Isn’t it unethical or illegal for male employees to be in the sauna while working? Even if off the clock, they should have to go to another location to workout and use amenities. It feels so uncomfortable and weird. Like we’re being stalked or watched.. they don’t wear uniforms but still speak out to members and then everyone looking like is this an employee or what? We don’t know if they’re looking at our bodies or not.

This gym is very unprofessional and ghetto!!!! I come because it is closest to me but I will not be coming here anymore and I want to cancel my membership all together!!! I was in the pool minding my business and I turned my back and these kids were watching me! Most people watch through the glass but whatever, I mind my business again and by time I looked again they have their faces pressed against the glass watching me and mocking my dancing!!! That is weird and perverted!! I told them to stop and some time pass of me trying to ignore them and they were doing it again!!!! I come out to tell them to leave or to tell the workers and the worker decided to argue with me instead!!! I am Jamaican and when I am agitated I cannot help but get loud but I obviously was not yelling at him! I told him these kids are watching me in the pool and he would rather argue with me and say that I am causing a scene and that I dont have to come at him sideways, I can just tell him what happened, all while laughing in my face???? I never said anything about him!!! I said what happened and at this point it felt like discrimination because of my accent!!! This is disappointing, disrespectful, and disgusting that this gym would be in support of these kids being perverted to the point that they would laugh in my face at my discomfort and be weird to me!!!! This is weird!!! I will never ever ever come back to this gym!!! You can’t even feel secure as a woman at this gym!!!

Crystal tries her best to keep the gym updated however once you have a conversation with her about it , you will realize it takes time. This is the worst LA Fitness I have ever been to. More than half the treadmills don't work and need service. Most of the weight machines don't work and need service. It's also way too many people in this gym and it's just not enough equipment to use if you're trying to come in at a decent time and leave at a decent time. They also barely ever have wipes and the front desk people are weird. I really hate coming to this gym and may start going to the ones closer to my job

I have only been a member recently. I am very disappointed. There are machines that are broken, the dress code should be enforced, machines are rusted, the jacuzzi stays broken, the filth of the area is disgusting. I’m really considering leaving the facility. I'm really tempted to cancel my membership at this point. They opened the gym knowing it had no water. I was forced to work out without access to a water fountain. I can't take my shower after my workout so I will be late now that I have to travel back home. The hot tub has been down for days now. Just an overpriced planet fitness. Called the gym at about 12 noon and asked if the jacuzzi was working today and I received the answer “Yes it’s back working.” As I get to the gym the lie detector test determined that was a lie. Remains one of the dirtiest and poorly maintained gyms in Atlanta. Everything is broken, some equipment in such a bad condition it’s dangerous to use. Rules are not enforced, expect to spend half your workout looking for equipment since nothing is restocked. The people that work here could not do a worse job if they tried. Extremely Disappointed in Cleanliness and Management

I visited this LA Fitness location first thing in the morning, expecting a clean and well-maintained environment to start my day. Unfortunately, the facility was in unacceptable condition showers still had pube hair from previous days, garbage cans were overflowing, paper towel dispensers were empty, and there were no sanitizing wipes available. It was clear that proper cleaning protocols had not been followed.

What’s even more troubling is the apparent lack of urgency from management to address these ongoing issues. This kind of neglect, especially in a predominantly Black neighborhood, raises serious concerns about the standards being upheld here. I encourage others to visit and see for themselves, and I sincerely hope corporate takes action to ensure all members are treated with the same level of care and respect.

The location is great but the gym culture is lacking. The morning staff is inconsistent with greeting and weights are rarely put back from staff and clients. You can never find the weight your looking for and clients hog the cardio machine. They stay on for longer than 20 minutes and staff aren't monitoring. Ie stairs. Quite possibly the nastiest restrooms I’ve ever seen. They’ve attempted to upgrade some of the equipment, which I appreciate, but they don’t maintain the current equipment. Some machines will break and they just put yellow caution tape over it for months at a time. This Saturday (2/15) they were supposed to open at 8am and had people waiting at the door for over 40 minutes because no employees showed up to open the building.

