Here's why this approach is working and is going to work for me: first, its about accountability. Sam, Kyle, and the others at this gym keep me showing up - for myself. Making that commitment to both myself and to a trainer, consistently, GETS ME TO THE GYM as the necessary first step to turning things around. Kyle helps me through great, informed workouts, sharing his good knowledge. Sam provides great knowledge about the most important element of this: NUTRITION. I'm just getting started in a journey to restore good health and healthy eating again. I'm optimistic that selecting this method and Fitness Together is sustainable and is going to produce results. I'll keep my membership at the Alpharetta YMCA but now have more incentive to go and know more about what I'm doing when I get there. Theses guys are all professionals. Sam got me started on my program but then I had to switch to evenings because of my work schedule. Now I work with Kyle. The transition was seamless. The workouts are great and so is the accountability. Definitely recommend this program if you want to invest in yourself.

I went to see Kyle about two-three weeks ago. It was the first time I’ve ever done a personal trainer for working out and my first workout in months to possibly years. Not only was he encouraging, but also respectful to what I could or could not do while also being able to push me to do better and to do workouts that I thought I was unable to do previously. I did not feel judged and he even encouraged me for my workout goals. He supported me and encouraged me throughout my workout that not only made me feel better about working out but also helped me continue through the workout as well. When I couldn’t finish a set, he let me know that it was alright and helped me into the next set we were doing, he did not talk down to me or tell me that I should be able to do it- instead he encouraged me and let me know that thats alright. I let him know that I had issues with my knees and wouldn’t be comfortable jumping, so he gave me a routine without jumping.
If you’re looking to come in for a one on one session, I heavily encourage and recommend going to Kyle.

I have recently joined Fitness Together and have completed my 3rd week of training. I have had an excellent time so far. My time at FT started with a Fitness evaluation, nutrition evaluation, and a STKYU evaluation. This holistic approach will really help me to achieve my goals. I have done my training sessions with Coach Justin and have really enjoyed my workouts so far. I can tell Justin and all of the other coaches are very invested in helping me and the other clients achieve our goals. Justin is very patient and helps come up with different ways to teach me the different exercise routines. I also feel like I am being help accountable to achieve my goals at to stay on top of my exercise and nutrition. I highly recommend FT!

I trained with Kyle Genuso and it was also my 1st time to the establishment. Kyle was very attentive to my goals and thoroughly demonstrated & explained the entire process. He also had a very welcoming demeanor, and had great energy. The other trainers, Will & Justin, also had a very pleasant and welcoming manner. Everything was clean and nicely kept. They offered water & clean towels also. They also had several types of training available. I look forward to getting back in shape and eating healthier. I feel this is a great fit for anyone wanting to understand and receive professional training and plans to meet goals.

Be careful when signing up for a Crunch Gym membership. Make sure you understand their billing system and all costs upfront. If you don’t read the terms carefully, you might end up with surprise charges. When I asked a Crunch representative if I could cancel my membership within three months without penalty, they explained that the policy depends on whether you’ve used the gym or not. My question was whether I could cancel my membership within three months without penalty. The Crunch representative eventually told me that you cannot cancel within the first three months. My phone conversation with the Crunch representative was unpleasant, as he kept giving me roundabout answers from beginning to end.

I walked into Fitness Together for a free trial session. I was greeted by Will(my instructor) and within minutes, everyone else who works there. They all shook my hand and introduced themselves. I was given a tour, and offered snacks and water. Next, it was workout time. Will stayed with me the whole time. He showed me how to do each exercise, then had me do it while he counted everything for me. If my hands needed to be put in a different position, or I needed to do something a little differently, he'd help me get everything correct. The workout went well, and he told me that a personal trainer would be with me whenever I came in for one of those workouts. I love that idea, because I need someone to make me do workouts, otherwise, I give up after a few minutes. After that, I got on a massage table where Will used a massage wand to massage my muscles. Next, it was time to discuss the options for joining. I had a great experience, and will get back there asap! Thanks everyone!

