Unorganized and overpriced. Rude front desk staff, not just to parents but children as well. Little communication. Coaches are sweet but young and lack knowledge. High turnover. Appalled by their lack of care. Wish it would have worked out but the only good thing was the location.

Our daughter was enrolled at Georgia All Stars for over four years. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. One of the biggest issues we encountered was the constant turnover of coaches. It felt like there was little consistency or long-term development, which made it difficult for the athletes to build trust and progress effectively.
Over the course of several years, we saw very little growth in our daughter's skills. Despite her dedication and consistent attendance, she was still performing many of the same skills in her final year that she was doing when she started. There seemed to be a lack of structured progression and accountability for individual athlete development.
While the gym may work for some families, our experience left us feeling that the coaching and training environment lacked the stability and challenge needed to help our daughter reach her potential.

Our experience with this gym was terrible. We enrolled in February 2024 and my daughter was originally in rec classes. She advanced to a team called “Gym Stars” and we were beyond excited. The coaches at the time (Coach Morgan & Mariah) were phenomenal and pushed my young athlete to challenge herself and perfect her form and gain more confidence to accomplish goals she set for herself.
Soon after joining Gym Stars, shortly before competition season, my daughters coaches were no longer there and things started going way down hill.
The coaches that rose to take their place, though sweet and tried, were young and lacked in experience coaching and interacting with parents. The shift in coaches began to show in my daughter’s performance, and effected her drive for gymnastics. She began to lose interest, and skills were at a stand still and she even regressed in some areas. My daughter loves to push herself to the limit and try until she masters a skill. though some times she needs that added push from her coaches to boost her confidence. I don’t doubt that the coaches were decent, however I do believe some guidance from an older coach would benefit not only them but the athletes.
The over all cleanliness of the gym repulsed me. It seems like the only time they prioritized cleaning is when they were hosting a competition. The bathrooms were simply unacceptable, the lobby and seating area was just gross.
I finally had enough and withdrew my child from the gym. I do hope they get staff who actually care about not only the athletes but the gym as well and pull this gym together as it does has potential.

We had a terrible overall experience at this gym. Our daughters first did rec classes here starting in late 2023. They enjoyed those, although even then we noticed a very high coaching turnover.
In early 2024 one of the coaches told us that our oldest daughter was skilled at gymnastics and asked if we would be interested in trying out for "team." We said yes. This is when things went downhill in a hurry.
Communication was terrible from the beginning. We had no prior experience in gymnastics and how the team structure works was never explained to us at all. It wasn't until our daughter was already on the team that we even understood that she was on the "Gym Stars" team and that this team differed from the other teams in terms of commitment and expectations.
We started the summer session which went ok. Then we switched to fall session and the practice times changed drastically and included late evening practice times and a Saturday practice. At no point was it mentioned that practice times would even change in the fall, nevermind that they would be at such inconvenient times.
As time went on, practices were frequently cancelled on short notice with explanations including "We realized all our coaches will be at other team meets that day." Since the cancellations were often on such short notice and communicated by email frequently parents went to drop their kids off at practice only to find that there was no practice. No compensation was ever offered for the multiple missed practices. Sometimes there were makeup practices, other times there weren't. We were also billed more for competition fees than originally quoted. When I sent an email asking for an explanation it was ignored.
In December several coaches quit, including our daughters coach. There was apparently a meeting to discuss this, but we missed it because we didn't see an email that was sent out a few hours earlier. My wife was literally IN THE GYM when the meeting was taking place, but no one thought to walk into the lobby and announce a meeting was happening to discuss the recent coaching departures. Again abysmal communication.
The remaining coaches were 18-19 year old kids who did fine jobs considering that this is just a part-time job for them while they're working through college. Unfortunately, way too much is put on the coaches in terms of logistics and communication. The owners either need to be more involved or hire someone who specializes in communicating with parents regarding everything going on at the gym. The staff they have work at the front desk rarely has a clue what's going on and I had to correct them multiple times on when practices were, etc.
So as the competition season concluded we are supposed to be receiving an update on where our daughter will be placed for the next season. We are still waiting. At this point we are assuming that our daughter will not be offered a spot on a team at Georgia All-Star, but once again, poor communication.
I could go on and on about further communication failures, but you get the idea. I gave the gym 2 stars to acknowledge that my daughter did receive coaching for 1 season which seemed adequate although we do feel her progress stalled after the more experienced coaches quit in December and the newer coaches had much more thrown at them than they were expecting.
Overall, I have never had such a horrible experience where I feel like my money was more wasted at a small business. I expect to be considered disposable when dealing with huge conglomerates, but I have never had that feeling at a small organization like this and I am shocked at how poorly run it is.