I started going to this gym in April 2024 and recently froze my membership. The primary reason? They do not care about families here. I homeschool my kids and starting our day with a workout was crucial to our daily routine. I was paying an extra $30/month for the childcare and for the past few months it’s rarely open. Before that, it was never ever clean. Sticky surfaces and floors. Smudged windows. Peeling paint and drywall. Leaking ceilings. You name it!!! Completely neglected! The babysitter at that time was phenomenal, but they didn’t value her and treated her badly (yes right in front of the parents). In those eight months there’s been four different managers and no improvement to the facility. The equipment is old and rusted. Dust everywhere. Weights never on the racks! Bathrooms just yuck! Sanitizing wipes never available. I seriously don’t understand how this location is still open. It’s a disgrace to the brand’s reputation. They don’t even greet you when you walk in! You would think the staff is being held against their will because everyone always has an attitude and takes legitimate safety concerns and complaints personally. I tried my best to be patient and give the new managers time to implement positive changes but it’s no use. I hope the new manager Cam and the janitorial lead Tasha sees these reviews and for once take action to change things. I’m willing to resume my membership if they can start to do their jobs and get the place under control. I shouldn’t have to drive 20 mins to a different facility for basic accommodations and considerations. It’s so sad and unfortunate.

Also watch out for Chris in sales. I was enrolled in a membership that wasn’t what he advertised to me. Found out when I tried working out in another state. I ended up canceling it and started over at that different club. Consequently I had to pay the initiation fee twice because Chris lied about what he sold me. Thankfully that new rep set me with an even better deal as a courtesy for the inconveniences caused by camp creek!

I started going to this gym because of the convince to my house and child’s school, but I have to say this gym is just GROSS!!! I mean from the bathroom to the workout floor. The sauna is absolutely DISGUSTING!!! I pay almost $100 a month in membership fees and this is just not okay. One of the things I pay for is “kids club” the kids club is rarely open despite having people pay for it monthly. They have a new manager name Cam but I don’t think he’s doing a good job. Nothing has improved with this club in fact it has gotten worse. The gym needs more staff and a complete cleaning and sanitation. It’s always the clubs that have more “Black” members that have such low regard to sanitation and community. They need to do better. I've been asking for almost 1 year about how to adjust my membership and fix an issue and he called me last week, I was busy and asked him to call me back and he CALLED me back (who does that in 2024!) I dont know why this gym has so many stars.For a $50 a month membership gym, It should be 1 star. Its almost always dirty (barely cleaned any time I used to go), and when it is being cleaned, they decide to do it while the gym is open and block out half of the gym equipment to do a "deep clean" that should of been done last night or before the gym is open. They also always have to fix the machines. The machines litterally have rust all over them because instead of just buying new equipment, they decide to keep "fixing" them, just for the machine to be broken again in another week. (Due to this, alot of machines like the ellicpticals and treadmills to squeak so loud and move really weird, which could cause someone to be injured in the future). I went back to my the Planet Fitness Membership, and even they have brand new machines in even there "worst" gyms. Where is the LA fitness $50 membership per PERSON money going towards? For my whole year being at LA Fitness, the locker room and equipment was always dirty, the equipment was rusty and broken, and it is so musty in there because there's so many people in there and they have no fans with little air circulation. I am so happy to be back at Planet Fitness. La Fitness is a waste of money, and I promise if I went in there today, it would still be the same.

The sales manager KEN started yelling at a customer just because she wanted to pay for guest privileges and he started calling her derogatory names and yelling to the top of his lungs in a crowded gym that the staff needs to “get her” before he did . They don’t have enough equipment for the amount of people that come to this gym. There are 2 movable benches so your workouts will take double the time necessary to complete, because you have to factor in the time it takes to access the equipment when it’s being hogged. Make getting through workouts extremely difficult, frustrating, time consuming. Machines are constantly broken, no one re-racks weights or puts anything back. The staff I’ve met are extremely kind and as helpful as they can be- and mentioned to me that they will be getting more equipment and expanding the gym to accommodate more people which might help. Overall my workouts are pretty frustrating though due to the limitations I mentioned. It takes forever to finish the workout and it’s just not the most efficient place to workout when you are on time crunch and can’t be at the gym for hours.