I just wrapped up my first week (and now into my second) at Fitness Together, and so far it’s been a really positive experience. Things started with a consultation with Sam, followed by a nutrition plan and assessment that felt very personalized to my goals and timeline.
I’ve been training with Will, who has been outstanding. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and detail-oriented. Every session feels purposeful because he’s attentive to my form, explains the “why” behind each exercise, and ties it back to the bigger picture. He has a great way of breaking things down so they’re easy to understand, while also pushing me to get the most out of each workout. Will makes training both challenging and motivating, and I leave every session feeling stronger and smarter about how I’m training.
The whole team at Fitness Together brings good energy and seems genuinely invested in making sure you get the most out of your time there, but Will’s guidance has really made my experience so far stand out.

A year ago, I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease postpartum, and it’s been a really tough road. I’m finally at a point where I can start focusing on myself again, but my body isn’t ready for a full-on exercise routine yet.
I decided to reach out to Sam at Fitness Together, just to see if he had any advice on how I could ease back into moving my body until I’m ready to get back into a gym. Sam not only called me back but also took the time to talk through my situation and create a simple, customized 3-day routine I could do—one for when I’m in a flare and one for when I’m not.
The fact that he did this, even though I told him I couldn’t afford a trainer right now, says everything about how much he genuinely cares. He even checked in on me the next day to see how I was doing!
If you’re on the fence about reaching out, do it. Sam goes above and beyond, and I can’t recommend him enough.

I’ve tried many different ways to get fit- from many different workout classes, getting myself to the gym, running etc. but nothing has gotten me quite as dedicated or in shape as I have at Fitness Together. Big shoutout to Will D- he keeps me motivated, accountable to my fitness goals from nutrition to workouts even outside of our sessions, and he still challenges me and pushes me to always get better. He’s flexible and also able to adapt my workouts if necessary. I had a shoulder sprain for about a month and he was able to find workouts that worked around it. I have been attending the pack classes for over 4 months now. I've mainly been coached by Asis and Alex, but have also had sessions with the Sam M. and Sam A. All the trainers are great! FT is amazing. I have been going to this gym for almost 3 years. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. I had never used personal trainers before and FT made it easy to get started, even though I was overweight and out of shape. They not only help me with strength training but also give equal focus to nutrition and other life style changes you should make to sustain your improvements. I am extremely happy with my progress so far. While they are not the least expensive alternative, the quality of service makes it a great value. I can't see myself ever not going here. 5+ stars.

I've been training at FT for about two months and already I feel stronger, which was one of my goals. Everyone is super friendly and encouraging about the exercise and nutrition. They know how to motivate and push me to push harder while also being mindful of safety and health. I have some restrictions due to previous surgeries and they look out for me and help me to work hard to reach my goals without compromising those restrictions. I travel a LOT for work (often 12+ days per month) and they train me virtually using the hotel gyms. All of the trainers are fabulous. Bonus that they are extremely informative about both the exercises effects on my muscles AND nutrition. I learn something new and helpful every time. HIGH RECOMMEND!!

These people were kind and very interested in getting to know you personally. I had to cancel due to doctors orders and they tried to press and press as to why my doctor said I could not work out right now. I’ve been talking to one guy the entire time and as soon as I cancelled, all of a sudden it was hard getting in reach with anyone.
Since I said I would reach out to them once I’ve been cleared by the doctors, they call consistently twice a week and then followup with text. It’s borderline harassment. I keep telling them to please leave me alone and I will contact them. Yet and still they are still calling and texting.
This past Tuesday, one of the main desk guys called and said that I need to call them ASAP. Made it sound like an emergency. When I’m not sure why I would have to. So I did not.
They are making me not want to even go to their gym just due to how they are acting now with I guess trying to get me to sign up and pay monthly. It’s very annoying.