This gym is a disaster. The owners are unorganized and rude. Our daughter was in recreational classes and then competitive team with this gym for several years. Originally they were with amazing coaches who shielded us from the true colors of the owners until they couldn’t any more. When the good coaches left, last December, the owners couldn’t hide any longer and have made one mistake after another. The new coaches are inexperienced and unsupportive which led to our girls making little to no progress in the last 6 months. The coaches even bailed on us at State Competition the day of the event. The owners then emailed parents of team members claiming that the girls didn’t qualify for competitive teams next year when what was happening was they were doing away with AAU. Communication is extremely lacking, coaches are not hands on and engaging with the gymnasts. There is no team environment or camaraderie. They only want your money.

We had my son's 4th birthday party there using the "gold" package and it was an absolute hit! Cassie was very easy to work with to set up the party, she helped every step of the way the day of the party and to keep the kids entertained and safe. She was a great resource for questions leading up to the party as well. The kids had a blast and were worn out by the time we got home!

We decided to use this facility for a birthday party. Jason and his team were absolutely amazing to us and our group. His team took our 10 or so kids ranging from 18 months to 8 years old and out in their large facility for an hour. The kids seemed to really enjoy themselves, and then we ate the food and cake in the designated area! Overall it was a great experience and we really appreciate Jason and his team!

If you are looking for a facility that will nurture and uplift your budding young gymnasts, I would stay from away from this establishment. Their instructor (Cassie) doesn’t have the basic common knowledge on how to communicate with toddlers/young kids. The owner (Jason) has made it crystal clear that issues within his gym are not high on his priority list. He will soon find that customer relations are what keep a business afloat.
On Wednesday October 11th, my 3 (almost 4) year old had her first class, she was beyond excited. The week prior was a trial class to see if this sport would be something she was interested in. Once the class let out, she came out to get her shoes and her instructor came out to give her some feedback. This instructor stooped down to my daughter’s level and mimicked/mocked her stutter when she gets nervous or overly excited. A slight hiccup that has presented itself about 2 months ago. The look on my daughter’s face was a that of shame and embarrassment. I immediately turned my back on the instructor and left. My daughter now feels like her instructor made fun of her. Tried calling the facility three times that night, no answer. Called the next day and finally got through. Laura, who works in the administrative office, was the only person i had the chance to speak to. I’m sure meant well and unfortunately my wrath was unleashed on her but with that being said, nothing has been done to rectify this. Laura even mentioned “maybe Cassie (the instructor) was having a bad day.” Excuse me, but that should have no bearing on how well she performs her job. She also mentioned that these instructors don’t have children and don’t have experience like parents. I was floored by this statement. Why on earth has this gym hired inept instructors. I have been far more gracious than I needed to be. Jason has had two days to reach out about this incident and there has been zero contact. No offer of the $100 fee being refunded, no mention of any disciplinary actions or apologies. Though I have no desire to return to this gym, I hope Jason can learn from this experience so this doesn’t happen to another little girl.

I signed my 3 year old up for a class and she was excited and looking forward to it. Well, since it was her first time she became upset and started crying. They made me and my daughter feel like a problem because she was upset. I tried to stand by the door to help her and the management came over and was so rude to me. They forced me to move away from the door. We will not be returning and you do not need to send your children to this place. They lack kindness and empathy when it is needed most.

