Commencement was moved here due to weather. Itβs a nice facility, but for this event it was a bit too dark, all our pictures indoors are not very good.

They have plenty of exercise machines and other areas, such as a swimming pool and basketball courts, to use for activities.

They need to replace the handrails.
Some people need that extra assistance walking up and down the steps.

It gets so busy! As expected for a campus facility. The weights on top floor are arranged down a long hall which is kind of weird but has everything you could need.

Attended a UAA Swimming Conference
The event staff was pleasant. The management of the tickets/ pre-sales was very backwards.
Very counter productive and not on-line π€
The restroom facilities were good.
Worst wifi and cellular data connection ever. This was disappointing by far since we were trying to upload team updates via social media.
Parking for the event was great!

Nice venue for a law school graduation but Emory should have had family and friends attending use chairs rather than the most uncomfortable and unsafe bleachers I've had to use in a long time. It was a 3 hour presentation and everyone was complaining. 2 days later, I'm still in pain. 1/2 of the chairs they'd unfolded for grads were unused and would've been able to seat at least 1/2 the audience. Whoever made that decision for Emory screwed the pooch on that one. :(

I wish there was an option for 0 β's but the bottom line is that the Aquatics "Director" seems very incompetent.
Every month there seems to be an issues with the schedule for the pool; and it was my understanding that she has been in charge of the pool for a while now.
Also everytime I tried to come in an complain to her (this month) she was NEVER thereπ₯.
Like, what the heck!

They have what you need to get a workout in. Weirdest layout of a gym I've been to and seems like there is a lot of wasted space. They could use an update on the barbell weights. They have bumper plates but they are very old. They also don't open till 6:30 a.m. (most gyms open at 5 a.m.) and the pool doesn't open till 11:00 a.m. The staff is nice though.

The facilities, mainly the basketball and tennis courts, are pretty nice. I mostly play basketball here on Fridays and the weekend, but I rarely get to play because of the open hours. When I come at 6 to play during the fall on Fridays, either the womenβs basketball team is on the court, an indoor soccer game reserved it, or volleyball happens in the main gym. I wanna actually play, but itβs frustrating when I have to turn home because I canβt. I donβt wanna keep having to pay just to turn around because I canβt use the court.

Our 13 years old daughter is participating in a soccer tournament in Atlanta during this weekend and she wanted to watch the Emory University ladies soccer game today. Nice sport facilities, we met the baseball hall of fame Mr. John Smoltz a retired Atlanta Braves pitcher. He was very polite and allowed our son to have a picture with him.

I have been working out here for three years. It has always been satisfying. Staffs have been providing services kindly, facilities are always clean to use, and the gym provides most essential equipments, except Hammer machines and Hack squat machine.

Clean facility, friendly staff, well lit. But lacking in weightlifting and proper powerlifting equipment. The section set up for general weightlifting is not big enough to accommodate the volume of people.

Indoor tennis courts that are entirely underused to warrant the amount of space they take away from the primary workout areas which are used by far more people. The equipment is in need of an upgrade and there really needs to be more of certain equipment and less of others. For example, thereβs a grand total of two 25lb dumbbell sets which is far and away the most commonly used and sought after weight. Get rid of some of those 100lb dumbbells and get more in the 10-30 lb range. Pool is nice, but the open swim hours can be pretty inconvenient. Not a huge fan of how toilet flushes make the water in the showers cold. Should be better for what people pay.

Watched my sister swim with masters group. Very well organized. We love watching them swim there. Only thing i really recommend is on the platforms where they get their metals should have some slide proof/mat/rug on them. My sister slipped both times she was up there.

Me & my 12 year old son attended the opening ceremony for the SOGA Games: The Special Olympics of Georgia. This gym is well built, we'll utilized, and we'll named. We all should be most grateful to Mr. Robert Woodruff (he provided many benevolent gifts from his Coca-Cola empire to both Emory University and the Atlanta Arts community). We thoroughly enjoyed being inside this fabulous building, and witnessing the fruits of these kids labors as they celebrated their Summer Special Olympics Games.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Emory forces me to pay $150 a semester to use THE WORST facilities I have ever seen! I am a graduate student and live off campus. I drove all the way to campus to us one of the 3 spin bikes they have available (all of which are rusted out). The one bike that has clipped pedals was not working, so I nicely asked to use the spin studio (that was not being used). the 3 people I talked to all said I was not allowed in there, where there are at least 30 "newer"/nicer spin bikes. Why not take one of these and make it accessible to all!? Emory, I want my money back!!!