I joined one of their programs almost 8 months ago. I have been able to maintain high energy levels throughout day, increase flexibility and achieve fat loss as my goals. I am very fortunate to have some of the best coaches there. I have been working with Asis to meet my next level goals. Asis has developed a customize program based on my needs and keep it interested (not boring, keeping the same exercises all the time). One of the important things in these programs is recovery part and Asis made sure I am aware of the techniques to recover quickly, including stretches and diet (protein, carbs etc requirement). They will keep a check on you as an accountability partner too! Fitness Together is a fantastic environment to become healthy. The trainers are very knowledgeable and fun! They teach me new exercises, ensuring I'm doing them safely and correctly. In fact, they've taught me exercises I didn't know I could do which has given me so much confidence in myself! During my sessions, the trainers and I also have fun and typically laugh a good bit. The combination of laughing and exercising always reduces the stress from work. I’ve also worked with the other trainers - Phillip, Malik, Hunter, and Ariel - they’re all amazing and really friendly, and you get to learn different tips, exercises, etc. from all of them.
It’s a semi-private studio environment so you don’t have to worry about being judged! The space is always clean and well-stocked with snacks, towels, water, etc. Their use of technology is also great - you receive a heart rate monitor, you can see your schedule on an app, you get scanned periodically on the Styku to see your progress, and you can even text your trainers!
You won’t regret hiring a personal trainer to get in shape!

I was a little apprehensive before I started Fitness Together because I had not been exercising regularly for a long time. But Phillip Buss, one of Fitness Together coach set me up with a customized exercise program, Not just an exercise program, but really a better way to go through life, getting more sleep and having more energy. My goal was to gain muscle tone, lose 30 pounds, and have better balance. I have been working with Phillip for about 6 months and I have lost 29 pounds so far, my balance is much better and my muscle have gotten toned up. The main reason for getting fit was to be there in case my mom fell and I could catch her It is much easier and attainable to reach your goals, "cross the finish line" when you have someone coaching you, cheering for you and keeping you accountable. All of the Fitness Together coaches that I have worked with are very professional, and let you know what muscles you are using and why you are doing certain exercises. Also, I have enjoyed the weekly tips and recipes.

I have been going to Fitness Together (FT) - Johns Creek for several years, but really put in a concerted effort starting in January 2019 to attend classes and sessions regularly. I live in Lawrenceville so it is a distance to go to FT in Johns Creek, but it is well worth it. The trainers are awesome and truly care about your success. I have lost 75 lbs since January and have increased my stamina and endurance in addition to losing inches and gaining muscle. But I've also regained my self-confidence. I could have joined a gym, but there would not be the accountability and the personal attention that I get by going to FT. Not only do you get support from the trainers, you also get support from other FT members. This is the place if you need the jumpstart to get your fitness goals back on track or further challenged. Everyone here is professional, knowledgeable and caring. I came off not being able to do much upper body strength work for 15 months due to breaking both wrists within a 3 month span. Could not do a push up with hands flat on floor when I started - could do 5-6 on my fists & knees. After 6 weeks, I did 3 sets of 25 push-ups with hands flat on floor (on knees). Saw great improvement in overall strength which is what I wanted. Highly recommend this fantastic group of trainers!

I was looking for some sort of trigger to kickstart my weight loss goals. I received an advertisement on my Facebook about a 6 Week Fitness Challenge at Fitness Together ( FT). I sent my contact info via Facebook and in a few hours I was reached out to by Russ Yeager. He was very approachable and scheduled a time to meet me at the gym. I went in person and saw the facility and after speaking to Russ I knew right away that I was going to join. Fast forward 6 weeks, here I am after finishing the challenge and have signed up to be a member for 1 more year. I have thoroughly enjoyed the PACK sessions run by trainers Matthew and Andrew. Both of them are super friendly and take the time to coach you for your personal goals. The pack sessions also offer a lot more variety and its fun to interact with other clients. It really helped me work harder looking at the other clients sweat it out. Andrew is also specialized in recommending the right diets/ meal plans. Overall very satisfied customer and would highly recommend to join if you are personally committed to make a difference to your life.

