I was fairly happy with the facility until recently.

I'm not happy with the way the temporary closure has been handled.

I opted to not drive to the different location due to crowding concerns and preference of location, yet for the first full month I was offered only half of the price I pay for a monthly membership. Additionally, I was told the gym closure would not last through August (which is why I didn't suspend my membership), and it has so far. I shouldn't have to drive to a different location than I signed up, and I think from a financial perspective the compensation for the current situation has been subpar.

So far, I’ve loved visiting this gym, however, parking This close to someone is unacceptable. What if someone needs to get in their trunk? What if someone has kids? Golds Gym, make an announcement about respectful parking. This is day two of my visit here, and both days my parking experience has been terrible. Thank you!

Definitely a big gym.. Free weight area pretty spacious. They do need more cleaning stuff around in my opinion to promote wiping equipment down and should add more stair masters... Staff is friendly. Gym is more of an older gym concept.. I like the red concept. Cardio area could use bigger TVs for cardio tv watching... The aerobic room is really big and padded floor ( good place to maybe run and other stuff) definitely will check this gym out again.

Plenty of equipment and usually enough space available. Wish there were more spray bottles and rags throughout the gym to clean off equipment. Having to walk all the way to a paper towel dispenser seems to be a deterrent for most.

Best Gym in the Stockbridge/Eagle landing community. I have been going to this gym for two year. If you like friendly staffs, clean, motivating environment this is the gym for you.

This gym has the best free weights and equipments. There is a huge open room for for cardio exercise. The drinks are affordable. The smoothie bar is really good and the gym open 24/7.

I love my gym. When ppl ask me what gym I go to and I say Gold's Gym, their initial response is "They still have those?" Yes, and I love them. The 1 in Stockbridge has a sauna, lovely. And the 1 in McDonough has a swimming pool and offer adult swimming lessons, even better.

Cleanliness is still a problem. They can't get control of the ants in both women and men locker rooms. The lockers and door handles are still an issue. The gym is close to the highway and convenient for me. However the extra 10 mins to McDonough is worth my sanity. With Coronavirus the facility should be more cautious and concerned with sterilizing the facility. I am very disappointed that daily I have brought this to their attention and nothing happens.

When Covid-19 started I attempted to contact the gym through email, cancelling my membership. I was never contacted. This was in March. I have not been back to the gym because I do not feel safe in that environment due to the virus. I was just contacted last week, saying I was going to be sent to collections for all of the months I have NOT BEEN USING MY MEMBERSHIP. When I challenged what the lady said, she acted as if it was my fault that all of this had happened. No one has contacted me at all until now. I called the gym asking to speak with manager; I was never contacted back. I have now had to send a certified letter and I am probably going to have to pay these people for a membership I couldn't use due to a pandemic. This people are so unprofessional. I will never go to a Gold's Gym again, especially this location.

I have gone to pretty much every big gym all around the Atlanta metro area. This one is my favorite. Plenty of space, clean, everything you need if you are serious about lifting. Not too many people and if you are a female, you can workout in peace. The staff is very friendly as well as the management. The only negative is that they need to open one up near Alpharetta! :)

The equipment looked worn, outdated and dirty.... like unsanitary. It was a major turn-off😕‼️

It was large but I wasn’t motivated to workout 🏋🏽‍♂️ at this facility.

The customer service was good, but she could not give me a grand tour because she was the only one on staff.

I was very disappointed 😔 because this Gold’s Gym is closer to where I live. It is right across from Eagles 🦅 Landing and I thought it would be more upscaled and modernized.

They did have a lot of variety of equipment and it was a large facility.

But only 2 Kettlebells and you are charging double monthly than gyms who have more modern equipment and a full stack of Kettlebells ‼️

They do have another McDonough Gold Gym I will checkout because I am trying to find a new gym home.

But this one is not the place for me.

Moreover, the monthly fee is too high and is not justified for what you are getting and NOT GETTING.

On my first visit I was glad to see many experienced fitness buffs. Pam did an analysis of my physical condition and she is very professional, didn't laugh or at least didn't let me see her laugh. I'm excited to start regaining my youthful

My second home! Great staff here and they keep the gym and the locker rooms clean! Equipment a bit outdated but who cares, it works! Great gym. It's an older place, but clean. Plenty of equipment even during peak times you rarely have to wait for machine/bench/weights. Fun classes with friendly instructors. People keep to themselves and do their own thing, no one rly bugs, hits on ppl, or sits around taking selfies (all a problem at other gyms I've been too). It's also relativity quiet, ppl are respectful of others, no dropping weights, yelling, grunting, Hulking out kinda thing. Most ppl clean their cardio equip, some don't. I haven't had any interaction with the desk staff, but they say hello when you walk in. The ladies in the child care room are great, my kiddo loves going there.
