Some coaches are nice and encouraging while my daughter had to go through horrible experiences. She loved gymnastics but had to quit because of her coach. Horrid place.

The advance notice/no refund policy here is atrocious. I tried to call and be cordial but asking for half a month notice is ridiculous. A young child isn’t always going to be able to sit down and say ”you know what mom and dad, I don’t want to do this anymore” within your parameters. We tried to cancel before the first class in May the week before but that wasn’t early enough. We tried to get her to go to the first class but she still doesn’t want to go.

I asked for four makeup classes in the future for when she is ready to return and was told only one out of four. These are not appropriate solutions.

It’s not like you’re ordering food that is going to waste. Your equipment and staff are there and the class isn’t exactly overflowing with students. If you can draft my credit card, you should be able to refund it.

We've been attending for about three years, but the staff isn't personable. The teachers never formally introduce themselves, which is why I appreciate that it's a class where parents can stay and watch. Honestly, I’m not even sure if the teachers know the students’ names.

The final straw was their "Fun Day." Every year, parents are required to pay a fee before finding out which day their child will perform. Once the fee is paid, a date is provided—if enough students sign up. If the assigned date doesn’t work for you, you only get half of your money back. That’s completely unacceptable! A set schedule with exact dates should be provided at the beginning of the year.

Aside from watching my child during class, there are no other opportunities for them to perform, which is disappointing. This year, I decided to voice my concerns. My first email was ignored, and when I called, I was simply told I would receive half of my fee back. At that point, it became clear that this is just a business, not one that prioritizes families or flexibility. In the end, I chose to withdraw.

Please note that they responded promptly to my withdrawal request without any questions, reinforcing my belief that their focus is solely on the business. (The email was sent at 3:53 p.m., and by 3:59 p.m., I received a response: "Received! Thank you.") No thank you, Lizbeth!

Owner does not return calls or emails to address any issues or concerns. We have been coming here for 7 years and due to recent issues we stopped coming after 7 years. Several messages and emails have been left for the owner with no response from management or the owner! You would think an owner would respond to issues and concerns to families that had been coming and supporting GGA Suwanee for 7 years but no, that has not happened. This is poor management and service! Very dissatisfied with GGA Suwanee.

This gym has two departments, a Rec side and a Team side. This review is for team side. This includes level 3456 bronze silver gold platinum. This gym has not always been bad. In the beginning, they had amazing staff. Knowledgeable and experienced coaches. Just a beautiful place to be a part of. About 9 months ago you saw a decline in the way they behave towards their clients, the way they behave towards their gymnasts, and the way they even behave towards their staff members. This was a very toxic place. But for some of us, our only option."Location". They stopped listening to our concerns, Our requests, our emails and our calls. 80% of the parents told the owner and the director that we would leave their academy if things didn't change . Maybe it's due to the point they were selling; they didn't care what the parents concerns were. Cause nothing was done . For my family with no other doable option we stayed for the season. My daughter was with this gym for a little over 3 years. Her main coach, coach Cassie missed the last two weeks leading up to the State competition . There was no real training those two weeks leading up to the most important competition for the season. That was it for me. While my daughter qualified for regionals, I decided that we would not go. I felt our girls were deprived the WHOLE season, from not having the correct hours of training, & the correct coaches at practice. I withdrew my daughter in May. My daughter was asked not to come to the end of the season party / award ceremony. I still said this was the Best decision we have made as a family . I would not advise anybody to seek this gym out if your daughter is looking for a Team . Their two best coaches are no longer there and that was by far the only thing that kept us there this season. Coach Irena and Coach Serge are amazing coaches and wherever they may end up I know they will produce greatness.

My daughter was on team here for 3 years and we had a great experience until very recently. I debated about leaving this review because I still care about people that work here but a recent decision made by the owner has left me very disappointed. They recently let go of 2 amazing coaches that were instrumental in the success of many gymnasts, coach Sergey and coach Irina. These coaches were dependable and picked up the slack from other coaches often times with no notice. These coaches brought GGA'S gold team to a number 2 spot in the state and produced 3 state team gymnasts. Many families tried to express their concerns over communication issues among other things and their concerns were not taken seriously. With the loss of these great coaches, there will no longer be an optional program forcing many gymnasts to find a new gym to train with. I'm very disappointed at the way this was handled and am heartbroken for all the families that tried so hard to make things work only to come to this end. I hope this termination does not tarnish the names of these coaches that so many gymnasts respect and I wish the best to all those that are forced to scramble to find a new gym family.

This gym was good to us in the beginning and as the years went on the management team has very bad communication, owner doesnt seem to care about complications or disputes about team management. Scheduling last minute parent meetings the same day, do not communicate when there's about to be a huge coach change. We're done here. If your planning to have your kid compete here be wary, otherwise tumble tikes or other basic classes they're great.