Russ and the guys (Demetrius/Andrew)are GREAT!!! I enjoyed my time at FT-Johns Creek. Unfortunately, my availability to train has caused me to have to leave, but I would come back in a heart beat. If you are looking for place to workout in the Johns Creek/Alpharetta area, I would definitely recommend Russ and his team!!

Fitness Together has been the perfect place for me to work out on my quest to lose weight and be more fit. I have been working out at FT consistently since November 2014. I love working out in the small pack classes. I get the benefit of working out with a personal trainer in a small group setting that is affordable for my budget. I also love the positive and supportive vibe of the place. All the trainers are great but I work out with Thomas the most. he motivates me to do more even when I don't want to and helps me stay on track with my fitness goals.

I recently joined up with the team from fitness together and I'm really enjoying it! I love the small workout groups! It's intimate, but also has a motivating sense of community! Thomas keeps it light and fun, all the while, working my tail off!! Before I know it....it's over! I highly recommend this, if you're over all the big impersonal gym environments!! I have never been someone that enjoys exercise. This is mostly because I didn't know what to do and felt intimidated going into a big gym environment. I had a friend that joined Fitness Together and she brought me once to see if I liked it. I decided to join that night. I have been a member there since April of 2016. I can now say that I actually enjoy exercising and getting fit. Thomas Dasta makes it fun even on days when I have to force myself to get there. for the first time in my adult life I have muscles:) I would highly recommend Fitness Together to anyone looking to get fit and feel better about themselves!!

I spent three month at FT getting back into the gym groove. I liked the fact that the group classes were small because it allowed the instructors to monitor your moves and correct you if you were wrong. I mostly attended the evening classes with coach Thomas, but also had the pleasure of working with coaches Heather, Demetrius and Andrew. They're all great in their own way, so you really can't go wrong!

In Mid-October 2015, At 61, overweight and horribly out of shape and newly retired, I had to make a change. That saying "If not now, then when?" had been playing through my head. The personal trainer idea in a small studio was appealing. I knew I needed a focused approach that forced me to stay committed to succeed. I signed up for eight weeks of four personal training sessions per week. Crazy, right?? Just before the holidays. But it was the best decision I've ever made. At the end of the eight weeks I had lost 10% body fat. Clothes are falling off. I've taken my fat, fat clothes to Goodwill. I don't have to buy 1X or 2x anymore. I can shop in the regular clothes section. And I survived thanksgiving and Chrisrmas without packing on weight. I'm so happy with the program that I have committed to continuing this full on approach through the end of March. After that I'll start participating in their group classes. The smallness of the studio is one of the things I like. You get to know all of the trainers. Not just the one you work with. They all have different specialties. And there is a holistic vibe. Every workout my trainer asks me what I've eaten that day and what I'm planning for dinner. They make sure you drink water. There's a fruit bowl at the counter. This is the most physically demanding thing I've ever committed to. It's very hard work. But this particular combination of people and environment and variety of workouts is working for me. I had almost lost hope that I would ever get in shape. But this place is working for me. I am more energetic, am moving better, am thrilled knowing that every time I try on something from my closet it will not only fit but may even be too big now, and I feel very optimistic about the years ahead with a healthier body. I don't write many reviews, but this has been life changing for me and I needed to share my experience with anyone who may be thinking they will never be in shape. Seriously, if I can do it, anyone can. You just need the right people to help you on the path. For me, this is it!

This is an awesome place. The trainers are very friendly and they know what they are doing. I have been going for over two months and have seen noticeable changes in my body, confidence, and diet. Another great benefit of FT is their nutrition coach, Stephanie Wolfe. She helped me to adopt a healthy diet. With the combination of continuous workout (thanks to my awesome trainers) and great nutrition (thanks to Stephanie), I have seen great results and moved steadily toward my fitness goals; my strength has increased a lot, my waist is thiner by at least two inches, and I have gained weight. I highly recommend FT to anybody.

