booked a class on class pass and was told i needed to leave as i was a first timer and did not come 10 minutes early. mind you I am not new to reformer pilates, so why would i come early to a class that’s like every other class in this city. When i booked the class it said nothing of the sort it just had the reviews and stated that it was high intensity etc, now im not sure if that was an issue on their end or with class bass but regardless She stated it was for “safety” all the while there was a white woman doing reformer pilates with NO grip socks on, which is also dangerous but i guess rules can be bent for them. I was told i could not participate , I could not get my credits back nor was any comprise made, I also was going to have to pay a missed reservation fee even though I came on time just not 10 minutes early. genuinely what is 10 minutes going to do for beginners? how does 10 minutes make anything more safe when it’s someone’s first time? Ridiculous. Of course I was the only black girl in the class so it a horrible first look for this business and I will never be back nor support this. I went through class pass to get my credits back because you THOUGHT you were going to take my money and not give me a service or at least an opportunity to take another class another day?! Absolutely not. this company is not customer oriented or professional in the slightest. HORRIBLE.

I took my first pilates class ever in May 2023, at Hipfit. I am hooked and now go 3 times per week.

I have had chronic back pain for years and it is gone. I have lost an inch on my thighs, stand up straighter, and feel stronger overall, but especially in my upper body. I always thought if I wasn't pouring sweat I wasn't really working out, but coming to Hipfit has completely shifted that opinion. The workouts are intense and do not get easier. In fact after you perfect the movements it gets more intense, thus I am always pushing myself. I have always exercised regularly (cardio) but love the strength component of Hipfit.

I am so grateful for Randi, Caroline, Maddie, Ashley, Kendell, and Meredith, and to be part of the Hipfit community. Thank you!!!

I played D1 tennis and have done all types of lifting, weight training, conditioning, etc. and no workout has toned my muscles and stabilized my core like HipFit has. I remember confidently walking into my first class thinking this new workout would be a piece of cake… I was quickly humbled. I had never done a reformer workout and Ashley was so kind and patient. All of the instructors are friendly, helpful and make a point to give shout outs during class. I love their encouragement! This is a challenging workout, but great for all levels. 5 months in with HipFit and I’m not looking back!

Fitness and movement is very important to me, so when I began to experience frequent lower back pain and other injuries from my usual high-impact workouts, I knew I had to do something different. I decided to try Pilates, and at HIPfit, I found a low-impact yet intense workout that is always challenging, different and fun! It's now been a year since I joined HIPfit and I feel so much stronger in ways that I haven't felt before with other workouts--and I am working just as hard as all those times I was jumping around and lifting weights, but without the injuries or pain. I enjoy being part of this welcoming and supportive HIPfit community, and I am so glad that I listened to my body and tried something new!

The sedentary WFH life of the pandemic came with a lot of back and hip pain for me and injuries that would put me out of commission for my normal exercise routine for weeks at a time. Randi and the team at HIPfit have helped me build core strength over the last several months that has made those periodic pain episodes completely disappear. I’m now a full-blown follower and proselytize HipFit Pilates to everyone I know. These instructors will challenge you, but they will also meet you where you are and help make this hard-as-hell workout accessible to anyone. Go do it. And spend your money with a great Atlanta small business—don’t give it to the corporate overlords over at ClassPass.

I have tried a few different Megaformer Pilates studios in Atlanta, but this is by far my favorite one! I love the challenge that comes with each class. **Update ** The owner has since called and issued a refund. As a business owner myself, I understand staffing issue and due to the quick action taken by ownership, I will consider taking a new class with a new staff member.

While I’m sure the whole studio is wonderful, I felt incredibly unwelcome and uncomfortable in the studio. I arrived for my first classpass experience, but am new to the area and arrived 2 minutes late.

After directing myself from upstairs to follow the signs and find the class, I finally found the class downstairs - coached by Hannah Schmidt. Hannah was incredibly rude - making me feel like I, and people who look like me, weren’t welcomed or wanted. I proceeded to tell her that this was my first class at The Training Room but I regularly do Pilates so I didn’t need a full orientation. She continued to roll her eyes and make comments that would make anyone feel unwelcomed. I was so uncomfortable that I ended up leaving and not taking the class.