Both of my children have attended this gymnastics center and had a wonderful experience. We appreciate the friendly staff and the variety of classes. Great communication, too! If there is ever any issue, they are always willing to work with you. If I had another child, I would bring them here! A++

Edit: i have increased my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I was contacted the same day that I made the review and was able to get the issue resolved. While I appreciate the urgency after the review, I would have hoped for that same customer service before the review. I stand by that no one tried to contact me. I have double checked emails and do not have any voice messages…not to mention as stated we are in the building twice a week. Customer service is everything. I do appreciate that she is back in class. Thank you!

Original review: If I could give zero stars I would. The coaches are fabulous but the admin/office staff are horrible and could use a lesson in customer service. My daughter has been attending here for two years (maybe longer). We had her taking two classes here and she attended through the summer session. However, even though we were in the facility two days out of the week, they didn’t have the courtesy to come out and let us know that her fall registration had not gone through. So, after attending for two years and taking two classes a week, she was left off the roster for fall. Just a terrible way to treat your loyal customers. She is now on a wait list like we are new to the facility. It wouldn’t have taken them hardly any effort to just come out during one of her summer sessions and ask us if she would be staying on for the fall or better yet, pick up a phone and confirm. Terrible office practices… I’m now looking for another facility to take her to so she doesn’t sit out waiting on a spot at a facility she been going to since she was 4 years old. They definitely don’t care about long term loyal customers.

BEWARE!! Last week of the 2022-2023 year, they could not find a substitute coach for my teens tumbling class. 2023-2024 year begins with a new to us intermediate class and a new tumbling coach. The coach DOES NOT: 1. Run any type of warm up. 2. Check to see if there are any new/new to level students. 3. Know which stations to set up for the tumblers. 4. Check the form of new students when working on skills new to them.
When this was brought to the attention of the office staff, they promised a refund for the entire month of August, that last class of July that never happened, and the registration fee (since we are clearly NEVER coming back here). It took a second phone call to get the fully promised refund.

My kids are attending for the past 2 months and we love it here. The only thing is that they need to be very careful with people taking videos and pictures when there is sign for the safety or our students please do not take pictures or videos. People don't respect that. I also want to send pictures to my family but I respect that. They should be someone outside to check on that for short periods. I have to see this ever Saturday.

Very well placed and expansive gymnastics facility. I went here for a recital for my daughters' friends and am considering signing my daughters up after one visit. Parking is extensive but slightly inconvenient. If you are attending an event here, come early and leave early, because a lot of people visit here, and it might take you a while to leave. Other than that, 100%

Incredible place!! I brought my kid here last week and she learned a lot of gymnastics!! She has been training and has been very impatient to her next class! I loved her coach, her name is Helen. My kid called Sarah said that she helped her a lot that day. She has been practicing her bridges and cartwheels since, I recommend it for sure!!!

My daughter this past week practiced there as a training level 7 and I watched the practice. I love the attention to detail! They had so much knowledge! My wife and I were looking for a place that could advance her skill set and help her become a better gymnast. I love what I saw and I love the structured practice. Coach Cassie is awesome! This place is awesome for the children. My daughter started attending about a month ago and my wife and I are loving seeing how she is progressing. This place is worthy of 5 ⭐ really but if there was anything that is not so great about it is the sitting area for parents/guardians. It isn't horrible at all but the wall between the inner gym and lobby blocks the ability to see at times depending on where your kid is. If they ever do renovations, I hope they turn that wall into a sliding glass wall so there is no obstructed view. It would also be nice to be able to take pictures or videos of my daughter in there. These are her memories and it would be nice to be able to show friends and family who are not local. Plus it is kinda hard to advertise to friends and family when I can't show them what to expect. Those are the only real downsides I have found. The wooden bleachers are decent too, but can be a little congested at times. Neither are big issues, but take away from being able to just sit and watch your kid have a blast while learning to be a gymnast. This place really is great though!

My daughter had her birthday party here. The three staff workers were awesome. They were super nice and helpful. For the first hour they led games and activities for the kids to play. They also provided balloons and candles, and they served the pizza and cupcakes to the guests. They helped make my daughter's birthday this year a memorable one. Thank you

The entire staff is so sweet & they keep the facility clean, plus the prices are great. My daughter (3) loves coming in. She gets tips & feedback for practicing at home and did her first forward roll within 2 or 3 classes- and I loved that the coaches were just as excited about it as me!

I have brought all three of my children to GGA for the Tumble Tyke program and what they learn is invaluable. It’s great exercise for toddler coordination and they also learn how to wait their turn and listen to a teacher. My youngest has been to 4 classes in the 2 year old program and can now jump, balance, and hold himself up by the rings. He wasn’t doing any of this when he started. I would highly recommend GGA Suwanee for any toddler that needs help with coordination and needs a structured activity.

This gymnastics academy is very nice. I went here when I was a child. Now my son and my daughter both attend this gymnastics gymnasium. They have classes from beginning kids to advanced teens and everything in between. Definitely a good place to take gymnastics
