I have been a gym member here for four years since moving to McDonough, and it is truly the best! The owners and staff are always friendly and willing to help. There is never an issue with cleanliness and rarely a problem with equipment not functioning. It may not be as large as other gyms, but I prefer quality over quantity, so this place definitely meets all my needs.

I love the fact that if you remember ship you get to only spend $30 for unlimited classes. I like that because I have been trying to find a way to do more than just working out on my own. Fitness 1440 McDonough is hands-down the best gym in the area! The facility is spotless, well-organized, and fully stocked with every machine and piece of equipment you could ever need — from free weights and squat racks to specialized machines for legs, glutes, and upper body. The cardio area is top-notch, and I love the variety (treadmills, stair climbers, ellipticals, bikes, Target 24 area, and more).

The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and truly cares about helping members reach their goals. The atmosphere is motivating without being intimidating — whether you’re brand new to the gym or an experienced lifter, you’ll feel comfortable here.

What really sets Fitness 1440 apart is the community. Everyone is supportive, the trainers are knowledgeable and approachable, and the energy in the gym makes you want to push yourself harder every day.

If you’re serious about your fitness journey, this is the place to be. I couldn’t recommend Fitness 1440 McDonough more highly!

I was working out at LA fitness & planet fitness before I found this gem of a gym & I have to say this is probably the best, friendliest, up to date, & cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. I travel for work so the gym is my safe place away from travel chaos, so when I come here I always feel at home. Staff is amazing & the equipment is awesome compared to other gyms. Reply bk to Owner: No I am positive I have the right gym. This gym is in a small plaza and there’s parking behind the gym in the back of the building. You even have a note on the door stating there’s parking in the back unless you have moved the note. Also, there’s a body wax spa at the end of the plaza. Now perhaps your employee provided me with the incorrect information at the time of my visit. It was a tall African American guy wearing a black scarf or doo rag at the time on his head and he was using the vacuum cleaner when I walked in.

I tried this gym out for a week before deciding to join a different gym. I made a decision not to join because I don’t like the idea of long contracts that I can not cancel at anytime or within 30 days.

Great neighborhood gym! Not too big, not too small. Owners are often onsite and friendly staff keeps the gym spotless. Good mix of equipment; lots of cardio machines, TRX and open floor space, free weights and benches along with exercise/muscle specific Matrix brand machines. A great gym for beginners and advanced members alike, good mix of genders and ages. Everyone can feel comfortable and safe working out here. It's not a bad facility. However, a lot of standing around talking with others while holding machines was an observation, which is always an issue for me when I spend my money like everyone else.
Most people just want to utilize the equipment and move on to the next so everyone can get a good workout and leave.

Not to far from home, excellent staff, outstanding machines where you don't even have to keep count of your reps, the machines do it for you, they also keep your rest time in between sets, very, very helpful. My husband and I are seniors. We are a member of silver sneakers with our health insurance. We like to walk every day, but some days it’s raining or to cold outside. We found a wonderful gym to work inside. It is very clean. The staff is friendly. And the parking is safe. We watch our vehicles while working out. Great gym for inside workouts. And it’s open 24/7. BEST GYM EVER! I’ve been a member of a 24/7 fitness, LA Fitness, and Planet Fitness. By far FITNESS 1440 has them beat. I never thought I’d like a smaller more personal gym but they have so many machines and lots of space and areas for exactly what you need. Nice clean local gym. I do like that they are open all night which is perfect for me. However I’d have to agree that the music is not quite my style. It is loud. There are so many music options for work out that you can download in clean versions. It’s not for everybody which is fine I guess. Other than that it is clean and spacious. When I walked in with my husband for the first time we were shocked at how big it was! Since then I have been reaching my fitness goals and have referred several friends. I even had my husband get a membership even though he attends another gym and he likes this one. Go see for yourself.

I really like this gym. My ONLY complaint is the music 😫😫😫😫 Not only is it not the best, it’s EXTREMELY loud!!!! I’m having to purchase new headphones because I can hear the gym music over my AirPods no matter how loud they are. The music selection is awful for workouts. I really wish they’d have an up-to-date playlist. Nothing seems current with the music. The music late night stays the same. Rock/Metal/maybe a Christian song every now and then. This caters to ONE TYPE of your clientele. I know… it’s just music. But it speaks volumes. It also makes me not want to workout much because I’m constantly trying to find a loud song on Apple Music to cover up their music.

This is definitely the cleanest and most taken care of gym I have ever been to! We just moved back from Florida and were going to a commercial gym, and I can’t tell you how impressive and significant the difference is in the quality of machines and atmosphere at 1440. Pretty pricey when compared to most fitness centers! I've found one $10 cheaper for a monthly membership that has a pool, daily fitness classes, trainers on deck, a spa, a tanning room and a smoothie bar amongst many other things and it's about 4xs as large as well! So look around B4 spending your money! But the staff here is friendly and kind!

