We have loved the Roswell Goldfish Swim School! We were at a different swim school before switching and we have been so happy with the experience we have had here. Our daughter (28 months) has learned many new skills and is able to swim 5 feet independently. They have been so great and patient with her when she goes through bouts of separation anxiety which means so much to us.

My son and I have had such a good experience at Goldfish in Roswell. Kandis is an amazing manager and has a heart for teaching all kids swimming and water safety. She has a good crew of instructors working there also and I have been impressed with the progress my son made in learning to swim with their curriculum. Absolutely recommend.

Very friendly staff, they customize the lessons for every child and accommodate their individual needs. Take feedback seriously and implement suggestions. The play area is nice for the young kids and the post swim treats (stickers or suckers) are always a fun way to end the session. Overall highly recommend Goldfish swim school :)

The Goldfish Swim School in Roswell is absolutely fantastic! Initially, my child was quite hesitant to get into the water, but the instructors were incredibly supportive and encouraging during each class. A five star review somehow falls short of reflecting my superb experience thus far at Roswell Village Goldfish swim school. While the school is phenomenal with a great swim and admin staff, the greatest asset is its manager, Kandis. Beyond the apparent superior training and leadership that she ensures her staff receives, she genuinely loves what she does and loves her students and it shows in her every interaction with parents and students. She has taken care with, and given much attention to, my daughter who has different sensory needs and has become very much invested in her success. I recommend Kandis and the school to everyone whenever I can, and for good reason!

My son had his 4th birthday party with almost 20 kids and to say they had a blast is a understatement! Staff was attentive and created many solutions to keep the kids engaged. My kids (7 and 4.5) have been taking swim lessons at Goldfish for over a year now, and we love it! My daughter was afraid to get water in her eyes when she first started, and now she can swim across the pool by herself. The instructors are great! They are very patient and really know how to make the lessons fun and engage the kids. We love Elizabeth and Melissa at the front desk! They are very helpful and super sweet with the kids. Candace and Chazz (manager and assistant manager) are also wonderful! I highly recommend Goldfish Swim School!

My son is 2.5yrs old. We started out doing the class where I joined him in the water.
He loved it. After 2 classes, he moved up to the class where he swam without me. The instructors there told me to expect tears the first 4 classes. 1st class without me he did great... i got lucky. 2nd and 3rd class he cried and the manager, Kandis, swam with him the entire time and he quickly became more comfortable. She was amazing with him. Every class he is becoming more confident and you can tell he enjoys seeing her. She, and the other instructors are amazing with kids! The facility is very clean and i really enjoy the fact that it isn't super crowded and the instructor to child ratio is great. And like I said, my son needed extra attention and they were so quick and willing to give it to him!

We started our daughter shortly after her 3rd birthday and after 6 months (only once a week) she was a able, confident swimmer! Update: We also stated when we signed her up that we only wanted to do a month of classes. We did our month (4 classes) and haven’t been back since. We’ve just been charged for another month even though we haven’t been back and haven’t scheduled anything else with them. I guess they automatically signed us up for something we did not want, but this class that we only wanted one month of is becoming a pain with an annual membership being charged, and now recurring monthly fees for a class we aren’t attending. The website makes it sound like it’s easy to just drop in and do classes a la carte, but that has not been the case for us at all.

The instructors were nice and seemed like they knew what they were doing. My low rating is due to the sneaky pricing. When we signed our daughter up for a month of lessons we were told that the first lesson would be free and the rest of the month would be prorated. The charge we saw on our bank account didn’t make sense so we called and asked about it. They told us that when you sign up for lessons you are automatically charged a $25 membership fee. There was NO mention of this at any point and the website only shows the monthly rate. When they tell you the first lesson is free it’s a complete scam because they then turn around and charge you a secret membership fee. The deceptive pricing rubbed us the wrong way so we won’t be returning.

The staff and facilities were great. My low rating is based on what we got for the cost. My son moved up one level in 8 months. That is $800. The class is 30 minutes with 3 students to 1 instructor. Most swim schools have the same class structure. However, after seeing so little progress we started timing our son’s time in the water and he averaged between 6-7 minutes/week in the pool! Other swim schools have all the students in the water and completing their instruction simultaneously. That allows for a full 30 minutes of instruction rather than 7 minutes! So for $99/month he spent 30 minutes in the water. The reason for the lack of progression was disappointing and we decided we would start him elsewhere.

We switched from Sandy springs to the Roswell location when we moved and it was such a disappointment. Not only were they not accommodating for time slots until right before we quit but each person we talked to told us something different.
Our instructors were not enthusiastic and just seemed annoyed. I was not ok paying for our son to sit for 20 out of the 40 mins. Also our son graduated from the same level 3 times this summer when he had transferred in at a higher level.

Just last year, our son was fairly terrified of going underwater. After just a few lessons with the fantastic staff at Roswell Goldfish, he is now swimming with his head in the water and asking when we can go back. We love the facility and the staff even more!