Fitness Together at Johns Creek it a fabulous workout studio. The boutique gym setting makes for a great place to be successful in getting fit. The workouts are in small groups called PACKS. The PACKS are lead by experienced trainers and never have more than 8-9 people in each class. In these groups you experience one on one help with a trainer. I really enjoy my workouts at Fitness Together and look forward to the classes.

Shortly after a major shoulder operation to repair a torn rotator cuff and a slap tear of the labrum in January, 2013, I joined Fitness Together in Johns Creek as part of my rehabilitation. By the summer I was almost back to full strength and have continued working out with the FT team for the next two and half years. The crew is excellent, in particular Demeteius or "D" as we call him, the trainer I've had since day one for the 7am group trainings. I'm an Ironman triathlete with a long record of competitive swimming and football and these guys still kicked by butt in just 45 minutes, three days a week. Over the three years of my membership in Group Training I've witnessed people of all shapes, sizes and athletic abilities join our group and can attest to the patience and abilities of the trainers to accommodate each individual regarding training needs and thresholds. No matter where you are in your training learning curve, the folks at Fitness Together can take you to the next level. Great work guys, specifically you, D!!!

I began an 8 week challenge at Fitness Together a little over 4 weeks ago. I wanted to kickstart my fitness program as I ramp up to begin training for a 1/2 marathon and a triathlon. I'm half way there and am seeing great results. The small group sessions are wonderful and all of the trainers are very good; they educate as to what muscles are being worked, make sure you are doing correctly and make suggestions if you do need to modify. They constantly encourage you to challenge yourself. Best of all I am seeing some inches come off as evidenced by my 'pants' test. I am almost there! Thanks Russ and team!

I was very active when I first moved to Atlanta 18 years ago, however as my four kids got more active I sacrificed and devoted that time to my kids activities. Well fast forward 18 years and now they are all grown and on their own and I needed a kick start to get myself back into shape. I have a job which requires me to travel, so when Russ started the 5:30 am men fitness course, I decided to give it a try. Our course has between 5 - 8 men per session and is four days per week. Once you get over the shock of getting up at 5 am, the 45 minute sessions instructed by Andrew has been just what I needed. I've lost weight and feel stronger after the 8 week session. I've signed up again for the next 8 week session to keep the new energy I've acquired going.

I joined Fitness Together to get a "kickstart" on a fitness routine. The pack workouts were perfect for me. I am certain that all the trainers are fabulous, but I worked mostly with Thomas and he is awesome. He gives you just the right amount of "encouragement" to increase your workouts to maximize your strength and endurance. If you are looking for a place to help you get on the right track for a healthier you, don't look any further, this is the place to go. They also offer a Nutrition Coach, Stephanie, which I also utilized and she really helped me understand the impact my food choices were making on my health. I love this gym! It's small, it's personal and the packs are awesome! The instructors are inspiring and motivating. The packs are never more that 7-8 people so the trainers really get to know you and your limits, which is awesome for someone like me that never wants ot push myself. I am stronger now than I have been in years! I would highly recommend this gym to anyone, male or female that wants to get in shape and be challenged.

June and I have been so pleased over the first two months of our exercise program with you at Fitness Together! You all, especially Andrew, have worked with us to identify our needs - so important! We are in our early 80"s and need to be moving well, so flexibility and endurance are necessary - which you are addressing!. Also, you provide nutrition information which we are aware needs to go hand in hand to be well balanced with the exercise. We are not quite there yet for only healthy meals in order to lose weight, but you have given that aspect great importance.
Andrew has helped me greatly with shoulder massaging of my right shoulder due to arthritis - he is better than physical therapy in helping me to gain better movement and less pain!! Many thanks,

