This place is a full-body workout in disappointment. Half the machines are broken, the rest squeak like they’re begging for mercy, and the foam padding on the bicep machines is completely shot to hell.

They call it “renovated,” but that must’ve just meant new paint over old grime. It’s always crowded, the vibe’s rude, and the locker room feels like a crime documentary — people have been profiled, then followed, lockers broken into, car keys taken, and cars cleaned out.

Easily one of the dirtiest, most chaotic LA Fitness locations around. Bring wipes, hand sanitizer, and low expectations.

It has the exercise equipment you would expect. Not the clubs fault, but people sit blocking equipment and play with their phones. Yoga classes are great! There are other classes that seem well attended, but I have not tried them. The water fountains are not cool and the men's locker room is dingy.

I am so happy I came back to LA Fitness especially this location. The Kids Club has been such a life changing add- on having a 2 year old. Also Eddie is so knowledgeable as a trainer and Shondra is always in great spirits when welcoming me as soon as I walk in. I would highly recommend this gym!

The staff there are the best part of this place. I look forward to their smiling faces every morning. The girls working childwatch are also a huge highlight. They were so patient with my daughter when I started to there, and now I pick her up smiling every day.

This is the best Fitness facility ever. Customer service is superb. The trainers are patient and knowledgeable. I had Tammi and Jose. I highly recommend these ladies. Oh my goodness... This LA Fitness has such friendly staff and the cleanliness has improved significantly with the manager Sarah returning. The two girls that close during the weekdays are also very helpful. Staff is very attentive and a pleasure to deal with. The gym looks nice, but they need to clean the bathrooms and sauna. It’s filthy. Seems like black mold is everywhere, on shower curtains, floor, walls, and even the ceiling. The sauna was probably never cleaned. The pool and hot tub needed some love as well. It just seems like management doesn’t care about these areas.

Last time I was here was in 2021 and it was dirty, crowded and it seemed the crowd could do whatever they wanted, bringing their own speakers have their big gym bags laying around on the floor. I came back this spring 2025 and still the dirtiest LA Fitness I’ve been to. They re did the lay out and added different equipment and turf. It looks nice. They also updated their squat and deadlift area it’s awesome. But due to the small building it can feel overcrowded during rush hour. Nonetheless, still seems they don’t clean the gym. It’s filthy as heck. I wish they would vacuum it more often

i’ve been going to this location for about six months. I’m not a normal gym person, but I moved to the area and gave up my gym in my apartment complex. I can say the welcoming desk is always friendly and helpful and the gym is clean and lots of resources if you like a full service gym. I would certainly recommend it for people in the Wade green Kennesaw area.

I signed up because of the deal I was promised. I had no idea that it was the last day for the salesman I was working with, and apparently promised something the company would not honor. I signed up a family of four and was told I would only be charged for the primary account holds yearly fee. That of course was not true. Now you would think this would be something the higher ups would resolve, and I was told that it would be resolved, but two months later I have not been refunded and no reduction in payments. So bottom line is…. If you want to join this gym, buy it through the website because if you speak with a sales person, you might be lied to and the company will not make it right.

I've been working out at La Fitness on Wade green for a few months now. I recently met the new General manager she seems to be a very knowledgeable person. I always see her on the floor having conversations with the guest. I've over heard some of the guest describing her as having a wonderful and positive attitude. I recently moved to the area and decided to check out this gym on a guest pass, thinking I might renew my membership. Big mistake. The manager, Ari (or whatever her name is), was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Her attitude was appalling, and it’s clear she has no business working in customer service. I’ve worked in customer service for years, so I understand how difficult customer-facing roles can be, but this was beyond unacceptable. For a gym charging these kinds of prices, I expected far better. Instead, I was met with condescension and hostility. It’s outrageous that this is the standard they hold their staff to.

I’ve been a longtime member of this club, and I’ve never experienced anything like this. That manager lady Ari is actually insane. She seriously lacks social social skills and doesn’t know a thing about customer service, she kept harassing me about the gym closing and telling me I needed to leave when I still had a whole 15–20 minutes left for my workout. I work a full-time job and get off at 8:30 PM, leaving me very little time to work out as it is. I don’t come here to be micromanaged or treated like I don’t know how to act. I’m a grown man; I know when an establishment is closing and when to leave. I don’t appreciate being disrespected and harassed during the small amount of time I have to focus on my health. If this is how loyal members are treated, it makes me reconsider if this is the right place for me.

