This gym is recently under new management and has really been making an effort to resolve/ upgrade previous issues. Price is actually very fair with red light therapy, infrared sauna, as well as 24hr access which is hard to find anything like that all included in membership. Definitely some things to take advantage of that other gyms do not have. In a short time I can see the new manager Spencer is putting in a lot of effort into this facility and I believe it will be an even better place here soon.

My wife and I have been members of HiTone Fitness in Fayetteville, GA for almost 3 years. The facility, equipment, management, and staff is top-notch compared to other gyms that we belonged to in the past. In particular, Ms. Lisa always greets us with a smile, answers our questions about the gym, and works hard to keep the gym clean and sanitary. During the Christmas holidays, we bring several of our out-of-town family members with us to enjoy working out at HiTone. The gym’s management is absolutely dreadful, and their payment processing system is even worse. They’ll persist in calling you and trying to bill you long after you’ve canceled, assuming you can even manage to overcome the numerous barriers they put in place to make cancellation possible at all.

If it weren’t for Peak Payment Solutions reaching out to me to update my credit card information, I would’ve been donating to this gym forever! Thank you for harassing me and encouraging me to finally cancel. No WiFi OR cellular connection, a “sauna”, increased prices, and a crowded gym during the only times 9-5ers could go? I’m building my own in my house now. Thanks for the encouragement. I cancelled my membership in JULY and found out that I was still being charged EVERY SINGLE MONTH (it is NOVEMBER) after making the lady on the phone verify that my membership was cancelled! How incompetent can these people be?! Don’t sign your life away. All of the prices that I were charged were DIFFERENT. How is a membership $49, $52, and then $62????? This is a red flag. Update: After canceling me and my sons memberships and my wife canceling hers, instead of the $49 that they raise the rates to, we are now paying $52. Yes, that's even after we canceled they're still charging us. I've talked to some other members, and I think we're going to look into legal counsel. They are screwing people out of their money. Times are hard enough out here for some corporation to be out here robbing people who are just trying to stay fit and healthy.

I've been going to this gym since 2020 before it was HiTONE, and after HiTONE bought it, it has slowly gone downhill. To start my rates were raised $20 and as you can see in the pictures, I'm not sure what I'm paying for. It sure contradicts the rate increase email. On top of that, they just kind of pick and chose who's rates were raised. Not everyone that's been there as long as me had their rates raised.

3/4 of the gym floor was ripped up approximately 5 weeks ago with no answers to when it will be done and nobody actively working on it. Employees don't even have answers because corporate is so secretive, so much so that they won't even give employees the corporate number. Many have even sent an email, and of course, no response.

The padding is beyond needing repair. Massage chair out of order. They won't order the wipes for employees to refill the dispensers so people can wipe the equipment down.

Over the years I've seen managers and other employees bust their butts to promote and be personal with people. When it seems like it's thriving, they let those managers go. Funny thing is, they are still pushing employees to promote even with the disarray that it's in. Who's going to pay $50 for this crap, because I'm done and will be canceling my membership.

It's my understanding that the ones that own this, own the whole shopping center. My best guess is they are trying to turn it into something else.🤷🏼‍♂️ It sucks, because it's a convenient location to my house and a good size gym, when not under construction and equipment operational.

Do not waste your money here! It was a good run, but you just lost 3 more people, and I'm sure many more.

Great gym and environment. The staff has a high turnover rate. Lisa is very welcoming and kind, she's been ba ray of sunshine when half of the gym was closed for 2 months, she kept me updated with the progress and shared the same level of concern as to when the repairs would be complete. You are paying slightly higher prices for the convenience since most members live within 10 minutes of the gym.
The only thing it's missing is decline barbell bench and a chest supported laying row machine and this place would be complete.

Corporate and upper management have made it difficult to workout in the environment due to construction that has been taking place for months. This, however, has not stopped Ms. Lisa from continuing to make the gym a positive environment. She goes above and beyond to ensure that the gym is clean and that everyone can enjoy their workout as much as possible. Her professionalism and dedication is amazing and unlike any other gym I have been too. Ms. Lisa is the best part of this gym and the only reason I would still recommend after construction has concluded!

I joined the gym back in February and although pricier than I wanted, I joined because it’s the closest gym to me. With that being said, there was a water leak almost 2 months ago that shut down half of the gym that I actually used. They have not made any progress of fixing the floors and no employees can tell you when they will start renovations again. I know others have been trying to contact corporate and talk to the new manager. I will give them until my next month is up before I cancel. I will also continue to leave new negative reviews daily until someone can give some answers.

