I highly recommended Dovid as your personal trainer. He is a fantastic person to have in my life 3 days a week, for my body and my mind.
He is present and paying attention to each of my movements throughout the whole session, always taking note of how I respond, how I move and how I feel.
For my training, we always focused on functional strength and healing the damage that scoliosis has done to my body. In just a couple of months of training, my daily pain from my crooked back went from a level 4-5 to a level 2 and less frequency of pain.
If you are looking to heal your body or prepare your body for functional strength, Dovid is the man.

I wanted to get stronger but did not know where to start and was intimidated by gyms (and people in the gyms). I read some of the reviews prior to writing mine and concur on Dovid’s professionalism, knowledge, care and thoughtfulness. I will also add that Dovid is super approachable (no dumb questions), kind, funny and wise. I had waffled and dabbled with strength training for so long and am happy I found DW Fit. I’m having fun, challenging myself and getting stronger. No boring or meh sessions with Dovid!

Fantastic trainer. An expert level of knowledge. Very good at safely ramping up strength training to avoid injury. Saw great gains without risking injury. Puts a lot of thought into programming and what makes sense for his clients. Super responsive in terms of communication around scheduling, etc. Recently was moving a super heavy object from an awkward position, and I could feel my core muscles engage to stabilize my back. No question that prior to training I would have injured myself! Strongly recommend.

I couldn’t have found a better fit for my needs & goals. After getting injured a few years ago, I was scared to get back in the gym, but knew I needed it. I had become far too out of shape and my mobility was declining. For me, the perfect balance in a trainer is pushing me more than I would push myself, while also prioritizing my safety. Dovid is an excellent personal trainer, one who’s focused first and foremost on safety. He works around any past injuries and helps you make necessary modifications, but he also challenges you. I’ve done exercises in the gym that I never thought I could do, and I’m only six months in. I never realized the impact a personal trainer could have until I saw my friend's transformation with Dovid. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try for myself. His focus on strength and mobility, particularly for aging individuals, sets him apart. He learned that mobility issues contribute more to senior living home admissions than cognitive issues, so he tailored his practice accordingly. Although I have a long way to go, I can already feel the difference, even in simple tasks like sitting and standing. Dovid is incredibly encouraging and committed to his clients, regardless of their starting point. A few months ago I blindly reached out to Coach D expressing that I need a serious change in my life. Sheepishly, I opened up to him about how my body has felt like an enemy for so much of my life. Years of struggling with both how I feel and see my body. I needed help! Oh, and one more thing, I hate working out, and being in a gym makes me super uncomfortable. Today I write this and I can officially say my life has been altered. Now mind you, I’m only a few months in, and I still have a long journey. However, from day one, Coach D has created a comfortable & safe environment for me to learn. His patience combined with experience in a world I’m unfamiliar with has launched me into excitement and confidence about being more active. I started training with Dovid a few months ago and purposely choose 1:1 personal training to be able to focus on regaining strength while navigating long-term knee issues. I have worked with MANY trainers over the past couple of years. I believe Dovid is one of the most experienced and committed trainers around. I absolutely love that is he is documenting all workouts in detail - this has allowed me to see the significant improvements I have made in my goal to progressively lift heavier weights. He is very attentive and ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. Dovid is very knowledgeable in making modifications along the way (if needed) and has built up my confidence to safely perform workouts despite neck and knee pain. He is extremely reliable and punctual. He is always ready with a plan, never cancelled a session on me (I have experienced this quite a bit with other trainers) and very goal oriented. His professionalism and passion for what he does is second to none. I feel extremely lucky to have someone with his amount of experience and energy helping me achieve my goals and he makes every session challenging (& somehow fun!). I’ve been training at DW Fit for a couple of months now and absolutely love it! I have never worked out in a gym for any length of time prior to this, but I am already seeing and feeling results. Dovid customizes each workout for maximum results and I feel the investment in my health and physique is money well spent. He has a wealth of knowledge about the body and training techniques which can help people of all ages, with little or lots of experience in working out. The workouts are never boring, which is an added bonus. Though challenging, I didn’t actually expect to enjoy them as much as I do! My core has gained strength, which helps protect my back when I’m doing yard work - I spent a lot of time working in the yard last wkd which would have caused me severe back pain previously, but not this time! I know I will continue training at DW Fit for years to come.

I started training here about 4 months ago after my partner had been training there for a few months.
I’m not really a physical fitness guy, at best I’ll jog or hike regularly. Things like lifting weights always just seemed to intimidating to me.
After a few months I’m mostly annoyed with myself I didn’t do it sooner. I feel infinitely better and can do more than I could in years.
Dovid is a great trainer. He stresses form and safety, which is always reassuring. He’s incredibly motivating as well, and has gotten me to a point with lifting weights I never thought possible. Finally, I think the most important thing is I’m learning how to do all this stuff well and the mechanics behind it. The guy really knows his stuff.

I've moved cities and states and in each place I have been very fortunate to find great trainers that lead my small training groups, but nonetheless they set the bar of my expectations very high. After moving to Roswell this past year and doing research on gyms and trainers, I met with Dovid and I could tell that we were going to be a great fit right from the get go. I came to him with injuries and have recently torn my ACL, but we still meet weekly and work towards me getting stronger in a very safe and customized way that is just for me, my recovery, and future goals. Those goals are: improving my body's mechanics, gaining strength to have some defined muscle, but most importantly, to have strength where my body needs it most to prevent future injures.