So my daughter who is 3 went to the trial class here and had a great time. She was then assigned a different day & time bc that class had a waiting list. We showed up for her first class and within just a few mins the instructor brings her out to me and asks if I can talk to her bc she won’t listen. Ok, I do that, as much as you can with a 3 year old, and she goes back in. A few moments later same instructor brings her out to me with her water bottle and says idk what you want me to do she won’t listen. I was so sad for my daughter bc she was so excited about her gym class. Oh and they have since charged me bc I didn’t fill out some form even after we made it very clear we won’t be back. Over $100 out of my bank account for what? I’m so extremely disappointed with this place. Don’t bring your babies here it’s not a place for little kids despite what they say they can provide.

The staff needs better training in customer service. My 3 yr old attends and the staff and coaches give off the vibe that they would rather not be there. Earlier this Spring, my first time taking my daughter, I tried to engage them with the simplest greeting and all three coaches/staff that were off in the corner ignored me, even when I talked loudly to my daughter asking “which way do we go?” At the end of the class, I asked the front desk lady for info about camps. Without looking up, she vaguely directed me to their website and no further info. (Spoiler alert: the info was not on the website & my wife had to call to gather more info)
Poor customer service for someone they didn’t recognize and was clearly looking for direction on where to take their child.
I asked my wife about it, who usually takes our daughter, and she quickly let me know that is their usual demeanor.
Today, we dropped of our daughter for her first summer camp there. The place was much more crowded than usual, so it made my daughter shy and nervous. My wife spotted the coaches and tried to engage them to greet my daughter to calm her nerves, but it fell on deaf ears. Even though my wife and daughter were within 10 feet of them, waiving them down, the best the coaches could muster was a quick glance, then looking away without acknowledging them. That’s pretty rude to do to a mom and 3 year old that regularly attend. I think the coaching is just fine, but the lack of customer service and aloof attitude are big let downs. Besides learning the basics of gymnastics, we’d like to go to a place that my daughter enjoys all around and feels welcomed. They don’t need to be Chick-fil-A or Ritz Carlton good, but eye contact, greeting kids/parents & being attentive go a long way. We’ve got plenty more examples, these are not isolated events. There is hardly ever a smile directed at the kids in my child’s class.
Edit: I can’t speak on behalf of the other coaches or classes. Also, most reviews here are well over a year old. While they are positive, I don’t know if things have changed over covid.

We have been going to GASG for almost 5 yrs, and have known Coach Becca for over 9yrs. We just LOVE the coaches, and classes offered. Both of my girls are always so excited for class, and my 3rd is about to start the Tiny Stars (mom&me) class. Even when we are not taking classes we enjoy Open Play. I really can't say enough good things about GASG.

We have been attending Georgia All Stars since around May of this year. My son (age 3) always loved his first class with a coach who is no longer with this gym. However when Summer session started - we enrolled him with little understanding that there would be a summer camp also going on. We asked to withdraw him as there were too many people in the gym. The staff was accommodating and even gave me a credit for the remainder of the month I wouldn't be returning. However. We enrolled him in a class with Coach Emma for the current season (Fall 2018) at first my son was the only student in the class. He seemed to get along with Emma fine. Slowly more students joined until finally this last tuesday 9/11 my mother took him to class and this is what she described happened ' everything seemed fine until 15 minutes before class was set to end Emma was pulling him by the arm at the door across the gym floor, I thought he was going to be sick or was about to wet himself - she then opened the door and was choking back tears and said 'he will not listen' and FLUNG him at me'. We were given no other explanation. Another boy was also ushered out less violently, but he was told he could come back. Not my son. When I heard of what happened I called the gym and asked to speak to the coach just looking for what happened. I received a call back by office staff letting me know the coach was sick, so sick that nobody could get the story out of her I guess. Wednesday I wrote to withdraw again asking for an explanation. Nothing. It has now been four days and I have not gotten the story of what happened and why this woman manhandled my son. What the procedures are for a child who is having a bad day. Nothing. I'm very disappointed and frustrated that I can't get any information out of anybody. We are no longer enrolled and will not be returning.