UPDATE: We've been charged $50 for the membership but it's been more than 5 weeks since the last flooding, repairs haven't been made and we only have access to half of the facilities, so I think, this last month, we should have been charged $25 only, instead of $50...
PREVIOUS REVIEW: Very expensive membership, they went from $30 to $50 a month since last December, and I haven't seen any improvements yet... Back in December they justified the increase by promising to paint the bathrooms and a bunch of other services in the app, we're in July and they gym is still the same conditions, no improvements... there's ALWAYS an issue with the front door scanner and the wifi is the worst!!! Facility is not as clean as it used to, trash cans are always full, the entrance smells awful and the trash can at the front door (outside) is always full with garbage all around the sidewalk. I can start seeing some of the equipment in bad condition, as the leg extension machine, and some of the benches. Rating from 1-5, 5 being excellent- Cleanliness: 2, equipment condition: 4, staff:4, Internet:1, front door scanning: 2. A membership of $50 for all these issues is not justified for a gym that's supposed to be, top notch, 24/7... Also, when there's heavy rain, the ceiling starts leaking, and you have to move the benches to a different spot. I think we've had 2 flooding incidents in less than 2 years, what makes the facilites out of service for several days.

Don’t waste your time or money. Price went up to $50 a month and the wifi doesn’t even work. The gym is located in a cell phone dead zone so you HAVE to use wigi if you want to use your phone, get texts, and listen to music. I think if I’m paying $50 a month then the wifi should work. There’s also really no special amenities . This is just a wanna be “higher quality” planet fitness. Might as well save your money and go elsewhere.

Not worth $50 a month. That’s crazy internet is down most days, fake sauna, no paper towels in men’s bathroom 2 showers. Not enough benches to workout on. You want to spend $50 bucks a month on a gym membership just go to LA Fitness. At least LA Fitness has a big sauna u can use whenever not having to wait til staff come in , LA fitness has a big pool to swim in and a jacuzzi. THIS IS NOT WORTH $600 a year. Had a membership from here since 12/21/2022 , gym was amazing then but has been slowly declining since then with back to back issues . Multiple occasions over the years of door scanner not working and making gym inaccessible and me wasting my time driving 20 minutes just to go back home, bathrooms have no hand paper towels at all.
They decided to change price from $30 to $50 after changing nothing in the gym and only giving a 2 day notice in email. Email was sent out on Nov 29th ( “final notice” was the only notice ) and then the charge of $50 came on the Dec 1st , when I sent a request on Dec 2nd to cancel they did not let me and told me to pay $50 first.

I’ve always really enjoyed this gym, the staff is friendly, the gym is clean, well kept, not overly crowded and close to home. Until recently I did not have any complaints until I noticed I was charged OVER $300 between Sept-Jan . Cancelling has been a NIGHTMARE. Staff advised everyone should have been aware of upcoming price changes ($50 a month) but by 3 family member and myself were not notified and we all cancelled immediately . But guess what? We’re still paying until February. The gym is nice but unfortunately not worth the price. I wish them the best but there are plenty of other gyms in the area that are bigger, have more equipment, a pool, classes, etc.

Let me start off my saying this. I’ve been going here for the past 10 months. The gym itself is great. The staff keep it clean and are very friendly. The machines and equipment are well maintained and sanitized. However, I can’t get behind this new price change of 50$ a month. In my opinion adding on to a monthly subscription around December(the busiest time for gyms)where people are trying to make themselves healthy and look the part is pretty sick. This gym didn’t add any new equipment. Nothing construction wise is being added to it. It’s just a random extra charge. This gym use to be worth it and affordable but now it is not.

Love this gym. I've been going for 2 years now, and I love the staff there! However, this recent price increase is too much. My membership went up from $29/month to $49. I've been working 2 jobs for the past year plus to make ends meet in this economy, so I've only been going once or twice a week. $29 was still kind of worth it, but $49 isn't justifiable. I MAYBE could've justified a $10 increase, but a 40% increase is asinine. I really think the owners are gonna drive members away with this, because this gym is a community. We all live close, have families, and are getting by. I know I am now considering leaving. I dont ever use the extra amenities like hydromassage, red light therapy, etc. Just really sucks because Chris is great, staff is great, and the gym is always meticulously maintained.

