We have had an amazing experience at GA! My daughter started out with their tumbling class almost 3 years ago. She is now doing her first year of full year allstar cheer there. She is loving it! I have watched her tumbling and cheer skills grow by leaps and bounds! She is thriving and is learning so much about good sportsmanship, teamwork, time management, accountability and responsibility. The coaches are all so dedicated, supportive, encouraging, and caring to both athletes and parents. My daughter calls GA her second home!

This gym was supposed to be a welcoming caring community and environment for all athletes, i’m ashamed to say that’s not the case whatsoever. On another note aside from all the other bs they put these kids through, it should not be any of the coaches business on what their ex athletes do after parting ways with said gym, it is very petty, very bitter and very unprofessional.

I can not say enough positive things about this gym, the coaches and the owners! My daughter started cheering in kindergarten at Georgia Stars and continued for 12 years graduating last year. The life lessons she learned were invaluable and the confidence and accountability helped mold her into the young woman she is today! A lot to do with that was her amazing coach Lorenzo. He taught her how to win with grace and lose with dignity, among so many other things! And Tater still continues to be a role model to her even in her freshman year of college. Georgia Allstars is a family!! If you’re looking for a place where your child can be loved, coached, and mentored at the same time, this is the gym for you! We’ve had the pleasure of having an awesome coach (Lorenzo) for my daughter for the past four years and he is the absolute best! He and all of the coaches encourage all of the athletes to be their best and to carry themselves as respectable children, teens, and young adults. The structure and organization of the program is immeasurable. At GA, you are not just a number in a swarm of teams. My daughter is headed into her seventh season with the gym and she has thrived the entire time. Starting on a half year team in first grade, she has developed so many invaluable life lessons through her time with Georgia Allstars. Determination, loyalty, the value of hard work, teamwork and so much more. Lessons I could not have as fully imparted on her at home - all of her coaches, private lesson & tumbling instructors, support staff and the owners of Georgia Allstars have poured into her life in the most wonderful way. She sees it as her second home and she has always felt very loved and supported

Having been at Georgia Allstars for six years, I can attest that all of the recent one star reviews of Georgia Allstars are not from people who have actually ever been to, or were a part of Georgia Allstars, but seem to be solicited by one disgruntled family who was unhappy with the expectations of a competitive all-star cheer program. The comments on specific coaches are 100% off-base and fully manufactured. It’s a true commitment to be a part of such a successful program, and not all are ready for it.

All of our coaches are excellent, and rightfully have high standards for athletes at a competitive (and highly decorated) gym, in an extremely competitive sport.

If you are looking for a place your child can thrive and develop, whether as a tumbler or as an All Star cheerleader - Georgia Allstars, as part of the “Purple Family”, is exactly where you want to be!

The unprofessionalism and negativity that the owner Tater allows Coach Lorenzo to exhibit is disheartening and unacceptable. The negative name calling, and belittling of the children and their families is simply heartbreaking. All interested parents, I strongly advise you to find another cheer organization. This is not the one for you unless you’re ok with disrespect and negative attitudes for you and your child/children.

Unfortunately, it seems to have become a common tactic for coaches to belittle and ostracize students; perhaps due to the popularity of a certain archetype. However, this type of mental and emotional abuse will not be tolerated in my household. We decided against Georgia All Star Cheerleading because of Coach Lorenzo. We sincerely hope that the owners will consider better staffing in the near future because students need support and encouragement, positive reinforcement and affirming methods in order to perform with confidence and continue to elevate their self-esteem. That is what we are seeking but not what this group has provided.

Coach Lorenzo should not be teaching children anything he is racist towards his own people. He is not fit to teach children he is disrespectful of peoples time. Georgia Allstars is hands down the best allstar cheer gym in the area. I LOVE the small gym feel and the family atmosphere that comes with it. Every coach and owner knows every athlete and parent and I couldn’t feel more grateful that when my daughter walks through the doors and onto the mat she is greeted by everyone like she is their own. She has cheered at this gym for 4 years and has always been coached specifically by Coach Lorenzo Scott. He is an amazing cheer coach and my daughter would not be where she is today without his leadership and instruction. Coach Lorenzo has the unique ability to pull the very best out of every athlete. They not only learn the sport of cheer but life lessons and accountability that will stay with them through life. We are so excited for our 5th season and could not be more proud to wear purple and black.

I wish i could give NO stars! Coach Lorenzo is horrible. His attitude is even worse than his coaching! For someone who is supposed to be shaping and molding child athletes for competitions, he needs to be coached himself! I wouldn’t subject any children to that man, his team or the gym. The owner, Tater knows this and disregards the parents concerns & complaints constantly! That let’s me know that this is just the culture of the gym, owners and the coaches. And that is a problem as a whole. I would never want to subject any child to that kind of environment. Especially, paying for that type of treatment as well. It’s a NO for me. And anyone i know!

Well this was a terrible experience!! There is a certain amount of care that should be taken when dealing with impressionable children. Coach Lorenzo has no tact in nurturing the positive development of those that he coaches. Ga AllStars , this coach Lorenzo should not be utilized by people trying to encourage their children learn positive team sports. Also the hands off approach of the owner Tater allows Lorenzo to act a tyrant over the team and the parents who pay an exorbitant amount for the service provided! This team was a nightmare for me and my family. The coach Lorenzo and owner Tater show favoritism to certain families and athletes. The coach would change the time of the practices at the last minute and while staying committed to the team and in a moments notice adjusting my life to accommodate his change in schedule the same curtesy is not extended to the athletes and families. Coach Lorenzo is nice nasty over text but smiles in your face and shows favoritism. My little one left the team feeling defeated and Undervalued from some of the comments that he made. Children need positivity in order to thrive and he doesn’t give that