I was told my child had to be 3 and a half to participate and after 30 min my child was kicked out of the class. I never felt so ashamed. One coach was friendly about it but the other was very rude handed him off to me and said "no he's all over the place he has to go" I was mortified. I proceeded to tell him I was told he can take this class and he told me no you have to be 5 and rolled his eyes and walked off leaving my child in tears.when I arrived I told them how old my child was and noone said he was too young. It was a trial class they atleast could have let him finish. When we got in the car my child told me the teacher told him he was bad and started to cry. I've never felt so heartbroken and angry that he would be spoken to that way. As an educator I would never make my students feel that bad about themselves. Please train your coaches better and learn how to give correct information.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Its filthy, disorganized, and the staff is rude. We have been involved in gymnastics for 7 years and moved to the area. My daughter has been a member of GASG for 5 years now. She started as a brand new to the sport 4 year old, and is now 9 and will be going in to her 5th season competing with GASG.
Throughout our time here, she has learned so much about what it's like to face disappointment, experience success, be a part of a team, and how to work through hard days. Her coaches are tough, but kind. They always work to make her the best gymnast she can be, and care about her as a person, not just a gymnast.
She has learned so much here, not just about gymnastics, but life, and we look forward to many more years here!

I have 2 words to describe this place: CHAOTIC and AVARICIOUS.
CHAOTIC: Events are disorganized. They want parents to volunteer but no one give directions to parents of what to do.
AVARICIOUS: Definition of AVARICIOUS. : greedy of gain : excessively acquisitive especially in seeking to hoard riches. Wanting money, trying to get money, strongly desiring money. Sometimes it seems like money is the only thing they think about.
So there is this monthly tuition in the hundreds of dollars.
In addition to that, there is registration fee every year in other hundreds of dollars.
In addition to that, there is mandatory summer camp, also in hundreds of dollars. This summer camp is held during the month that we are still paying the monthly fee. So, it is called double charging.
And the, there is this mandatory parent volunteer during meet. If parents don't volunteer, they will be fined.
In addition to volunteering time, parents must also donate food for concession. The profit for the sale is kept by the gym.

So sad. This used to be an awesome place. My kids are on their second year of classes, but we won't be signing up for any more. Don't sign up for classes in the summer, as the summer camp kids are all over the place and interfering with classes. GA All Star is all about quantity over quality these days. It is constantly packed with multiple classes in the same area. The end of the year Extravaganza last year was disorganized to the point that my kids' names were't even called for their participation trophies. The waiting area reeks of BO and dirty diapers. The bathroom is run down with holes in the walls and with the number of people it services they can't keep it clean. I got overcharged this month for a phantom class my son was supposedly taking, after I just emailed them that he will not be back. I just got a call today that the teacher's second job will not allow him to show for my son's class tomorrow. GAS tried to reschedule the class at least, but when we could not "make up" the class they would not credit our account for the teacher missing his own class. Not happy. I won't be back, and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone seeking gymnastics classes.

My daughter has been with Georgia All-Star Gymnastics for over a year now. We moved from another gym when we decided to get more serious about her training. I will start by saying the facility and equipment is clean and in good shape. You can have confidence that your gymnast is working on equipment that is safe.
The coaches are the best. They care so much for the gymnasts. They care about their success, their physical health, as well as their emotional health. Gymnastics can be a very demanding sport - both physically and emotionally. The coaches and staff get that and they do all they can to take care of both aspects. I also love that they coaches understand that it isn't about them, it is all about the gymnast. I feel like you get the best training for your gymnast without all of the crazy "the only thing important in life is gymnastics" kind of demands.
Whether you are looking for recreational classes or a competitive team environment, you will be happy at GASG.
