Be prepared to get your sweat on! The saunas make me burn so many more calories than I would in a normal workout. I get a great mix of strength training and cardio. I’ve never been a big weight lifting person so the isometric workouts have been great for my muscle building. I like the privacy of the saunas as well. I can truly disconnect and focus on my workout without having to worry about wandering eyes.

I would like to give a huge shout out to the staff at HOTWORX-Cartersville. It is absolutely amazing how clean the sauna’s, bathrooms (smell great) and equipment is kept. I have never been to a single class that I didnt see someone cleaning.

I’ve been a member for about a month, and one of the benefits I enjoy is the security. People can’t just walk in, you either need to be let in or use your code. The second plus for me is not being crowded and fitness gurus making videos for their channel or for Tik Tok. The verdict is still out on all the benefits from IF heat but it feels good to sweat, especially in less time. In a regular gym I would have to do an hour on the bike to sweat that much. Lastly, the Cartersville location is a nice size and very clean. I visited the Brookhaven location and it didn’t come close to Cartersville! Inoperable saunas and lighting. Dusty and doors smeared with fingerprints. Cartersville’s staff are friendly and they show pride and care in the establishment. Maybe they can give Brookhaven some pointers. Lastly, you have to financially commit to 3 months (paid monthly) or there is a fee to cancel your membership. I wasn’t impressed by that initially, but I feel like it keeps me accountable, especially if I have to pay. I will provide an update after my first three months. Good luck on your fitness journey.

Short story: Hotworx is a total game changer and an amazing way to workout!

Long story: I have tried many different gyms/yoga studios throughout my life but was never able to maintain a consistent routine with it. Gyms made me feel overwhelmed, inadequate, and like I was on display, so I never was able to really get what I wanted out of my workouts.

Hotworx has fixed literally all of those of things with their small-group saunas. The fact that I can typically get a sauna all to myself no matter what time of day I go has been my favorite part. I get to workout without feeling embarrassed or shy about it, and I get to literally torch my calories with the infrared saunas 🔥 I have never felt more successful and motivated with working out than I have since joining Hotworx.

There are plenty of different types of workouts accessible at all times, so it makes cross-training simple. Everything you need is there, so no need to stress about that either. I’ve seen some reviews that say they feel the classes are too repetitive, but I think those people just aren’t getting creative about how to take advantage of the saunas. If I know I’ve got a sauna to myself, I’ll turn the volume all the way down on the class, turn my music up, and do my own workout during the time I have the sauna reserved. Obviously, this makes the calorie tracker element of the app less precise, but if you’re like me and you don’t care about the numbers, then just go for it and do your own thing! I’ve even just used the sauna for quiet meditation instead of working out 🙃. Again, this is only when you know you’ve got the sauna to yourself so pay attention to the reservations on the app! But like I said earlier, I almost always can get a sauna to myself 👍

The app is super helpful and easy to use, too. You can easily search for, reserve, and cancel classes, and it lets you see if someone else has also reserved the same class at that time. That way if you want to make sure you’re by yourself, you can just skip past those and find an empty class. The calorie tracker and reward system is 💯! As your rack up your calories burned you earn rewards (hello, gift cards!) that can be used to buy merch, put towards your membership fee, etc.

Long story short: if you’ve been wavering on joining or not, consider this your sign to take that step and do it! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I absolutely love this gym! I joined HOTWORX - Acworth location - two years ago when there wasn't even a Cartersville location - that's how enthusiastic and encouraging the owner is! The Cartersville location is where I go now and the gym is always clean and well stocked, the atmosphere is always safe and upbeat, and the gym members are so kind and courteous of one another. I enjoy the sauna workouts most, but the FX zone is also such a nice option for when you want to just pop in and get a workout in. Andria was so helpful and knowledgeable during my recent pregnancy and 4th trimester and made sure I was taking care of myself and baby while continuing my fitness journey. My experience started off great. Then, almost a year later, the owner definitely does NOT treat all members the same. Especially if they are her friends .I had an awful, humiliating experience right before Christmas. The owner, Andrea, shows up at 7:30 in the morning in 30° weather in her pajamas and no shoes on. I'm walking out the door as she's coming in . She started yelling at me in front of the gym where all the members were coming and going and some even watched and listened to her berate me and speak to me as if I were a child over volume and app issues ! She over talked me and when I was finally able to speak she told me she "doesn't want to hear it" as I'm trying to show and tell her I am deaf in my right ear ! She proceeds to yell for 15 min and tries telling me that I can no longer reserve ahead of time on the app and only last minute , so that everyone, aka her friends , can reserve first. She also told me that "your mat is uninviting" . She was verbally and emotionally abusive on multiple occasions, but the last time had me traumatized and humiliated ! All I did was work out and go home. I haven't been back since. I struggle with severe anxiety and people phobia. I really tried to go out of my comfort zone at Hotworx . I just got humiliated by the owner in front of the entire gym instead. Talk about discouragement! Over volume and app issues!

I have enjoyed hot Worx so much. I think bc of the sauna you have much quicker downtown between workouts. It’s very clean and the staff is very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend

This is perfect for a busy schedule. You have the convenience of being able to go 24/7 with a virtual instructor to guide the workout. There are options of yoga/isometric workouts as well as HIIT. All are challenging with low and high impact options, I leave feeling accomplished that I got the most out of my workout.