Hands down the worst LA Fitness I’ve ever been to. Roach infested 🤢!!… I’ve been a member for years and have been to plenty all over the East coast, this one needs to be closed down and renovated. I was forced to go to this location after moving to the area, given that there is only one location in the area. Should you decide to go here you will experience overcrowding, plenty of broken and dirty equipment, ROACHES, and a musty smell that goes into over-drive on humid days. Literally about 75% of the cardio machines are either fully inoperable or working improperly. You can tell that whatever regional leaders are over this area, they clearly don’t care about locations in predominantly Black communities. When I lived further north, I had at least 5 locations within a 5 mile radius of my home and not a single one of them were this dirty, nasty, and unkempt. On any given day you can find empty cleaning wipe receptacles, missing paper towels in the dispensers, dusty floors, and ROACHES! Unfortunately, after my experience yesterday of seeing tiny roaches crawling all over the free weights, I have decided that I’ll just have to manage the inconvenience of driving at least 25 mins to the locations that are further north. LA fitness, and the management staff there should really be ashamed of what they’ve allowed this location to become. People in black communities deserve a decent place to workout too, especially when they are paying the same price! Unacceptable!

This place has to be one of the most un sanitary locations I’ve ever been too, and with that being said I give this place one star because it’s absolutely filthy and disgusting. Unfortunately I’ll have to cancel my membership. I been going here for two weeks now and the same gum is stuck to the floor and the locker room bathrooms have mold on the urinals. I can’t even use the restroom here. Floors haven’t been mopped in the two weeks I been going to the location as I’ve been paying close attention before I wrote this review. Walls and mirrors are dirty. I’m so disappointed.

Just moved to the city and been looking for a good gym. Tried multiple LA in Atl area and this the best one. The staff is very helpful especially tray, he’s very knowledgeable and have good customer service!

I would not recommend this location as 1. not kid friendly, I couldn’t bring my nephews to come join a workout with me as a MEMBER but the mcdonough location gave me no problem. 2. they always give me a hard time when I want to bring a guest to come play basketball as a MEMBER then 3. there is always some type of crime going on inside & outside of the establishment. I will not be going here anymore.

Customer service was EXCELLENT! I worked out with Coach Vic, he’s a very knowledgeable man he knows his stuff. Yes he kicked my butt with the workout but I feel good. Highly recommend!

Donte at this establishment is phenomenal!! He took the time to notice my issue with my account and rectify it within a timely manner. He also made me feel very welcomed and I haven’t seen such amazing service in the Atlanta area in quite some time. I appreciate all your help and very proud to call la fitness my home gym.

This gym location is meh, not always as clean or as well stocked as i would like but gets the job done and has some fairly good instructors. My biggest gripe are the cardio machines they are always broken. I am l here now and 5 of the 10 of the upstairs elliptical machines are not usable, one doesn't move, one doesn't track, one is a safety hazard, one is too tight and well the last just looks dubious. Not to mention they are seriously out of date.

Windows broke out of the truck, and I was not the only one. This happens so much that the staff has become numb to it the police officer that filled out my report had the same attitude "why people come to this location is beyond me, this happens all the time" said the officer. I will be sending the police report to the company to LA Fitness to see if I receive a response.

