We have an excellent experience the past few years with GTC Golf Academy. My son started taking private lessons with Matthew about 2 years ago and it is amazing to see how far he has come. Matthew is such a great coach. Not only does he know the game, but he knows how to get into the minds of his younger students and teach them the game on their level. He keeps lessons fun. He encourages each student yet knows when they need more firm instruction as well. He has definitely pushed and inspired my son to improve his game. Excellent program. Coach is very involved and relates to each player according to their skill level and experience. While impressing the rules and etiquettes of golf on the kids Coach Matthew still makes the kids have fun and enjoy the game. My 10yo son has started taking lessons from Coach Matthew, after spending a week with him at golf camp. We could not be happier with his instruction and his ability to work with our son. He was able to see what our son was already proficient with and what he needed to work on and he jumped right into it. Coach Matthew is helping him perfect what he was already succeeding with and helping him build his game where it needed attention. I have enjoyed 2 lessons in a group of 5 with Matthew. He is very knowledgeable and always answers my questions. I am a Single digit golfer and needed a set of eyes and video to help me learn and get through a tough time with my swing. Matthew Cooke is a great Golf Instructor and very professional. My son plays High School and Tournament Golf and has been taking lessons from Matthew for a few years. Matthew provides sound instruction and communicates on a level that my son understands. During my son's lessons, Matthew is 100% focused on the lesson and not looking through his cell phone like previous instructors we have dealt with. He also knows how to incorporate technology into the lesson but is not reliant on it to teach. Even though golf is a mellow sport he knows how to push and motivate my son to get the best out of him. My daughter recently had her first lesson with Arick. She had a great experience. She's worked with several pros before Arick with mixed results. Arick recorded her swing, asked her what her goals were, then developed a lesson plan to achieve those goals. I’ve had 2 lessons with Arick. He has been so helpful. I’ve been playing for 1 year and he has shown me how to correct my swing and has shown me why I kept slicing all my shots. The thing I am really grateful for is he teaches you how to fix your own game so that you can work on it on your own. So I took lessons with Matthew about a year and a half ago. I was hovering around 99-105 in my rounds and had no consistency with my ball flight. I did two workshops and one the five week program. I learned a lot of skills that totally jacked up my golf game for the rest of that year. I had so many swing thoughts going through my head hat I never felt comfortable. I kept working on the drills that I learned through him and those thoughts slowly became my swing. This year I am hovering around the low 90s and my last two rounds were 87 and 83. I highly recommend Matthew and his program. The skills I have learned have given me a consistent golf swing that produces consistent ball flight. But hey if you want to keep getting the same results you’ve been getting keep doing what you’ve been doing.

Really enjoyed the time these coaches spent with my kids. They were great. One of my kids (she's 5) was acting out, and they were very appropriate in the way they handled the situation.

I was a little apprehensive to go and take my first golf lesson in 10 years. I can say that upon meeting Arick of AJ Golf, he quickly quieted my nerves and explained their method and process. The time spent with him was very informative and enjoyable. In this first lesson, we put together a program where he will use my current state of golf set up and swing and transform it to where we want it to be. It is great knowing that Arick and I together put together a plan and agreed upon the next steps. I look forward in working with him over the course of the next 6 months. What can I say but wow! These guys really care about their students and have a unique and effective way to teach golf. My son has taken lessons with Matthew and the AJ Golf Academy team for just under a year. His confidence is flourishing and he's improving at a rapid rate. These teachers demand a lot out of the student as well. At a recent tournament, I texted Matthew and said "hey, he keeps pushing his shots right, any help or advice based on his tendencies?" Mathew told me to ask him what was wrong. After the 1st round of the tournament, I recorded his swing and immediately he knew what he needed to do. 2nd day of tournament my son shaved 13 strokes off his Day 1 score. AJ Golf Academy teaches the kids to teach themselves and self evaluate. It doesn't get any better than that!
