Ive been a member at FitCo in Warner Robins since they took over from the former owners. They did a really nice job of updating the equipment and making improvements. The staff is attentive and their childcare service is really good.
Im not sure if all their branches are like this, but the one complaint I have is that it is always too hot. I don't think it is just us women....I've asked several guys and they agree.

Worst gym ever I unfortunately started having seizures and wasn't able to work out or drive by statelaw anymore so I asked to b able to cancel my membership I was told by there employee that I needed a medical letter from my neurologist about my seizures i got one sent it to them she didn't do her job have proof of letter so I fig it was canceled then I receive a letter from collections saying I owe like 1240 dollars so I contacted the owners and they tell me there's nothing they can do so now im having to deal with collections or my credit will be in trouble so if u value ur money stay clear of these people and I've heard several people complaining about this owners name Enrique at fitco now they trying say I wasn't member i have proof of everything ill c yall in small claims court I have medical letters and employees email confirmation she received it I've already sent all proof to my lawyer

I've been going to FitCo for about a year now. Some of the staff have become like family, I've met many friendly faces with all of the regulars that come. My son loves the childcare. The classes, smoothie bar, and recovery lounge are great perks for being a member. The only thing I wish was different, was the additional $10 charge to have someone visit as I know most gyms include this in a unlimited membership. Overall, I've had a great experience!

I’ve been going to this small gym for a few months now, and I’m happy with what it offers. It has is a tight-knit, welcoming atmosphere, clean equipment, and kind staff. The gym is never too crowded, which means no long waits for machines, and there’s a solid mix of free weights, resistance machines, and cardio equipment. One thing I enjoy the most is the 24 hour access so I can come super early before work. One of the unexpected perks? The smoothie bar. I went here just a few times before getting injured and having to quit my job. I paid for almost a year on a month to month in good faith anyway, then I finally cancelled. They continued to charge me from different account names and I had to contact my bank on multiple occasions. I talked to corporate and explained the situation and I already cancelled. Their corporate office blew up my phone, texts, and emails for months, it was ridiculous. I ended up filing multiple claims with my bank and the BBB. Very shady, I've never had this experience with a gym and I've worked in the industry for years. I willingly paid them almost $400 over the course of months on a m2m contract, and when I finally cancel, they freak out. I heard horror stories from people and colleagues in the industry, but signed up initially because I liked the staff there. Big mistake on my part unfortunately. Don't fall for it - I urge you to check out other gyms instead. Oh - I also requested to change the type of membership with corporate months prior and they ignored my written request. Just awful.

Bad business. Got charged for a membership and I don’t even live near the gym. They have contracts on people without communicating. Kinetics and fitco are not the same company. Maybe if you all communicated with people they would want to come to your gym. Also when this location use to be a Kinetics and fitco took over they made it very inconvenient for people who didn’t want to switch to fitco and they don’t care. This review is strictly in regards to contacting the front desk. I haven’t had any issues until recently. I tired to call and leave a voicemail before business hours but there was no option. This wasn’t an issue because I called back and left a voicemail at the start of business hours. When I hadn’t received a call back towards the end of their business hours I reached out again within the last hour of closing. This time someone answered the phone and they were abrupt. Not the kind of service I was expecting from this facility. Renee is always nice when I speak with her however, she is not the representative I spoke with this past time.

I really love fitco. I used to workout at planet fitness and I wanted to change to something smaller and a that's a real gym. I came to fitco to just check it out and really liked it. The staff is so sweet and nice, the classes are awesome, and the saunas are cool too. But the fact that I can go workout in the free weight room and not have to worry about getting judged cause the other people that are working out really try to encourage u to do better. The gym itself is fine but the business practice is very shady. They dont allow you to cancel membership in house and you have to call a separate customer service system to cancel the membership. The requirements for canceling the membership are also very inconvenient. You have to have (1) a doctors note saying you cant work out anymore or (2) proof of moving to a new address. On top of that they charge you 50 bucks. I have moved 230 miles away and provided a proof of new address but am still getting charged. I have been dealing with this for months now. Ridiculous.

Not enough equipment and the equipment they do have doesn't seem like it's taken care of. There's always someone hovering over you wanting to use what you're using, especially the free weights (they only have 1 set of free weights)
So many people here don't re rack their weights, throw the accessories on the ground somewhere, move stuff around, and don't put it back. You can get a good workout here, but it can just be a real hassle sometimes. Only 1 shower in the "locker room".