As a gym member at L.A fitness I’ve always found joy in going there to work out, the smoothies are great the ambiance reassuring and helpful and I really have come to view LA fitness as a second home and place to clear my head with that being said it’s really unfortunate that my second home has become polluted by the presence of new management who clearly have lack of social skills and critical thinking. As a long-time member of LA Fitness at the Wade Green location, I’ve always appreciated the friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been far from positive due to the behavior of the new Sales General Manager, Ari Northington.

Her unprofessionalism and confrontational attitude have significantly impacted the environment at the gym. I’ve witnessed her being rude to both staff and members, dismissing concerns, and even berating customers during phone calls. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone in a leadership position.

Ari’s presence has noticeably diminished the club’s once warm and hospitable atmosphere. Her tendency to micromanage and impose unnecessary rules has created a tense and uncomfortable environment for both members and employees. It’s disheartening to see such a drastic change in what was once a positive community space.

I hope that management takes these concerns seriously and works to restore the friendly and supportive environment that LA Fitness is known for. Members deserve to feel respected and valued, and I trust that steps will be taken to address this issue.

Best LA Fitness I’ve ever been to and the best gym period around this area, especially for the money.

Sarah the manager is kind, professional, and stays on top of any issues that arise. She’s incredibly kind to the kids who come into the KidzKlub. My daughter once asked why there were no unicorns, and instead of disappointing her, she sacrificed herself and birthed a full size horse with a 12 foot horn.

Isaac is also very personable and kind to the kids as well, always keeping them laughing. My son once told me in the KidKlub Isaac could juggle 3 soccer balls with nothing but his butt cheeks.

Eddie is incredibly hard working, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him not working and he is absolutely jacked. You can’t look at the dude without getting motivated to improve your own physique, Any trouble that arises in the gym, he catapults them out with nothing but his pinky, which can curl 100lb dumbbells by itself.

If you’re the type that walks into places looking for something negative, a paper towel on the floor, an unflushed toilet, or a dumbbell out of place, don’t come. Actually don’t leave your house period, for the risk of butterfly attacks is exponential. But if you’re looking for friendly staff and a great environment to better your health, come here, you wont regret it!

If I could give a zero I would. I had called about cancellation on my membership awhile ago and the front office assured me it was canceled. Come to find out I can’t cancel over the phone and was given a email I could use to cancel. I tried canceling there but was still told I still have to come into the gym in person to cancel my membership. Since then I have called and told them over the phone that I have moved and have to drive a hour to my nearest gym he took down my name and said he will give me a call back but never called me back. they refused a refund for telling me my membership was canceled and never canceling it.

I love the LA Fitness on EAGLE Drive and the people who work there are great. But...the women's sauna has been out of order for over a month now and the members are told one lie after another as to when it will be fixed. First it was a new part needed to be ordered then two weeks later the contractor was scheduled to come but didn't then another week passed and members were told it would definitely be fixed that Wednesday then that Thursday..then the contractor was sick...now the jack hammer contractor installed the part improperly and the coils caught fire so now the sauna needs to be replaced...probably a few months from now!! Come on corporate members pay too much for you to act like we have stupid written on our foreheads. In the meantime....Onelife has a great sauna but the pool is not as warm as the one at LA..

First thing first- this has nothing to do with the gym itself. I work at two gyms so I understand what he meant. Went about IT TERRIBLY!!!!!!!!! Went on a free day pass to help my dad workout! Gym was very clean and people where helpful. ( yes ik no training allowed) but I had been giving tips, working out with my dad on same machine and helping him with form so when he comes alone he can get a great workout in. Counting his reps and vice versa. Suddenly the front desk guy(idk his name, no la fitness gear on nor name tag) came up behind me! put his hands on my shoulders., asked if I was training - I responded with this is my dad just helping him work out. He said no training allowed with his hands still on my shoulders in a low voice ( assuming trying to be discreet ) . Sliding his hands across my back. I had to push his hands off my person then he walked away. The whole time I’m finishing my workout with my dad- I noticed him looking our way no matter where we went. Even if we were the only ones in that section. I stopped assisting my dad so repercussion wouldn’t be placed on his membership. We both felt very weird, uncomfortable and had a terrible end to our workout because of it. So much so that other members asked us what happened in the locker rooms. I understand he was doing his job ( by saying no training) but for one! HE DIDNT NEED TO TOUCH ME AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
if I didn’t check in with him I wouldn’t even know he worked there. Had a grey jumpsuit on and no name tag.
He should have handled the situation better and I love La fitness but they do not need to be putting their hands on people. Not even getting my attention before hand. Just out of no where grabbed my shoulders. I DO NOT APPRECIATE IT AT ALL! IF any training can be done for them to be more professional please apply it. I’m a very calm person but if it was anyone else I’m sure it would have gone differently. I didn’t wanna cause a scene at all especially with my dad being there. If more professional training and other steps where taken by management and passed down, I’d have no problem with being told not to train my dad. For the future your staff should not be putting their hands on guest nor members.