Lets just start by saying that I have a gym membership at a big gym and I just don't like to go. I'm not good at setting a time and working out by myself. I just don't like it at all.
I just finished the 8 week period at Fitness Together and even though I am not a scale watcher...I feel so much better and I know I've lost inches pretty much everywhere. I love that I am working out with others. That in itself is very motivating. It is also like social hour for me.
The trainers that I've had are fantastic! Heather is so motivating and kind. She is meticulous about stretching and the quality of the movement so we don't hurt ourselves. She has been awesome modifying for my shoulder issues. She consistently shows 3 ways of doing an exercise so each person can challenge themselves accordingly. In her packs, I am confident that I am getting the most out of my workouts.
Demetrius is also a master motivator. His workouts are challenging and fun. He has been awesome at modifying my workouts also. He is tough but makes you WANT to get through it. He somehow knows what you can do. I'm getting mobility back in my shoulder and am almost pain free. I don't need to go to therapy anymore. I was so pleased with FT that I signed up again and will be working out at the same times as usual with Heather and Demetrius. They are very different yet both awesome. I highly recommend them.

I absolutely love working out at Fitness Together! My first private session with Bill was awesome! He was constantly motivating me throughout the workout. He challenged me, and encouraged me to push myself to get the most from the workout. I really enjoy the PACK training sessions with Demetrius too! It is something different every time. Personally, I find myself interested in what we will be doing each session. Having a small group also creates a sense of being apart of a team. Everyone encourages each other through the workouts. I find it keeps me motivated to keep going, and not do the bare minimum. Fitness Together offers a great atmosphere to work out in; In addition, the staff provides an inviting, and fun experience to everyone! I highly recommend it to anyone!

I've been working out at Fitness Together in Johns Creek since Jan and it has been great!! Misty is an awesome trainer that personalizes my workouts to fit me and what my workout goals are, not a cookie cutter workout that all people do. The workouts are never boring and are constantly changing!!! She also shows me things that can be done at home without all the equipment, which is awesome!!! Absolutely love it. They push me hard to excel. Great place to hit it hard without other people watching you. Give it a shot. Thomas, one of the trainers, has really helped me achieve goals and made me gain a lot of muscle. They have helped me in the pool too. I have dropped my previous personal best 50 freestyle by half of a second. Which is a ton in swimming.

FT was just the push and accountability I needed to reach my fitness goals! I went to 5 other fitness centers before I started at FT and the personal touch they provide is what made me realize that it was what I needed. Each of the trainers know my strengths, weaknesses, and goals which is important since I'm there 3-4 times a week. They cater to each individual who is there and the combination of 1 on 1 sessions and the PACK has helped me to reach the first set of fitness goals. I know I've still got a ways to go but the encouragement and knowledge that Misty, Russ and the team provide assure me that I'll hit them soon.
I also love the community that goes in and out of those doors on a daily basis. Everyone is so encouraging and kind which motivates you especially during the PACK workouts. The trainers keep you in line but working out with the same people every once in a while gives you the extra push to keep you going. I would do anything for the people at FT. I've got to lose 9 lbs by the end of the year and know I'll be able to do it with the encouragement of the team at FT!

The Fitness Together staff has been extremely helpful and supportive during my journey of living a healthy and fit lifestyle. They challenge me, but are not pushy. They tailor my workout program according to my fitness level, but they encourage me to move beyond my comfort zone.
I like the options of 1:1 personal training and the small pack sessions. This creates a more intimate setting and is less intimidating for anyone who is more of a novice trainee.

I LOVE fitness together! I've tried regular gyms (LA fitness) and hardly ever went. I've also tried crossfit but for me being a beginner it was too much. I tried crossfit with Misty and LOVED her! She was so patient when I had to have a break and but was very encouraging without yelling at me. (I'm not into the whole army style). I've also started Juice Plus and have already been noticing a true difference within two weeks!
I'm all about accountability and texting Fitness Together my meals helps me to not cheat and they educate me on what areas I was lacking.
You'll walk away satisfied the first day!