Came in the gym this morning and the guy that was checking everyone in was about 5’11 with a beard in mid twenties and dark skinned. They are all rude as is but this time it was my turn to be disrespected and treating as a beggar and not a long standing PAYING member. I scanned my card and I heard it beep and walk off he then began to snap his finger rudely and scream hey hey till I turned around. Not only was it rude it was unprofessional and embarrassing. I’ve been leaving reviews about the front desk for years and after reading the comments I see that everyone has also. Either y’all don’t care or we need new management

Wow! I never thought I would be working out in a Fitness center. I know it is God that sent me here. Everyone have been so amazingly awesome in helping to getting me healthy. I thank God for Jordan, Vic, and Manouchka. Vic gave so much education on healthy eating, the assessment didn’t overwhelm me, I’m looking forward to coming back. God thank you for my new beginning to a healthy future. I feel like I’ve gained a new family already.

I have been a dedicated member of LA Fitness specifically at this location for several years. I have witnessed the ups and downs associated with running any business. I can truly say that I have noticed the cleanliness of the gym specifically the women’s bathroom. There seems to be less confrontational situations among members and that is a great thing. The staff has been very helpful and dedicated to doing a great job.

Great vibes amongst the people that come to work out here but it’s ALWAYS dirty at this gym. I don’t think the floor has seen a mop in months (not exaggerating). The lady at the front desk has an attitude almost every time I walk in. It’s ridiculous. I do like the classes. Crystal does a great full body class on Wednesday’s. Let’s do better. I shouldn’t have to drive from CC to Cobb to get a clean LA Fitness.

I’ve been going to this gym for 11 years. It’s not the best gym, but it’s my preferred. It’s spacious. Has a nice basketball court and plenty of weights. The equipment needs some work but it gets the job done. I will say they have a lot of car break-ins so be cautious of your things. All in all, this gym has everything you need. Pool. Sauna. Kids club. Smoothie bar. Dance classes. Etc

I used to love this gym when Tray the manager was here, now you all just hired a terrible girl up front that always has an attitude. Not to mention the restrooms are dirty and when I ask her about them she seems to have an issue. What can we do? Everyone that I have spoken to complains about her!!!

Finally rejoined LA Fitness as a member post pandemic. Will be canceling. The Camp Creek location is filthy. 50% of the machines/equipment upstairs do not work. I was so discouraged pushing through my workout. People..franchise owners, employees...do better!

This gym is not the best in Atlanta but it gets the job done. My main highlight here is the Aqua Fit classes with Yvette! She is amazing… her classes are super energizing just like her personality. I also enjoy the Yoga classes as well! The facility definitely needs a bit of a cleanup and upgrade. Having broken equipment, lack of space, and dirty areas makes the experience not so great.

I just don’t understand why it takes SO LONG for this gym to get broken equipment repaired!!! It has “scheduled maintenance “ tagged on equipment FOR MONTHS!! It’s already ridiculous that some of the equipment is the ONLY ONE in the gym. And we are talking about some of the most priority equipment. Please improve this!!!!!

The place looks great. I found that Mr. Harold one of the LA members recruiters or con was kind of rude, pressing me impressing me to show him my two day pass said it Hass to have a scan on the bar on the email then once I showed it to him, he did not scan it. It was like he needed proof that I wasn’t lying. It felt very uncomfortable I was not shown around First. I was not spoke to First. He just was like show me the free two day pass I wasn’t even there to start my two day pass. I was simply there for a tour, but he started it anyway without my permission, it was very uncomfortable

I went to utilize my 3 day free pass that was sent to me just to determine if I would make this my home gym but the customer service sucked they also informed me that the sales team is the only people that can allow you in and I’m like okay the email never stated that they aren’t in until after the time I would normally get my workout in then when I stated it doesn’t say that on the email they just looked at me and was like okay. No one tried to resolve the issue the fact that I just drove by 8+ miles to get here I was rudely dismissed yeah I’ll keep my money I’ll find another gym

Avoid like the plaque wouldn’t let me use my guest pass. Even though I use it for any la fitness. The older extra heavy weight gentleman is very unfriendly and uninviting and rude. Don’t come to this one if you can avoid. He told me I couldn’t use the guest pass even though I use it for any la fitness even out of town. All he had to say was tell your member to change the location instead he didn’t even explain that. Very weird energy from the staff at this location.
