My son loves going to his Ninja classes and Mr. Stefan is a great instructor. He is patient and really works with the boys to help them learn. The staff is also very professional at the front desk.

The little ninja class has been really great! The owner is fantastic with children, and our child really looks forward to going every week! It’s a great mix of physical activities, discipline, and focus, all of which we have seen great strides with our son.

As one of the girls that dance at this gym, My dance coach Michael is the best. he's my favorite coach, which might be a bit bias considering he's the only dance coach there. but He's very kind and patient, he pushes me to do my best. The dance shows are always my favorite part of dancing. when everything is said and done, I get to enjoy My hard work by dancing my heart out on stage.

My son (3 years old) has done the little Ninja class for 2 months now and we are more than impressed. It has taught him so much and continued to work on his listening skills and patience. Coach Stefan is so wonderful with the kids all while requiring the kids attention, respect , and focus - no easy task for kids 3-4 years old! Coach Stefan somehow manages to do it and make it look easy. Our son looks forward to it every week!

We’ve been going for a few months now and my kid loves the into class. The smile on her face as she accomplishes something is so rewarding. She’s had a few different coaches and each one has been wonderful. We look forward to her graduating to the next level soon.

We absoultely love GymSouth. Our son looks forward to Summer Camp because it isn't a daycare type setting. It's a place where children get to play and socialize in a fun and yet safe setting.... Organized chaos where a child can be a child with coaches that over see group activities. Our child thrives at this gym he is allowed to be a child that can run, jump, play, climb and take part in dance battles with friends. Ms.Cherone truly loves all the kids and makes their safety a priotity. I am so thankful for the experience GymSouth offers to our son!

My kiddo had an amazing time here at the summer camp and at the birthday party event we had here. You can bring in your own balloons, table decor and food. They provide tables, chairs and two activities to pick from based on age. My kiddo is older so we opted for the obatacle course and let me tell you a time was had! I received many messages from parents stating how much fun their children had and how long they slept that evening. Gym South also provided goodie bags for each child in attendance which was a nice touch. The pricing overall is much more affordable than other children's party venues and makes for a more enjoyable experience for the kids. 10/10 would have a party their again. Excited to continue supporting Gym South and my child's interests by signing up for gymnastics lessons again as well.

My family has had the most pleasurable experiences at Gym South. My sons have done the ninja classes and my daughter is on the Level 2 competition team. The staff members always pleasant and professional. My daughter’s coaches are absolutely amazing. While no place is perfect, I am confident in Gym South’s programs as fun and safe opportunities for my children to exercise, learn new skills and build healthy relationships with other children.

Disappointed in my experience. They really need to examine this policy around punishing the child if they’re late for a 2 hour class. Through no fault of her own my daughter was 15 minutes late for a class that we paid for. It's also frustrating that the next make up she can attend is a month away. I hope this can be addressed by ownership.

I will add, outside of this experience my daughters have had a good experience here. I was able to speak with the owner and share my concerns and I appreciate his pro-active follow up and I hope that this leads to a shift in policy at some point.