This has been my gym of choice for the last 2 years. Great location, space, equipment, and with staff AJ and new Manager Chris, it has made this location and experience even better. However, with the new price increase from $29 to $50 it has left me exploring other options in the area. I do not use any of the amenities at the gym (hydro massage, red light Therapy, Sauna, classes, plans for online programs, etc), but yet I'm now forced to pay for them. I really love working out here and hope Corporate would reconsider the increase and rethink plan options for regular gym member like myself. This is my gym home. I adore that they are 24 hrs. Staff is okay. They keep it nice and clean and try their best to keep it safe. Have had some issues with their new billing department... but I have been told it is rectified. Machines are new...classes are almost empty, but the workouts are effective and intense. I enjoy the convenience of them being nearby.

During the day the classes are a bit more busy with seniors but still intense.

I have no complaints. I would keep in mind that the gym is a bit smaller if you're used to bigger facilities. I don't mind because they have all the necessary equipment and/or machines I need. They have a sauna room (not sure if it's up and running, it had been out of order for awhile), hydromassage beds, a private room with a Styku (3D body scanner), red light therapy, and restrooms with lockers and showers. I only use the workout equipment and machines though. Great location (near a local market, Family Dollar, smoke shop, and Pizza Hut), open 24/7, and it's always clean. I like to go early in the morning so I can work out uninterrupted. I do believe they've gone through a change in management since I first joined in 2022. I can't really speak to the staff since I tend to visit the gym outside of business hours.

I love this gym! It's nice and clean and the people are very nice and friendly. My family and I attend this gym and what I love about it is that we can take the classes together. There are young and old in the class, you just work at your level and pace which I love. I'm a beginner with these classes, but the instructors are very patient and take their time to show you the proper form you should have or even show you modified versions if needed. I'm 55 years old so of course I was very intimidated but now I'm feeling like I'm a part of the clan.. The people that are in the class are very friendly as well. It's no competition, if they see that you need help they step in to help and give friendly advice as well. It's like one big happy family❤️. I recommend this gym to everyone, oh yeah, bring your family too😬

The gym was nice. The billing is not. They initially started off as a no commitment contract and once I moved somehow it got changed. This gym is a scam. They encourage you to sign up for the membership without giving you all the information about this “contract”. I’ve been paying over 40 dollars a month to use the gym and weekly classes. Now that I’m moving, this gym is not going to be close by my new home. They hardly have any locations in Georgia. I come in to try to change my gym membership to the standard for 29 dollars and they tell me it’s going to restart my whole 12 month contract. If you try to cancel your membership they tell you that you have to pay the buy out amount which is totaled to the rest of the months left on your contract. AND the staff don’t even care or show any understanding, I’m just referred to peak solutions customer service and they’re a whole other scam. I’m leaving this gym as soon as I can and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I know. Btw, this gym is small as hell. Most the classes they have should be held for middle schoolers and they try to take your money left and right with these expensive personal training plans that are over 200 dollars a month. DONT DO IT.

This is one of the best gyms in the Fayette and Clayton area and I’m gonna tell you why:
1. Cleaning: The gym is always clean and equipped with sanitizing cloths by the workout stations
2. Staff and Classes: The staff is very helpful and knowledgable
- Coach Bam and Coach Marisol are awesome instructors! I attend Bam’s HIIT class and it is a true gem causing me to lose several pounds and be more consistent. The music playlist is nice too! I attend Marisol’s Strength and Sculpt class and it is also a gem! She’s so upbeat and concise.
3. Spacing: The gym is spaced efficiently.. to where you are not too close to others
4. Location: There is a grocery store right next door! It makes you want to pick up healthier foods after you work out!

Becky terminated my membership because of noise when lifting heavy as well as talking on the phone. Note I'm already working out or on a call before she turn the lights down to start yoga (big safety issue). She turned the gym into a yoga studio. I’m usually in the gym over a hour prior.
Becky even told me to change the time I come in. This is when I explained that my contract said nothing about this being a yoga studio nor no noise when working out. However, the restrooms does not get cleaned daily, you can see build up dirt inside the sink, the floors are not as clean, there is no paper towels inside the rest rooms to dry your hands after you finish washing them. I like to workout before work, but because of the unsanitary restroom, I'm afraid to use their shower. I hope they can hire someone specifically to clean the restroom/equipment 2-3 times a day.

This is my go-to spot for use of gym equipment and personal training! The staff is courteous, and the gym is always clean! The club director Jackson is great and can answer any questions you have about group fitness, equipment, and membership. I highly recommend this place!