Horrible customer service from operation manager Sarah and an employee name Isaac. I originally called to have my account paused. The person I spoke with I now believed to be the operation manager Sarah. There’s two people on my account. I was never asked which membership I wanted to cancel and I assumed it was the entire account being cancelled. Until I was charge $30 for one of the membership account. When I called over the phone to make them aware, I spoke with Sarah who was completely not helpful and provided horrible customer service. Imagine she’s the operation manager. I went there in person, she was completely condescending, laughing in my face as if I was an idiot who didn’t know what I was talking about. Then Isaac an employee got involved , also lack any customer service. He was arguing with me over the fact that their employees are not fully aware of the company’s policies. Which they’re not because I later learn that employees are not suppose to paused accounts over the phone. And like I said, I’m pretty sure it was Sarah I spoke with when I called to canceled. Because her behavior said a lot. Mind you the so call operation manager Sarah was standing right there while her employee was arguing with a customer and my partner had to asked him to stop. I asked to speak with a general manager and Sarah tried to lie and say that he oversees multiple locations and is not available. Mind you he was right there. Sarah never went to get him until he came over to asked if everything was okay. So thank you to Corey the general manager who actually took the time to understand our frustrations and took accountability for his facility’s failure to follow policy. I also went ahead to make corporate aware of this situation and cancelled my membership.

The Wade Green La Fitness is the nicest equipment, better layout and the filthiest I’ve been too. It’s disgusting. The weights aren’t organized at night, you can never find cable machine attachments. Crunch opened a brand new location $10 cheaper, better equipment and immaculate 5 minutes away. Bathrooms are terrible, locker room lockers have at least 20 broken lockers. Showers are never clean. One of them has been roped off with a garbage bag for a month. Hasn’t had a shower curtain in 3 months. Dental floss was laying in the floor for a week in one stall. The smell of crap is also always present. Staff on the other hand are never present. Except when it closing time and they are harassing everyone 20 minutes before close to finish up. I always see them on the side door smoking with it sitting open during hours. I got the crunch membership because of how dirty this location is. Since they opened I’ve seen half the regulars at crunch. I’ve heard the same thing from them about appearance. Sprayberry location has older equipment but a lot cleaner. This used to be the best gyms. But not anymore. I would rather use La fitness but not like this.

Everything about this gym is great except the women’s sauna is never working properly. I have spoken to employees about this and they told me that the sauna is not “broken” but it does regularly overheat and needs to be reset. The gym itself is fantastic and has everything I need for my workouts, but with the broken women’s sauna there are many days I need to go to a second location for a working sauna after my workout and cardio.

Staff needs training on how to communicate over the phone. Acted like I was bothering them calling for a new membership price and became obviously agitated by the normal questions.
It's fairly clean place compared to other locations I've visited.
Overcrowded. Mondays and Tuesdays are too much to deal with. Rest of the week not as bad.
Equipment is definitely aging. Most of the machines are 10-15 years old. They did a little remodel last year, replaced the flooring, and built a crossfit area. (with absolutely no warning that they were shutting down for a week) They did add a couple of new machines, but I'm guessing they mostly just swapped in old equipment from other locations around the area.
They do a good job of fixing broken machines quickly, but for what it costs to go here, everything should be replaced every 5-6 years.

The worse gym. Mold and leaky ceilings. Old rusty equipment. Missing weights. I honestly never seen matching weights 15-35 pounds which is normally ideal for women. A bunch of young staff that don't wear any uniforms, never clean ANYTHING and lack proper training and information. You are still charged during the pause period and then when I came in to cancel they say only a manager can do it during certain days and times. Not worth the price at all.

