills are is proof of how knowledgeable the staff is, as well. Even though only one adult per student is allowed to watch right now, it hasn't been a problem. My husband and I just take turns watching. Its so great that they are even allowing parents to watch! I know of a couple dance studios right now who aren't even letting a parent in at all to watch with their covid precautions in place. I 100% recommend this gym!!

My wife and I came to watch my daughter at her cheerleading practice, but were told they were only allowing 1 parent per child to watch.
This wouldn’t have been an issue, except for the fact that none of the other kids had parents watching.. so it wasn’t about a capacity issue.
Our daughter was extremely disappointed, and due to this experience, we definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

The teachers are great. Very encouraging to the girls. According to some of my acquaintances their rates are higher than other gyms, but their schedule meets our needs. Lots of options for classes for all ages. Even the toddler classes are good.

I wasn’t a bit impressed.... my daughter was in one class there, but it’s chaotic.... I couldn’t even watch my daughter practice bc of all the people there. Maybe if they scheduled classes differently then there would be room for everyone. I did the one session but never again... I’m in search for a center that’s a bit more organized and not just out to get as much money as they can by filling the facility over and above capacity... you can’t even comfortably move around in there. I mean really. Who wants to deal with all that?!?

Very busy doing 7 pm class. Luckily my daughter class has 2 teachers and she receives plenty of time to practice. I love how drop off and pick up is coordinated. I wish there was more places for viewing. Front desk staff is always pleasant and welcoming. Facility is always clean and tidy.

We loved it here until my daughter attended a camp that was held when school was out. She apparently cried the whole time and had to be picked up early. After that she cried every time we were supposed to go to our regular class. I asked her what happened but it took about a month for her to inform me that some older kids took her lunch and threw it away leaving her nothing to eat and then they put her up on the high bar (she's 4) and left her there. While I know kids are kids there should have been an adult present. They also shouldn't have had teenagers playing with 4 year olds.

My son and daughter have been attending douglasville gymnastics for almost 3 years, and they love it. They both are so strong and skill set increases each class. The staff is friendly and we love their coaches. Shout out to coach Pam, Chris, Brandy, Anna,Ally, and last but not least Coach Kellan!