TODDLER INJURY NOT ADDRESSED!! Completely unprofessional response to a toddler injury!! I picked up my daughter from her day of gymnastics camp at Gym South. When we got in the car she told me her eye hurt today because she was kicked in the face. When we got home I realized her eye had what appeared to be a broken blood vessel (her pediatrician has confirmed this). I asked my daughter if she notified the teacher immediately when it happened and she told me there was no teacher around to tell. She then proceeded to tell me she was holding her eye for most of the day and then notified a teacher later in the day when it was burning. She was told that “it will be okay”. I emailed the camp director Cherone of this incident immediately on Monday as I was not going to send my daughter back unless the issue was addressed with the came counselors to ensure this doesn’t happen again. By Wednesday I hadn’t heard anything back so I called the gym to speak with her. When I spoke with her she explained that she did read my email (but she hadn’t responded) and that she did not know who the coach was to be able to find out the answer. I then inquired is there not a specific coach assigned to the toddlers during camp and she proceeded to tell me they switch out. I then inquired can she not ask both coaches as from her explanation there should have only be two people to question about this. She then gave an excuse that she doesn’t know who to question but she’ll ask. Meaning, she read my email but still had not looked into the situation. In my email I included a picture of my daughter’s injury and she claims her computer is too old to receive pictures. I work in tech, your computer has to be a dinosaur for you not to be able to see pictures via the web so that’s an unacceptable response. I then proceed to tell her that I would like an answer same day otherwise I don’t feel comfortable sending my child back the following day (take into consideration I’ve paid $150 for two days of camp this week and my daughter has only attended one day). She told me she could not promise a response back today as she’s leaving early. She called back and told me she spoke with two counselors who both denied knowing about the incident but there was one more counselors that was off that day that she tried calling but had not heard back from. She told me she would call me back once she heard back. It’s been over a week, almost two weeks at this point and I have not heard back from anyone at the camp. I’ve called to speak with her and was told she wasn’t there at the time but that a message would be given to her to call me back. At this point, I’m willing to count my $75 as a loss because if a 4 year olds injury can be disregarded in this way to them, they shouldn’t be trusted with young children. I’m extremely saddened because my daughter was so excited to start gymnastics, we were planning to enroll her in the afternoon classes as well and this was a trial run. Now I don’t feel comfortable that she’ll be well taken care of at this gym after how this incident was handled. Please be aware if you have toddler age kids that go here!!! Watch them!!!

Very unprofessional. Was told that my daughter could make up her missed day the following week. Once this week came I was told the class was full and to come back Wednesday at 5. I'm here at 5 with my 4 yr old and they said they class was at 4. This place is trash

My experience was similar to Mrs. Kasidi. But my daughter was 8yo. The oldest in her class, and a transfer due to relocation. She was enrolled for about 4 months with no progression. I sat in on a few classes and I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I was mortified. There was a disconnect between the teenage instructors & the students. I watched as forms and placement werent being corrected time & time again I reached out to the owner who acted as if he never heard of this before &maybe because of the holidays 🤔 and to bring her back to be reevaluated. I refuse to have someone play in my face & take my money. I do not have time for the games. Will not recommend or return.

Classes are great and my daughter loves it but the customer service lacks. Tried to cancel a class because my daughter could no longer attend and no one answers the phone or emails you back. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Also, they have classes at the craziest times as if parents don’t work.

Both of my daughters have attended this gym. My youngest has just begun the twinkle class (preschool age) She is shy and still adjusting but I’m sure she will open up soon, She can’t wait to attend each week and it’s all she talks about :) We initially had an awkward start but the owner Coach Stephen is very caring and his love for this gym and the kids who attend shines through. I know from personal experience that parent concerns do not go unheard and that is appreciated. I look forward to watching my children blossom here.

My daughter has been enrolled in the Twinkle class for 2 weeks and I have yet to see the instructors smile. I have to admit my first impression of this place is not good at all. The "trainers" are so disinterested in the children they are working with. They spend the whole time yawning, fanning themselves and checking their watches and phones than they do enthusiastically engaging with the toddlers. This age group requires high energy, enthusiastic instructors and they are not it. Owner/management please address these issues as these people are the face of your business.

UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL POST: the owner reached out to me and his passion for gymnastics was evident. I'm happy to say my daughter is still going to this establishment for gymnastics and she LOVES it! The people I had an earlier issue with moved on and I'm pleased with the new coaches. Especially coach Taylor (I'm not 100% sure that's her correct name) because she really likes working with the children. She does silly things like walk like a penguin when it's time to transition to something else, or clicking on your listening ears when she's about to give instructions. And the kids find so funny! I would definitely recommend this gym if you are looking for lessons (and fun) for your little ones!