I had never done pilates prior to trying HipFit in March of this year - the classes have transformed by core strength and flexibility. It is a great high intensity low impact workout. The classes & moves can be modified for any skill level. The new app makes reserving class times easy and convenient. The studio is clean and well maintained. Randi (owner and instructor) is knowledgable and passionate about pilates and her classes. There are several other instructors that provide a great workout and class atmosphere. The 45 minute classes truly do fly by. The are multiple options for membership (and a good deal for new clients).

I cannot say enough good things about Hipfit. I started at this studio in February and have been going ever since. I chose it because I live on the beltline and I can walk there but I would go here even if I did not live close. All the instructors are great but Randi is the absolute best. Her classes are tough but she will push you to be the best physically fit possible when taking her classes. I am so glad i found Hipfit, it is an Atlanta gem!

Nothing makes me feel better, inside and out, than a class at HipFit! The owner Randi's catch phrase is "we're doing hard things together" not only does she mean it, but it really is the motivation I need to keep going. I had never used a reformer before my first class, and expected to be really intimidated, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about, even surrounded by long-term regulars, Randi went out of her way to make me feel right at home and showed me the ropes.

The works out is hard but always achievable - right when it feels like you can't do one more rep, Randi gives a count down and keeps on going to the next exercise - making this the fastest 50 min workout I've ever done. There's no time to get bored or look at the clock and before I know its the class is done. At the end, I'm always equal parts relieved and proud and already booking my next class from the parking lot.

I love everything about HipFit and strongly recommend it.

I tried my first class this weekend and it was such a great experience! The studio is on the lower level of the Training Room. They have a beginner class on Sundays. This was my first time trying Pilates and what a workout it was! I have sore muscles in places I didn’t even know I had muscles! I really enjoyed the movements and the pace of the class.

Dana was an amazing instructor! She is kind, patient, demos movements and is constantly moving around to keep an eye on everyone, correct form and encourage them. I really appreciated this being a total newbie! At the beginning of class she gave a quick overview of the reformer so you knew how to make adjustments and how to properly utilize cables. She also would give modifications for certain exercises incase someone needed them.

Like most things in Atlanta parking can be a bit tricky … but they send a welcome email to give you a heads up. Just show up a little early to ensure you find a spot and are on time to class. There is a paid lot or the neighborhood around there has some street parking, you might just have to walk a couple blocks.

This place is more of a HIIT pilates workout. They made us stand on the reformer for squats in the introductory class.They don't give you overview on how to use the reformer like club pilates does. So if you already know pilates and need like an advance fast pace class, this is the place. But for a beginner like me, it was a no.

Im a big fan of reformer Pilates so always excited when a new studio pops up. HipFit is my new go to. If you like Stellar Bodies or SolidCore you’ll love HipFit! Randi is an incredible instructor. Not only kind and personable, greets you by name, gives form corrections during class. But her moves are in a league of their own. Her classes are always challenging yet the time flies by. It's all in the name folks - HipFIT! Would underline and bold FIT if I could!! These class are low intensity but high impact and it’s a workout! If you are looking to get stronger, leaner, improve your range of motion and find those abs that have been hiding out - then look no further, Randi will get you there! Randi is the motivational coach when you need the extra push and the support system to get through those hard reps! As she says "we’re doing hard things together" and she means it! The class is an individual workout but in a team environment. Would highly recommend just diving in with a monthly membership – you won’t regret it!

What can I say... This is the BEST Pilates class in Atlanta! Randi cares about each student and give personalized corrections. She encourages students to make modifications based on their level. The studio is clean and beautiful. As a dancer, Randi’s class definitely helped me to have a better alignment, increase my strength, and prevent injuries. I didn’t have much Pilates experience before but her class really got me into Pilates! I highly recommend this class to individuals of all levels of Pilates practice.