This gym is literally so small. It feels like everyone is on top of each other. The equipment is also very old and it’s not enough room. There’s one stair master in the entire gym. I also don’t really like the atmosphere from the gym. It doesn’t feel like a place where I feel welcome. I used to be a part of HubClub, but it was bought out a while back. I’ll be cancelling my membership soon and going elsewhere.

Do NOT do a membership with FitCo. I signed up with Hub Club in 2018, did automatic payments for 12 months and COMPLETED the contract even after only going one time. A member called me after my contract ended and talked me into renewing my membership. He assured me it would only be month to month at $14.99. YEARS later, a manager calls me and because my card expired. He states I owe $90.00 on my “contract”. I explained to him I was never in a contract after the one year expired. He said he would call me to further discuss and that was the last I heard. I assumed resolution. Today I receive a call from a debt collector who threaten attorney’s asked if I had one and said I will pay… I call FitCo. Spoke to a very nice manager who gave me a number to payment center. Payment center says they can’t help call FirCo. I call back a manager says she will call her manager to get resolution and call back. She calls and advises that manager states to call original debt collected to discuss. I call debt collector and she goes off on me saying FitCo called her and told her that I am responsible for the debt! Not the manager at FitCo won’t provide me with manager that called debt collector or the owner for safety reasons. SO WHO IS GOING TO ACKNOWLEDGE THERE WAS NO CONTRACT After 2019!!!! I’m looking at the contract it’s one year and was paid. I don’t know anything about FitCo, I had a contract and completed it with Hub Club. I’d appreciate an owner or the manager that called the debt company today.

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! First off, I was one of the unfortunate people that had to transfer to Kinetix Health Club Centerville from Hub Club Fitness. When I tried to cancel my membership, I was told I could not, because the gym stayed within ten miles from each other. Okay, so then I wanted to cancel my contract for the end date, because I knew I did not want to stay with this gym. I was told the contract would end in June 2020 and that I did not need to do anything else. I checked on this cancellation two more times and was told I was cleared. June comes and I'm charged, July comes, i'm charged. Today I spoke with Jonathan and he told me that I never put in the 30 day notice, but he could start that now. Some words of disagreement were exchanged and I chose to dispute the charge, because he was being highly unreasonable. It's funny how people from Capitol One are easier to talk to then your local gym owner. Stay away from this hassle.

Cheap 24/7 access and you get what you pay for. Reasonably good equipment. Staffed hours consist of someone that sits behind the desk and can’t be bothered to greet you, smile, or rarely look up from their personal conversation to acknowledge your presence. The weight rack where all the dumbbells are likely hasn’t ever been wiped down and the gym isn’t cleaned regularly. Occasionally they clean the bathrooms. Also I see from other reviews I’m not the only one they lied to when they said you could cancel anytime, as when you call to cancel that’s when you find out you agreed to a 1 year contract. Personal trainers sit in the corner and also don’t acknowledge anyone, smile, greet, or do much but avoid eye contact.

I have 15 years of Commercial Fitness Management experience. I absolutely love this facility. It's a very inviting atmosphere. I love the functional training area. I see this franchise growing. I will be a member for a very long time.

They are total fraud. When we sign up they told us that we can cancel anytime during our period. We asked the representative 3 times and they told us that this will be no problem. Now when we want to cancel they say that there is now way and we have active contract till next year August. Don't believe what they are saying to you unless they give you a paper. They have good reviews on Google but anywhere else they have 1-STAR. Also, they have ("F") with BBB so that is something to consider before signing with them.

What can I say better than excellent place to work out!
Im from Macon and i have a membership there but today I came here due to remodel at local one...
But compared to the one we have there this place is worth the drive and enjoy better equipment and bigger place and many many more options to work out!
I leave 5 stars to this one!

They will tell you what ever it takes to sign the contract. All I can say is read it carefully they lie and are very rude. They stand smugly behind the contract pointing out that you signed it. Well yes I signed it no I didn't read it and maybe that part is on me. Being in sales and customer service myself I guess I neglected that some people lie to make there money then laugh at you for being honest enough to take them at there word. Never in my life have I been treated like the smug little blond behind that desk treated me. Worst customer service in the world.

I just got my membership a little over a month ago, and this the 2nd time that I have gotten up at 430am to go to the gym and my card doesn't work. 2 other men came as well and their card didn't work either. No really impressed, there was not contact to reach someone for that type if situation.

I don’t mind this gym specifically but if you sign up for a year then there is only 2 ways to get out of it and the rush fitness industry itself is very unorganized and I had problems with them for 3 months I’ve been going

Nice intimate facility. Great and safe place to workout and membership is reasonable. Ladies have access to sauna which is a definite perk!