this place is not kid friendly at all! my 3 yr old was enrolled into the “Twinkle” class because i believed it would be a good place for her to socialize since she doesn’t go to day care and isn’t around other kids much but i was wrong.. as expected since this was her first class she cried… when she cried the instructors never once came and showed any effort to comfort her or make her feel welcomed. the instructor never once introduced himself to me or any of the parents.. when my child missed a couple of classes we never got a call from anyone to bring up any issues we may have or to see why she wasn’t showing up.. the only time someone from there ever came up to me or grabbed my attention was when my registration fee supposedly never went through.. i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

My daughter has been enrolled for a little over a month in the shinning class. She's 4. The coaches are not necessarily kid friendly. They do not help them with correct form, they are always stretching wrong and the coaches just turn a blind eye and keep it moving. They use "stations" as a practice technique. & often my child is left doing the wrong thing over & over & over at the station. The coaches are very inattentive, lazy, and talk to the girls like they are older than 4 & 5. They treat them like they should catch on after being told 1x.
The amount of patience and excitement the coaches express is very dissatisfying to watch. I recored her whole practice today, if you want to see it, contact me.
Its nothing more than confused, unorganized, and low patience/unhappy coaches, & little toddlers just being toddlers.
My daughter could have gone to the park instead of this gym that I paid up. Literally.

The Coaches and staff at this facility was very welcoming and opened to listen to needs and time frame of my athlete. We did a trial run and she fell in love with this gym and staff. She learned skills that she needed to learn and built a new level of confidence and made lots of new friends. I can say that this group of coaches are very professional and cares a lot about not only the perfection of the sport of gymnastics but the safety of the kids that comes through the doors at Gym South Gymnastics!

I signed my daughter up for Gymnastics this summer and she loved it so much we decided to keep her in during the school year. The classes are small enough were that each kid gets attention. There is plenty of staff around, they spray the kids hands and feet before each practice. As a parent I am thoroughly pleased and I highly recommend Gym South to any parent thinking about enrolling their child.

I called Gym South over summer break to inquire about the tumbling evaluation for my daughter. The first person I spoke to was super sweet, friendly, patient and went above and beyond to answer my questions. I had to call back to reschedule and another person answered the phone, a younger lady. She sounded annoyed and very dry on the phone. I figured she was having a bad day and didn't think much of it. Fast forward to me bringing my daughter in for the tumbling eval. last week and this same young lady was at the counter. She looked like I was doing her a great inconvenience by coming into that establishment and daring to need assistance. I understand that everyone does not have a bubbly personality, but being pleasant should be the least you can do when someone chooses to patronize your business. Her attitude did not deter me from signing my daughter up for classes, but I strongly suggest speaking to her and letting her know that a little kindness goes a long way.

Took my daughter for a preschool evaluation and it was very meh. The class she’s being evaluated for is for age 3-5, which a huge range of maturity, coordination, physical ability etc. Shes 3.5 and needed quite a lot of redirection and explanation, but that’s part of why I wanted her in the class to begin with. The teacher gave out stamps and stickers to all the other little girls at the end but didn’t give one to my daughter which made her cry. Right off the bat, a consequence for not listening on her very first day. I will say the teacher was very nice and patient, the policies didn’t seem very nice at all.

Anyway, they placed her in the lowest level but warned she might be kicked down to the mommy and me class where she is allowed to “do whatever she wants” which is NOT the point and not something I’m interested in. The teacher warned us that other teachers might not be as nice as her and the thought of paying $75 a month for a potentially not patient and not nice teacher to make my three year old cry is, well, not great.

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!! THE OWNER ONLY CARES ABOUT THE MONEY! My daughter attended gymnastics here for 3 months. I was impressed so i decided to enroll my son as well. We paid in advanced for August but had an unexpected death in the family. I requested a refund and was told it would take 30 days. I had to ask about my refund 45 days later because they forgot about my request form. Then, the owner only wanted to give me 2 weeks worth of a refund because someone marked my son present for two weeks even though he never attended for that month. Once I explained that the unexpected death was why we could not make it that month, he said bye could only refund me for 3 weeks and that's it. I knew then, that the owner was only in this business for the money. Other parents tried to warn me and i should've listen. This is extremely sad especially since the coaches are good. I will be finding a new facility for my children.