I love this gym! Literally the best gym in McDonough for my standards. The owner is a really cool down to earth guy and the staff is super friendly. It's not too big and overcrowded and it's not too small. The restroom and shower area are perfect. I love when they leave the doors open sometimes for that natural air to flow through. The only issue I have is I wish they had one more incline bench for my sit ups and one more basic bench. The other workout benches are just a tad bit too high for me. This gym is still 5 stars for me though.

This is by far the best gym I have ever been a member of! I have been a member of many gyms across different states and this is the cleanest! With Covid being such a scare right now, there is constantly a staff member cleaning, sanitizer throughout the gym and the bathrooms are extremely clean. The gym also has up-to-date working equipment and working AC which is a huge deal to me considering most gyms I’ve been to are hot, smell like BO and half their equipment is broken. I feel safe at any hour, staffed or unstaffed. The owners and staff are great and extremely helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this gym!

I would love to rate this gym 5 stars but recently the temperature is starting to rise. There is NO air conditioning. They have a solution opening the doors which practically does NOTHING. By far one of the better gyms in McDonough! For it’s smaller size they have everything you possibly need for your workout’s completion. Coming from a bigger gym in the area, I definitely made the right decision with this one.

My girls and I really enjoyed our free one week trial and will be signing up very soon! Robby and Terri, the owners, are such amazing people, spending an extensive amount of time on the tour (Terri) and training with us on the machines the first two days (Robby). I've been working out at this location going on 3 years and it's a very good place to work out in clean great machines to work out with the staff is nice and helpful along with the owners everybody's pretty friendly in a small community gym.

Excellent gym. Everything is clean and in great working order. All machines still look brand new. The owners are awesome. Polite, respectful and very professional. Employees are great. They are always willing to help. I have never seen a machine out of order. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Canceled our membership beginning of August 2021 and are still being charged. Just received a letter from a debt collection agency for an account that we closed August 2021. We canceled due to my wife having seizures and me tearing my ACL and we just got a bill for over $250. Had to stop payment on our cards due to them still charging. All screenshots of us reaching out to them, ABC Fitness solutions, and Fitness 1440 corporate was sent in to the collections company showing we had unanswered emails and texts with the owner after he said he would drop all charges if we call ABC fitness, we could never get an answer. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The equipment is the newest available and in great condition. The facility is always clean and the members are fun and supportive. Fitness 1440 in McDonough is like being part of one big happy family and my kids and I love it!!

Wow where do I even start. I have been coming here since Jan of 2020 and Robby and Terri are amazing people their customer service is A1 and their employees are all pleasant.

The gym is ALWAYS clean even when it seems clean and that is a plus. There is a ton of equipment from free weights to machines and TRX. They truly utilize their space efficiently. So happy I found them.

So far the best gym I've been to. It has everything you could need from cardio, strength training, free weights and so much more. There is also this area called target 24 that gives you an amazing full body workout and great results. They offer classes as well as personal training and the gym is always in great condition. If you are looking for a new gym, this is the one for you!

I have been going to this gym since they first opened and haven’t had a better experience anywhere else. The employees are always so kind and are always cleaning. The variety of machines is very useful in different workouts and they have a good amount of heavy weights for different levels of fitness. If I recommended anything it would definitely be to try out the group fitness classes they have or the personal training. You get a great workout and plenty of personal interaction compared to other gyms that have classes over 30 people. Definitely a great find- go for the tour- it will change your perception of gyms!

Its a simplified gym got all your necessities within 60 meters of you a nice looking gym but the rate for a membership with classes is like 65 a month apposed to a place like LA fitness which has classes a sauna and swimming pool for a rate like 35 a month so I cannot give a 5 based on that

I have been to several gyms over the years and always lose interest but there is something about this gym. I don’t know, maybe it’s the fact the owners feel like family. Maybe it’s because their gym is cleaner then my house (LOL!), maybe it’s because their gym houses over $300k worth of high end equipment....
I enjoy going this time around and I never thought I would say that! In fact, I’ve brought in 3 others that signed up! Try it out! I think you’ll love it

Personally, the best gym in McDonough! The machines are brand new with different tech I have never seen, the bathrooms are very clean as well as the showers and locker rooms, all the seats on every machine is very clean, and even during this pandemic I usually always see people sanitize their machine when they’re done! The staff is super friendly and professional as well. I don’t plan leaving any time soon! You guys are awesome, keep it up!!!
