level of instruction from teachers, the mix of different races and ages of people there, feeling that all are welcome, a sense of comfort and ease there.

I enjoy the yoga classes offered here... instructors are great and just the overall atmosphere is awesome.
Not a complaint, just and FYI
Just don't use the side door as an entrance. Today, when I arrived about an hour early for the 12:30 class and a visiting yogi / first timer informed me (her version of events)she told the guy in the waiting area that she'd be back in a moment but she had to run to her vehicle to get her water. Only when she returned he was gone and the doors were locked, she was locked out of her class and had been trying get back in for 30 minutes. When she notice me walking up to the studio, she inquired if I had the key to get her back in, explained I was arriving to class early but let see if can figure it out. We knocked on the side door then back on the front doors, no response. I advise her to try the door bells at the side door (unsure if it actually works) press the lower level button then the upper two buttons when a woman open the door. The young woman explained the situation and proceed back upstairs to class. The woman that let us in checked me in and proceed to locate someone, I assume, the gentleman that was suppose to monitor the downstairs area. She locate one of the instructors/volunteers and he sat in waiting area until another the male ( he usually checks me in any other time) with short salt and pepper curly hair arrived and the other guy explained the situation and told him he was about to step out. This gentleman exited the side door and when he notice he forgot his skate board, entered thru the side door then left the building a second time. While sitting there waiting for my class, I was asked if I check in and I informed the male I did and continued browsing my IG feed. Then some how we got on the matter pertaining to the young lady getting back in the building and explained I rang the bell -- knocked on the door to help her get back into the class. At which point I was told in a unfavorable tone (as if I was being scolded), "Do not do that again!". I acknowledge his statement and proceed to make the suggestion that if that door is not intended for entry / exit and he didn't want visitors to use it for that purpose, he may want to put a sign there to make it known (blatantly obvious). His response I am not going to do that and I shouldn't have to do that because this is a yoga studio... I explained then it is more than likely it will happen again and if I was passing by and another person asked for my assistant on how to get in, I'd direct them to that door, as well, to try the door bells. This went on for a few minutes.. Where I was told I don't know what I talking about, I didn't make sense and when I asked for his point of view when she step out, he said she said nothing specific to him but mumbled something on the way out. I explained I was given a different account of events which is the reason I offered my assistance.
If you all could of been there, you'd understand why I took time after my class to post this review because his response and body language was very unwelcoming but I say all this to say, when a customer makes a recommendation don't take it personal or get defensive.... listen and move on, if you have no intention of acting on the suggestion so be it but do not come back to me (the customer) -- after placing tape on the door bells -- and say, now you've eliminated another option we have for getting into the building. Dude are you serious. 🤔
The only way visitors know or learn the etiquette of your establishment, sometimes, you have to spell it out and don't assume because we practice or participate in a few yoga classes here or at other studios the law of the land is common knowledge. I've only taken yoga at this location using Groupon (20 classes deal about a 2 years ago and 10 class deal currently)... Please, do not take this a me bashing this studio, I love and enjoy taking yoga classes here and often tell friends and coworkers to try it out. This situation just rubes me the wrong way.
Don't use the side DOOR 👌

I absolutely love Hotlanta Yoga!!!. The actual yoga studio is so relaxing. It's so easy to get into the right mindset when you walk in. The instructors are all great and I've enjoyed the different experiences they provide.
I've also done their cycling class a ton! I have knee injuries, so it's a perfect way to get my heart rate up and remain low impact on my joints. Plus, it's made my actual bike riding way easier.

As a new student to Yoga, I am in the process of trying out several studios in downtown area and so far this studio is awesome. The instructors all have something different and unique to offer. Monday nights with Chelsea is amazing.

Love this place! I have taken yoga at various studios but this is the 1st place I've been consistent. It's primarily because it's a super great place to practice yoga and the instructors are fabulous. My practice has become stronger because I'm always pushed to do better. I love the athletic aspect as well as focus on form. Keep rockin' Hotlanta!

I've never really been able to get into yoga before, but I really like classes here. Damian, Hannah Rose, and Malia are great teachers! I'm happy to find a place where I can develop in yoga.

I picked up a deal on Scoutmob for Hotlanta Yoga and I have to say that once I've taken all the classes that deal covers I plan on getting a monthly pass. Damien's Athletic Power Yoga is the perfect thing to work up a sweat while still leaving me refreshed and invigorated. Truly a fantastic experience!

My favorite yoga studio in Atlanta! The space is lovely and they have a fabulous teaching staff. I moved to Atlanta a year ago and tried out 7 different studios before Hotlanta. If you are looking for a REAL yoga experience, this is your place! I have now been practicing here for 8 months and have decided to deepen my yoga practice by taking their teacher training program this fall.

Love this studio! Damien is a great teacher. Challenging, yet patient. His yoga practice is more athletic than others, which I like. Expect to sweat!