Sent a form in to cancel my membership. Corporate headquarters claimed to have never received it. I called this location to cancel; they "do not have the ability" to do it over the phone, they said - "come in and we'll get it taken care of."

I made an appointment to speak with the manager, and I took an extended lunch break to drive across town. I arrived, and the guy at the desk said "oh sorry bro, the manager just went to lunch." I asked about cancelling my membership, and he told me he couldn't do it, and that I'd have to send in a cancellation form. I told him I'd done that before, and he said "You've gotta send it certified, dude; those things get lost in the mail all the time."

Before finally printing out a sheet for me, he asked me if I was interested in transferring my membership closer to my current location. I asked him if that was a serious question. Without saying another word or making eye contact again, he printed the cancellation form, threw it at me, and went back to looking at his phone.

Refuse to cancel my membership, because I physically could not show up in person. I had been struck by a vehicle as a pedestrian. Money has been super tight since then and they decided they were to take the last bit of money out of my account even though I already tried to cancel, and they refuse to cancel. The company that owns LA fitness sucks. Their contracts are ridiculous. And at no point in time is it worth it. Gross gyms with gross weird people doing inappropriate things. Making inappropriate gestures in the staff doing absolutely nothing about it

I don’t recommend this gym for no one they are bullies I don’t know if these comments are by staff but they a rude and disrespectful I had to a file. Several police reports on staff because I was harassed by one of the workers . I also have the police report and video to prove it I don’t recommend this gym on nobody I was harass at both locations … with several forms of racial profiling . SPAN, IAN MCCAULLEY also harass my father and humiliated in front of staff, even when I paid my membership on time

I joined LA Fitness mainly because of the pool. I'm a recovering paraplegic and need pool therapy for my recovery. These past few months, the pool has been cold. I'm told that the pool is at the proper temperature when I call before I unload my wheelchair and duffle bag. When I get there, the pool is freezing, which makes my nerve pain worse. I have to drive to another location that is further from my house. I wouldn't recommend anyone who's interested in swimming to join or come to this gym.

I went to go tour the facility and it was awesome. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful and friendly as he showed us around. I loved that they have child care, a pool, a sauna, and rooms for classes. The gym was clean over all and has lot of this for me to do when I work out. Would high recommend.

Me and seven of the gym members are leaving to crunch due to horrible customer service, bathrooms are disgusting and smell like complete dumpster. They cut most of the machines in half. There’s barely anywhere to work out after the remodel. The green is taken most of the gym. Employees don’t even want to work they just come here and Stay on their phones.

Don't ever sign ANYTHING with this company. They will not honor their cancellation agreement despite you having receipts for mailing in the cancellation form they require. They will happily continue to charge you after pretending they never received the letter. (I wonder why they require you to cancel through mail but allow you to sign up in person...) Customer service is exceptionally unprofessional/rude. You will be strong armed for a measley $20 dispute and threatened with growing fees if you aren't willing to take corporate to court. There is no cancelling with LA Fitness- you will be caught in their greedy teeth well beyond whatever the agreement says. Don't do it. Possibly the single worst company I've ever interacted with. Go find a local gym and let these vultures starve.

I usually come to LA fitness just for the sauna, the world pool, and the pool itself, the pool, and the whirlpool service not very inviting, the whirlpool is also broken, and showers did not have hot water. A little confuse there being that all the other locations have hot water to shower. Also a bit disappointing that this location is advertised as a whirlpool being available but it doesn’t work that is misleading advertisement. for that, I feel like I wasted my entire break. Also I was in grade it when I entered the facility may check in. I was given a weird look in a quick look away. Not sure how to feel about that. Either. Every member of LA Fitness is a paying member ! I really hope they get it together this location.

They renovated this location with a turf grass training area that takes up almost 50% of the gym, which only 5% of people are using. And they got rid of the cable machines and some other equipment. I hate it now. Going elsewhere.

This location lacks a cleaning crew. The machines are dirty and the men's locker room is horrific. Dirty toilets, pop paper all over the dirty floors, and this place has tons of smells. I don't recommend this location.

Over all a pretty nice gym hands down however, I just wish the Jacuzzi area was much cleaner there seem to be somewhat of a black ring around the area and not cool at all of you ask me i haven't seen that at any other LA fitness,

Don’t bring anything of any value to this gym lockers are broken into on a regular basis with no one to hold accountable with the amount of lockers that are broken into you would think the gym would do more with keeping people things safe
