I tried like 4 times to cancel my membership and they just gave excuses each time, they were just withdrawing every month the payments when not even using the GIM. 4 months later they said I had to pay a fee to cancel the membership.

Good gym overall with a nice selection of machines and free weights. Negatives are the bathrooms are not always kept clean and the A/C does not work or is not kept on overnight so anyone working out at night or before staff arrives in the morning will have to workout in a very humid environment.

Update 9/16/25: There is a member of the gym walking around without clothes on, and exposing himself to other patrons after hours. The gym owner has been notified by multiple gym goers and has refused to take action. Something to think about.

The 'Fitness 1440' is the best! We have been to several gyms around Buford, Dacula, Lawrenceville, and Hamilton areas, but this one on Braselton Hywy is the best! It is so clean and nice and the management is very friendly all the time! We recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and a nice one with accomodations at its best!!

Love this gym. I have been a member for about 6 months and while it's somewhat small in size the layout of machines and free weights is efficient. The staff are always polite and fix any problems with machines quickly. They also do a really good job of keeping paper towels and soap stocked.

I've been coming here since 2019, and that says a lot. The place is clean and they have good service with friendly staff. It gets really busy around 5-7 pm,but otherwise not to bad.

If I could give zero stars. Management is absolutely deplorable; is not welcoming to customers and treats certain customers differently from others. The equipment is old. Treadmills are often out of service. The bathrooms need cleaning. Water only drips out to wash your hands. If you are looking for a Fitness1440, please save yourself and go to a different location. Your hard earned money will be better spent someplace else.

So glad this is not my home gym because I would never go back. This place smelled of trash, feet and sweat! I was in and out! Needless to say, staff doesn’t enforce cleanliness. Only machines that were available were the cardio machines because every piece of equipment was being sat on by either someone between sets or sat on by people on their phones. Again, due to cleanliness and lack thereof I did not want to work in with anyone. True it’s 24 hours but as a visitor, that didn’t apply to me.
I pulled out my phone and did a quick IG video in the form of a selfie and that was a big NO NO. The manager had the nerve to tell me I couldn’t take a selfie because it of the signs and it could make people feel uncomfortable… UMM Mo, if they don’t care about the funk, awful lighting, green colors, and dirty mirror… why would they care about me taking a picture of myself? 🤔🤷🤔

Update: it is still sauna-like inside. The air is actually wet walking in and there are still no ceiling fans to at least circulate the air. That is disappointing.

We really like having a smaller gym so close to our home. However, it is always stuffy and humid in there. Some ceiling fans and lowering the AC would help tremendously. I have noticed that there are many senior citizens who attend regularly and the elevated temperatures in the gym can be very harmful to them.

I’ve been a gym rat for over twenty years and this is HANDS DOWN THE BEST gym I’ve ever been to. We’re a military family of twenty-one years, so I’ve been to A LOT of gyms. They are clean. When things break they are fixed quick. I see professional cleaners in there…. as well as the staff keeping up on sanitation regularly. The owner and the staff are friendly and professional. Unless I move away, or ownership changes, I will remain a lifetime member!!

Not a very good 24 hr gym. They have an electronic door lock that is unreliable to say the least. Imagine getting up early in the morning, driving to the gym in the rain to only discover you are locked out. This has happened to me two weeks in a row i.e Monday March 14 and Wed March 23.

Really the best gym, best management and staff. I'd tried the LA brand and other national brands, and they cannot compare to good, local staff and service. Compared to the other brands, 1440 is clean, cool temp, and every staff member I've seen is actually a nice person. I was accustomed to getting really stuck up attitude especially from the LA brand, but 1440 staff treat me like a human.

Mo is amazing. He totally worked with us to get us back in the gym after the initial Covid wave passed. I could sing 1440's praises all day. They're really that good, I recommend wholeheartedly.

Joined this gym about a month ago and I've been very impressed with it's cleanliness and selection of equipment. I only ever go early in the morning before staffed hours, so it's never very crowded (usually the same 7 or 8 people) but everyone is very friendly and respectful of each other. I've moved around the country quite a bit and I usually try a few different gyms before settling on one, but there isn't a reason for me to try anywhere else this time!

Great gym, great price. It's fairly small, but has everything you need and is never overcrowded. They also don't have any fancy classes or programs, but that allows the membership fee to stay pretty low. The staff are very friendly and keep the place clean. Cleanest gym I've ever been in. Am actually a member at LA Fitness but joined here during covid. Took me 5 min to join. So professional and quick a process. Not the largest gym. In the world but they have the *right* equipment and it's all brand spanking new, and well cared for. And the place is absolutely spotless. Best care for gym I've ever been a member of. On top of that they're open 24/7. Staff is courteous and professional. A truly spectacular training experience.

I've been a member of various gyms over the years, Fitness 1440, the staff and the owner Moe are all absolutely great. The facility is clean, with new equipment, laid out well and everything you could need. The staff are friendly , attentive but not pushy, make you feel welcomed and that your experience counts. Moe is there on a regular basis amd on the rare occasion that hes not, the team clearly has it well handled. Moe has his cell # on the business cards in the event he is not on site and a client needs him...
I currently am still under contract elsewhere amd joined here because its that good amd I didn't want to wait . the best decision I could have made

I am new to this area and wanted a gym that was close to my home. My husband and I went for a tour and we signed up. They are a 24 hour gym which is convenient for people who work different shifts and still get in a workout. They have the machines or you can use the free weights. Their bathrooms and showers were very clean with the standard lockers in each. They also hand cubby holes to place your stuff if you're in for a quick session.

A feature that you can get for only an extra $10 a month is what's called red light rejuvenating therapy. It is designed to help tighten the pores, reduce fine lines, stretch marks and wrinkles, relief joint tension, stimulating the entire body giving more energy. I can attest that it was very relaxing and I definitely felt more energized once my 15 minute session was complete. You can do it before or after a workout. I did it before.

The staff was very polite and helpful. Even remembered my name as I was leaving. It's this type of attention to detail that makes this gym stand out among the rest. The prices are reasonable at only $25 a month. Considering all that you get we couldn't pass the deal up. They are also part of the silver sneaker program for the seniors who might be looking for a smaller gym.

All in all I suggest checking out this gym. I will be starting a blog showcasing my red light therapy journey on the website Medium. It'll detail how well the red light therapy works and my work out as a whole. I can be found under my name.

Can't believe this many stars. Its obvious this are fake reviews. This place sucks the people suck the equipment suck and canceling suck too. I had to move and went in to cancel told me I had to do online. Wwwwwwhhhhheeeerrrreeeee? There is nowhere online, called them never answer. Still charging my card. Feel like I am just going to close my bank account just to stop them from robbing me for something I dont use. Its been 4 months since i moved and tried to cancel. 4 months of paying for something that I don't use. Like I said they suck this is robbery bad business. Clean, nice selection of equipment (the newer Matrix machines even count your reps), nicely spaced areas, 24 hours, easy to join and easy to cancel if needed.

The locker room is small and only has one shower (didn't matter much to me since I stay nearby).

I would recommend for anyone looking for local, 24 hour access, nice selection of equipment and not to crowded.

Pricing was very fair when I joined.

Before 1440 moved to this location, it was owned by another gym. Which was nice but it only had gym equipment & restrooms. So when 1440 opened, I was amazed on how they renovated it! The floor plan is a lot more opened & doesn't feel so cramped. They also added showers and tanning beds. Compared to what it looked like before, they definitely made the space itself worth the $/month. It's a great location for the price and the gym equipment is new and state of the art! I would highly recommend this gym!
